You have a whole bunch of "zomboes" on the right that immediately catches your attention, so instinctively, you'd try to escape through the left, but then you see imp there and so it's even worse option.

In reality, it's most likely because while Numi can be shown with just a bit of hair and corn, so it leaves a lot of space for background, artist had put twice more of Cerber on the left to make her hair recognizable, so only space for one character in the background left.
