So took a long break from sky (last I played was start of blue bird season) and recently got back to playing. I think I really needed the break, unfortunately missed a pretty season but it was worth to get that feeling of joy back. I used to constantly grind for candles and seasonal items that it wasn't fun more so seeing the community get together in this new area makes me want to play again. Being a vet to sky is definitely exhausting sometimes but I'm glad I still play. Happy 6th anniversary!

I personally would like it to stay white like other white capes do with minimal pink bounce light. So I made an edit.

Have no idea if it's supposed to be pink or white but whatever 😭 I want it more white. If it is pink in daylight they should make it more apparent. If it's white.... Make it more apparent in night LMAO

I was able to take these photos on a mission with the spirit of a prairie ranger. In that place, you had to photograph birds, but then you were given the freedom to take all the photos you wanted with the camera that the spirit gave you

When I was a little moth I met my sky friend and master. We would always play together but then they suddenly stopped playing. I don't know what happened but they disappeared. I learned to cope by guiding moths in sky and they looked up to me for assurance.

Things were rocky for me but I managed to pull through and get back to them. One of them stopped playing because of family matters and we were left scarred but not broken. His absence reminded me of my sky sister and master.

Positive encounter story time:

It's another unassuming day. I met this crowd that had very good chemistry at Geyser. They did Cure for Me dances in a group and emote played, but in a more quiet form rather than the usual chaos types. These players, I could not tell if all were mutual friends or alts playing together or what, but... they exuded such calm, the kind of inviting and warm calm, not the cold distant unresponsive type. I saw them playing with the bells, to which I joined. This went on a good 5 minutes before we unanimously settled down. A couple seemed AFK, one was AFK then present back and forth (the angelic manta one). The Troublemaker haired one was most sociable and began dropping a manta plush to me. The white manta player did the same. This went on a while too. Eventually the player in the Shepherd (?) fit did this emote and we all joined. They continued interacting so calmly and quietly, no chats, no spamming, just... being there in the moment. The Troublemaker haired Sky Kid eventually added me, then the Shepherd one, then the angelic Manta one.

I nicknamed them Heart of Unity, Quiet Company, and Silent Angel respectively. Such rare types of players.

Whoever you people were, you are beautiful You lifted some weight off a stranger's heart without knowing it (and made this year's anniversary brighter). Bless your souls ;_;

Just means that when you honk and select a player in the same area from afar, you can teleport to them, automatically holding their hand if they have one available

it means that if you're friend is on the far side of a level, you can call and a button will appear to let you teleport to them -- to appear right at their side holding their hand

it's great because otherwise, the servers might split or you may run out of charge before you can manually fly to them

just be aware: disabling the teleportation function means that your friend cannot only not teleport to you in-level, but that they cannot join you from the constellation menu. i think the constellation-menu extent is unintentional, since none of the dialog menus for that friendship menu mention it

Having finally acquired the shield, I went out to do some field tests.

From what I can gather, readying your shield upon attack greatly reduces stagger that otherwise leaves your Sky Kid immobilized for a few moments. It seemed to reduce wing loss too?

as usual there is clipping for the flower of the new season with the bird twins (this kind of happens with all flowers except the dual flower items, so I adjusted the flower to be in the position of the dual flowers for these two hairstyles).

However, surprisingly, the flower clips with shell collector too which seems it would be a super easy hair to not have clipping

I adjusted all three hairstyles. Left is unedited and right is with the clipping corrected. Here is the image for feedback if anyone wants to also feedback it

I didnt check all hairstyles, but I hope if enough people feedback about clipping it will make them take another look and check the compatibility of this flower item to the hairstyles in game.
