from there use the boost to glide to the colosseum (beware that you will need a lot of wedges, also the thing has no collision and you could easily get teleported to the actual colosseum so watch out there)

it only gets dark once you enter the colosseum
should be fine if you land near the statues around it (though it's much safer to go inside the colosseum and use the clouds to glide near the statues, otherwise you may get teleported)
