I've tried it with a friend and yes you can! The biggest problem is you can't light anything because crab has no light, so if you get hit by rock in the beginning you won't be able to stand up and will be moving really slow. So when this happen either me or my friend were uncrabbing and bringing other person back to life, and then crabbing again
