A suggestion to an alternative way for the minecraft ai:
Use minedojo as a general framework and a gpt3 model to generate prompts. You could also implement an logic that puts the generated tasks in a sensible order.
I.e. if the tasks are

1. Build a stone house
2. Mine stone
3. Get tools
   That they are instead
4. Get tools
5. Mine stone
6. Build a stone house
   Alternatively you could make the ai skip tasks that it cant complete and make it revisit them later. Or make them generate them on way, instead of generating a script beforehand.
   I'm not sure if your even interested in using research work or if you want to make everything yourself. But I think it could a interesting and promising idea.

kind of got interested in the issue of Neuro not being able to skip sponsors reliably, and I got an idea which I am currently trying to figure out on my own, so the heatmap bar on most youtube videos with ads often spike with people skipping past the ad, not always, but a large portion of the time. Maybe that could be used in combination of trying to detect the word "sponsor" or similar?
kinda unsure if it would work, does it sound like a possible solution, or have you already tried it?

an issue I could already see is if she mistakes another word as the triggering word, but what do I know?

Even then it could cause other problems due to the "age" of neuro's model, which would also have to be the upcoming original model because I can guarantee Live2D would not be happy about their property being used for exclusive lewder streams

I wonder if it would be better for Vedal to teach Neuro-sama Minecraft by subdividing each playthough into subactivities. If we have spawning in the Overworld as a startng point and have defeating the ender dragon in the End as an end goal, then we can subdivide a speedrun into different processes as follows:

spawn in Overworld -> create nether portal -> enter Nether -> collect enderpearls and blazerods -> make endereyes and leave Nether -> locate stronghold and complete end portal -> enter End -> destroy end crystals -> defeat ender dragon -> enter portal and finish run

Each sub-proccess can be broken down futher into smaller activities that can be evaluated at the end of each run.

Each proccess that can be evaluated returns points that are summed with other completed activites at the end of each run to be compared with other runs and influence Neuro's evolution. The efficiency of how the task was completed is also added and weighed.

Each sub-proccess can be compared as well, if there are similar contexts that allow them to be compared.

It might also be useful to create a new neural network to complete basic, low-level actvities in a isolated and controlled manner, i.e. teaching a neural network sharp shooting in an arena, and then creating a higher-level meta-neural network that decides when to apply the lower-level neural networks to complete higher-level tasks.

Integrating those meta-neural networks into Neuro-sama essentially teaches her how to break down higher-level tasks into smaller activites and apply many learned abilities to complete complex tasks.

Suggestion to improve Neuro-sama would be to program her to ignore emotes in the chat, as she may not always understand their meaning. This could prevent her from repeatedly asking what the emote is, and instead allow her to focus on other aspects of the chat. I dont know how to program but maybe you get the idea.

Not sure if this has been suggested here before (probably has) but Minecraft's context menu that opens with the F3 key shows which block the player is looking at, at all times. So provided you can do it (and Minecraft doesn't block scripts from reading that data) it would make Neuro aware of what she's looking at.
At that point just three, four lines of code telling her what can be mined and what can't, what needs which tool would make her a better player.

Another system, if that doesn't work, would be to effectively make her look for dopamine- When the player gets experience/the experience bar fills up, Neuro gets told that she did something good and attempts to do what she did more often- Mine ore with a specific tool etc.

Apparently people are REALLY into this topic- I found this with a quick google search and this https://github.com/JFlaherty347/Pokemon-Red-AI which seems to be the model that they used for the experiment, given that its creator is the same as the one that submitted the paper

@shut sequoia yeah so I was looking at that pokemon red AI yesterday, it is certainly no where near capable of beating the game though thats a super hard problem for AI to solve at least by itself

and that poke bot doesnt seem to be an AI in the sense that the other one is, not sure exactly how it works but I assumes it basically is just making deviations on some TAS script? (idk I havent looked into it)

Yeah given that its from 2017 i suspect its simply a TAS made to run on its own with pre-defined inputs rather than learning what to do by itself.... Bit rich to call that an AI

Perhaps a simple AI for walking around and talking to people combined with a trigger that switches to the Pokemon Battle AI you already have, whenever a battle is triggered- It'd be difficult after the first couple gyms but for the early game where you just walk around and battle people it should work?

• try to make the filter do less false positives without getting me banned
• for collabs allow a manual approval for things that are flagged by my filter (only issue is if it takes ~4s for neuros AI to generate a response and ~3s to manually approve then it might be kinda slow for those, plus it requires someone to always be paying attention)

it is a tricky one though, apologies if it makes the collabs awkward to watch at the moment

one mistake with the filter could cost a lot

Obviously it wont work for everything, but i have a feeling most of the filtering is done by specific bad words being spotted.

Preventing Neuro from saying 'hate speech' might be too abstract a guideline to follow absolutely. There's too many creative ways to get Neuro to say something that could be interpreted as offensive. The only real way for Neuro to avoid saying such things would be to teach Neuro how to interpret narratives and understand human nature. But I don't think she's capable of that as of now.
