Your Guide looks up at the sky, and you follow her gaze. As you do, you see two mantas flying overhead, circling each other playfully.

"Mantas are such beautiful creatures, are they not?"

"They are. A long time ago, when our ancestors had just started out here, there were many a Manta here. You could not gaze upon the sea without whitnessing an Elder Manta shoot up from its calm waters. Could not look up at this blue sky without seeing pigmy and manta playfully joust each other. Alas, after the collapsing of the Wind Paths, as well as the battle against corruption and darkness, we see so few here now."

As you watch the mantas play above you, you begin to imagine what this place might have looked like ages ago, when a multitude of mantas truly called it their home.

Sanctuary Guide

The Guide leads you to a large pond, filled by a water fall. It flowed from a large crack in the mountain, and the white mist it created hid a sml nook. You peered inside to see a bell, crusted with rust from age. On it, you could see ancient glyphs engraved.

"What is this?"
"The bells were the greatest accomplishment of the ancestors that settled here. Yes, the sound they gave off were beautiful and clear, and they resonated with the pigmy, mantas, and jellyfish that have taken residence here. When they sounded, all creature of the light would call, singing to its tune. However, when darkness took the land, they took the bells. Legend says they are scattered amongst the island, but we've yet to find them all... What about you, visitor? Do you think you might be able to find the bells?"
She knelt down and firmly placed her head on the soft patch of grass that sat at the center of the pond.
"After all, if you found one, how hard will it be to find the rest?"

The Guide leads you to another gash in the mountain. She walks through it effortlessly, only to suddenly disappear off what appears to be a cliff. As you rush over, fearing the worst, you see her standing on a ledge beneath you, arms open as if she was waiting to catch you. You jump down, and she helps you steady yourself.

"Come with me, I shall introduce you to another spirit."

You follow behind her, taking in the view of the ocean from this mountainside ledge. As you walk around a corner, you see her praying quietly to an apparition of sorts. The elderly man appears to be feeble, but has a stubborn appearance to him as well.

"This ancestor was a mountaineer. He kept to himself, but he wasn't a bad person. Because of him, as well as the cheiftan of this area, were able to find the beauty of this mountain's summit. He was a grumpy fellow, but he was tender at heart. He lead many an expedition to the top of this very mountain!"

Sanctuary Guide

As you continue to scale the mountain, you begin to see the view. Mantas are flying in a flock, chirping sweetly to each other, you once again see the small cluster of floating islands. You now even see a much larger plot of land further off, snugly hidden behind the clouds. As you look around, enjoying the view, you see another geyser in the distance.
"There are so many geysers here, do they serve a purpose?"
Zoella follows your gaze.
"Most help with transport, however that one is not of any use."
"What about it makes you cast it away?"
"That geyser has been polluted. Our ancestors were able to make astonishing technological advancements, however many of us now believe that this technology came at the cost of the light creatures we were meant to protect. One day, a shipment that was delivering some of this technology crash landed, the remains of the shipwreck remain untouched by the shore. I believe that it was the first signs of true despair. The Wind Paths lead the boat astray, and it crashed near by the geyser. The Power Diamond that was meant to be cargo became a disaster, polluting the geyser. Now, it is only good for planting more plants of darkness. Tell me, would you not also cast it away?"
