Rant time

So the first burst of darkness spewed out of Geyser. Me and these stranger lit each other up (as it happens naturally while players cooperate to burn darkness). Not even a bow, nothing.

Instead these players immedietely honked at me, and pointed to the toppled chair benches. They sat on the benches and spam honked. I wasn't baited at all.

The witch hat player's friend brought the campire prop, tried beckoning me again, I ignored, then they went back to broken chairs and continued spam honking waiting for me to come over.

Now... when I was 4...5 months into Sky last year, got baited into sitting at the broken chairs by nefarious strangers. Tl;dr I was traumatized and never took any bait ever again since then...These strangers kept at it until Geyser finished.

My question is, what did I do that needed me SO URGENTLY these players would rather yell at me to sit with them the whole time instead of help out at Geyser?? And this isn't the first time, this social pressure-luring behavior has happened to me so many times and I never yielded once. It baffles me when they all don't take "no" for an answer.

I'll explain:

2 strangers were pressuring me to answer personal questions like my exact age and where I live (not time zone, specifically where I'm from) and would make mockery of me and interrogate me more firmly when I withheld my private info. They were all around rude and they were pressuring me to accept a friend request when I never asked for it and no two way consent even happened. It was really a "gotcha, we snagged you!" kind of social trap.

I got so uncomfortable. They got distracted while placing a picnic spell, and I used that opportunity to escape to home. One of the strangers noticed me TPing and spam honked.

When I returned home to Aviary, 2 grey kids spawned where one would upon returning. One of them was spam honking, presumably the one who got up at my face before I escaped.

I was terrified (they were planning on dragging me to Grandma when I never gave the ok even). I grabbed my stuff from the shrines, zipped past the two and away to Grandma before they caught me.

My heart was pounding... Didn't help I wasn't quite over my crippling social anxiety at that time. Thankfully I'm alot hardier now in these situations than before.

Only one I can think of in the Forest is Blue Bird. Boogie kid is sitting just above Grandma's table in the elevated clearing, you can go to that meditation circle and play that story. The other one is Two Embers, which you can enter from the Cinema in the Aviary now. The lantern in the Cinema will teleport you to that part of the map.
