Meh
I would run it in like a coin flip deck since then you're running more support.
Like [[Edgar, King of Figaro]] or [[Krark's Thumb]]
Also that effect isn't one sided. It's ALL players including you
And if you're looping an Enchantment there's gotta be better options lol
you're right unfortunately
i mean I coud run [[Destiny Spinner]] and [[Vexing Shusher]]?
[[hexing squelcher]]
[[dovescape]]
thats blue
Just don't run blue lol
[[Chimil, the Inner Sun]]
Legendary Artifact
Spells you control can't be countered.
At the beginning of your end step, discover 5. (Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with mana value 5 or less. Cast it without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom in a random order.)
yea theres plenty of options lol
with one of those puppies out while reurring it with effects like [[Yuna, Hope of Spira]]
Legendary Creature — Human Cleric
During your turn, Yuna and enchantment creatures you control have trample, lifelink, and ward
.
At the beginning of your end step, return up to one target enchantment card from your graveyard to the battlefield with a finality counter on it. (If a permanent with a finality counter on it would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, exile it instead.)
3/5
and we did say there would be blinking
People are gonna be really annoyed rolling the dice each time.
Oh it's to be annoying?
to be blue IS to be annoying
It's not, but [[possibility storm]]
Enchantment
Whenever a player casts a spell from their hand, that player exiles it, then exiles cards from the top of their library until they exile a card that shares a card type with it. That player may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Then they put all cards exiled with this enchantment on the bottom of their library in a random order.
This shit drives me insane
You're gonna be focused on hard if you're just being annoying. Need stax or you can't keep up with a pissed off table.
like what
[[no mercy]]
What bracket?
Probably just a big stupid spell like [[crackle with power]] or just like pings from a [[fire brand archer]] types
is that very blue tho?
Casting spells is blue ya
stuff like [[Mirkwood Bats]]
i agree
Firebrand archers aren't black
Or like the otters or whatever else does spell damage
I would just use the mass of clues to do something silly. [[Depthshaker Titan]]
Artifact Creature — Robot
When this creature enters, any number of target noncreature artifacts you control become 3/3 artifact creatures. Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step.
Each artifact creature you control has melee, trample, and haste. (Whenever a creature with melee attacks, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn for each opponent you attacked this combat.)
5/5
As animating artifacts is blue
That's good synergy with the Commanders
Maybe some [[Clock of Omens]] nonsense
That thing goes infinite too easy
It's doable to not go infinite with it.
Yeah, but it's meh
Feels blue though
Tippy tap
what would the targets be tho?
You could go for like [[scrawling crawler]] draw damage
[[peer into the abyss]] lol
Wheels are probably more fair, but not really b2
Mana rocks/[[magistrate's scepter]] (if you do want to go infinite)/[[Grindclock]]/[[Keening Stone]]
[[The millennium calendar]] isn't very blue, but would work.
Legendary Artifact
Whenever you untap one or more permanents during your untap step, put that many time counters on The Millennium Calendar.
,
: Double the number of time counters on The Millennium Calendar.
When there are 1,000 or more time counters on The Millennium Calendar, sacrifice it and each opponent loses 1,000 life.
[[Isochron Scepter]]
Going infinite isn’t really my thing but going infinite is very blue so
I’ll make an acceptation this time
this is a trauma response lol
No it’s a response to me being called a “closeted blue player”
just wanted to check
https://moxfield.com/decks/nuGsSlu-e0WFa0e7_OCahA
This would be a B4 deck right? only 3 gcs, but a few inf combos and no fast mana or free interaction
I think if you embrace bracket 4, you could make the deck a fair bit more powerful still and fit in nicely.
It might not break the bracket 3 rules. But land-centered strategies are really well positioned in bracket 3, so I reckon the deck might overperform a bit there. Especially with the infinite combo's present.
Two decks i had fun with today are [[! Kadena slinking sorcerer]] and [[! baeloth barrityl]] with noble heritage. What kind of card draw options would work good in kadena?
Well, Kadena is already your card draw engine. There are some more morph/cloak/manifest/manifest dread/disguise/megamorph cards you could consider for card draw, or you could include some card draw that is less dependant on your boardstate. Just in case you've got nothing going on, a [[Painful Truths]] may find you some gas.
Yeah the issue i ran into was I kept drawing lands and not enough morph cards. I think a few useful ways to get stuff in my hand could help
Hmm, consider your curve a bit. Do you ramp on turn 2 so you have a turn 3 commander, or do you do nothing on turn 2 and morph/cloak/manifest/manifest dread/disguise/megamorph on turn 3, dropping your commander on turn 4?
A lot of my ramp is turn 2. Since my commander is 4 i didnt put anything like cultivate in it. I want to get to 4 and play a card for free with kadena most times.
I think maybe I'm too up on lands cause I think i started with 38
How consistent do you have 4 mana on turn 3? (How many turn 2 ramp spells?)
Ok, then it probably makes most sense to run a big card draw spell to refuel after you're out. Rather than small draw spells.
[[Trail of mystery]] only works after I play a morph card
So might be something to cut. Idk if that's doing me many favors
Yes this is what I'm thinking of
Maybe [[return of the wildspeaker]]
Do you run most of the on-theme draw like [[They came from the pipes]] [[Oblivious Bookworm]] maybe also Aphettor Runecaster/Roshan, Hidden Magister? (Just trying to gauge how much draw is already in the deck)
Enchantment
When this enchantment enters, manifest dread twice. (To manifest dread, look at the top two cards of your library. Put one onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature and the other into your graveyard. Turn it face up any time for its mana cost if it's a creature card.)
Whenever a face-down creature you control enters, draw a card.
Creature — Human Wizard
At the beginning of your end step, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card unless a permanent entered the battlefield face down under your control this turn or you turned a permanent face up this turn.
"Huh, the detector won't stop beeping. Must be on the fritz again."
2/3
And do you run many cards that allow you to play cards without morph as morphs? (Manifest dread for example)
I don't have came from the pipes but I do have bookworm and secret plans
I like They Came from the Pipes as it does something if you have nothing.
Yeah I do i have zimone vanifar and a few others
So it may be beneficial to have card draw in permanent form so it can be unmorphed?
Thinking about running [[tyrant of discord]] in my ashling the limitless deck, I dont like that it eventually has to make someone sac a land so I wanna find an alternative I can slot in for when the other ppl in my pod dont wanna screw with land destruction, I do have nulldrifter in the same deck but I honestly just dont attack with it if someone only controls lands
Wanting another elemental like it/Sunderflock to act as Boardwipes I can swing with, if you got any suggestions ping me
[[Rottenmouth Viper]] isn't much kinder, but it doesn't hit lands.
Creature — Elemental Snake
As an additional cost to cast this spell, you may sacrifice any number of nonland permanents. This spell costs
less to cast for each permanent sacrificed this way.
Whenever this creature enters or attacks, put a blight counter on it. Then for each blight counter on it, each opponent loses 4 life unless that player sacrifices a nonland permanent of their choice or discards a card.

What do you think of this Sauron deck?
Sauron, the Dark Lord - Commander deck
(1) Commander • (1) Anthem • (1) Artifact • (1) Copy • (9) Counters • (8) Draw • (1) Finisher • (30) Land • (1) Lifegain • (1) Mill • (2) Protection • (3) Pump • (17) Ramp • (10) Recursion • (10) Removal • (1) Sac Outlet • (1) Tokens • (3) Tutor • (1) Untap
Want to mostly win voltron-style in combat, with Nazgul as an alternative strat
An initial build of Muldrotha, think I've probably got too much ramp? Could remove some for more removal/ interaction https://archidekt.com/decks/19917520/graveyard_shenanigans_with_muldrotha
Muldrotha, the Gravetide - Commander deck
Graveyard • Dredge
(1) Commander • (1) Anthem • (1) Blink • (5) Counters • (2) Drain • (10) Draw • (1) Finisher • (38) Land • (1) Lifegain • (1) Mill • (4) Protection • (1) Pump • (15) Ramp • (7) Recursion • (6) Removal • (1) Sac Outlet • (1) Theft • (1) Tokens • (...
3 mana rocks can probably go
Thanks, I like the screwdriver as swiss army knife, so will cut Sphere, Monument and Thought Vessel.
is this a bracket 1? the idea is you intentionally keep yourself under 7 lands at all times, so you only make plants. https://archidekt.com/decks/17951588
avenger of zendikar, rumbleweed, and insidious roots feel like maybe not 1, but without them there's basically nothing making the plants any bigger than 0/1.
If your plan has anything other than "these cards have hats on them" it's not really bracket 1
Anything with a game plan is bracket 2
That being said. I think you're low powered enough that you can hang with bracket 1
But lacking any real interaction you're probably going to rumbleweed after 6hrs and 20 turns and win unless someone has enough trample in their deck full of guys in chairs to beat you first
trying to build samut as a token/combo deck
and im having trouble thinking of a timeline
Which samut?
The 6 drop one
Well, with [[Samut, The Driving Force]] you might wish to either play some low cost cards (lands even) to start your engines early. Or you could use your tokens to ramp into Samut on turn 4.
Legendary Creature — Human Warrior Cleric
First strike, vigilance, haste
Start your engines! (If you have no speed, it starts at 1. It increases once on each of your turns when an opponent loses life. Max speed is 4.)
Other creatures you control get +X/+0, where X is your speed.
Noncreature spells you cast cost
less to cast, where X is your speed.
4/5
Perhaps using some of the X cost spells that make tokens.
[[Song of Freyalise]], [[Citanul Hierophants]], [[Cryptolith Rite]], [[Elven Chorus]]
Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I, II — Until your next turn, creatures you control gain "
: Add one mana of any color."
III — Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control. Those creatures gain vigilance, trample, and indestructible until end of turn.
[[Enduring Vitality]], [[Springleaf Parade]], [[Baylen the Haymaker]] and [[Supportive Parents]] might be able to help you get there.
Enchantment
When this enchantment enters, create X 1/1 colorless Shapeshifter creature tokens with changeling. (They're every creature type.)
Creature tokens you control have "
: Add one mana of any color."
"Come into the light, strange one. All are welcome to bask in Eirdu's glow." —Kithkin rite-leader
Hello everyone! I’ve been in and out of magic for a few years but I’ve never built a ton of decks.
This is my first attempt, my goal is for a self mill zombie elf deck. In name obviously I dunno how many, if any, “zombie elves” there are.
This deck has been doing well in arena but I don’t know if that’s dumb luck or if I did a halfway decent job with it. Part of it came out of the “jump in” event and then I filled it out from there.
It works well but I’m gaining a TON of life (not complaining) and I’m thinking maybe some cards to throw that life gain at opponents as damage would be cool.
Happy to have any guidance or input on how to make this better.
https://archidekt.com/decks/19980903/dont_tell_the_elf?sort=alpha&stack=custom
im having some trouble with something
cannot find a deck that wants [[sunforger]] [[raiding schemes]] [[wheel of sun and moon]]
Enchantment
Each noncreature spell you cast has conspire. (As you cast a noncreature spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it and you may choose new targets for the copy. A copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)
"Keep enemies close . . . and elves closer." —A tale of Auntie Wort
tried building the samut deck and it wasnt good
one idea was [[hazezon]] polymorph
Multiple cards match “hazezon”, can you be more specific?
so you'd say high 3/low 4 then? given landfall and inf combos?
Yeah, do you play with a regular playgroup?
I go to the same store each week, but play w different people each time.
so i guess so
It might be an idea to either shift it towards 3 or towards 4. So it belongs a bit more in either bracket.
Ragost, Deft Gastronaut - Commander deck
(1) Commander • (5) Artifact • (3) Burn • (4) Copy • (1) Counters • (3) Creature • (4) Draw • (1) Enchantment • (2) Finisher • (26) Land • (1) Planeswalker • (6) Protection • (1) Pump • (11) Ramp • (3) Recursion • (9) Removal • (1) Sorcery • (1) Stax • (8) Theft • ...
if anyone has any ideas for swaps, or ways to optimize this please let me know. I need to make cuts for more land for sure. I just need this deck to be balanced. If you have suggestions feel free to dm me
I'm really liking the idea of [[Calamity, inferno]] as a commander but not sure about what can be "game enders" in b2 in mono red other than maybe cloning big eldrazi. Thoughts on my current build? https://moxfield.com/decks/hyEjW8n_JU2Wd320rxWLDw
In B2 you might do something silly like Borderland Behemoth (which end up being two 12/12 tramplers). But there are stronger options already in your list.
Speaking about some of the stronger options already in your list:
Port Razer does go infinite with Calamity if the path is clear. It is not a super strong combo, but it might raise an eyebrow in B2.
Copying Twinflame Tyrant is also lethal commander damage. Worst (best?) case scenario: turn 1 land, sol ring - arcane signet, turn 2 land - Twinflame Tyrant. Turn 3 land - Calamity - kill one opponent with 32 commander damage and another with the two Tyrants (48 damage).
This might not really fit bracket 2.
Cool list though! 🙂
B2 allows 2 card infinite combos now if the game goes long enough
Least from the last update I understand
Aye, the question may be if this qualifies as a late game combo. It's a 2 card combo that includes your commander that can hit the battlefield before turn 5.
And I really doubt I can get rhe magic Christmas day hand like that lol
Aye, the question would be if it is still too early on turn 4, or 5.
I'll need to add more creatures anyways as I cut a lot of the generic value stuff
The expected turns - guideline in the bracket description would suggest so.
There aren't that many cards that outright kill a player in your list though. So you could tone it down a bit to fit B2. Perhaps going for a bit more of a value-setup, rather than a combo kill.
It was more value already but had so much value I had to thin it out, which is funnily enough the opposite I was told to do here, remove a crap ton of value for more power as I had like a lot of general value
Ah, well I suppose it mostly depends on what bracket you want to play this in.
It may be that it is just a more fun deck to play at bracket 3 or 4.
I've noticed that it can be difficult for the competent deck builders in this community tune down a deck to B2. The more invested players tend to find their way to stronger options.
But also power means nothing in b2
I died on turn 6 to the fucking lotr HUMANS PRECON
Pure precon
So power literally means nothing in b2 anymore
If power means nothing, the bracket system is useless. Might as well ignore it.
The game is just THAT Power crept that anything isn't even b2 anymore
I mean you ain't wrong
I'd say there is value in the bracket system though.
The bracket system is the dumbest fucking thing to be made the old power 1-10 was fine
Than explain a b2 pure precon winning turn 6 when a b2 is supposed to go at least 1 hour
For starters: winning on turn 6 is not winning on turn 4.
Then how many pieces does it take for the precon deck to achieve this? - How likely is it?
So im looking for some help with constructing this deck. ive tried it a couple times even 1 game at bracket 4 where i got to go off on turn 5 and win. this deck is orginally built with the sideboard cards in the deck and those are the ones im thinking of removing. I want to be in a solid bracket 3 where i can help stop my opponents from winning at the same time build out my engines so i can combo off eventually and i dont know if my cuts are the correct ones. I am also not fully decided on veyran being the endgame commander
https://archidekt.com/decks/20129945/ral_cool_deck
It's the exact same odds as this mono red deck winning turn 4 in magic Christmas land, im sure the lotr humans precon could win turn 4 too
I'm not an expert on Veyran, but it looks solid. [[Shadow Rift]] is another version of Enter the Enigma that you may have missed?
Christmas land in Middle Earth:
Turn 1 Sol Ring + Arcane Signet + Rohirrim Lancer
Turn 2 Herald's Horn + Flowering of the White Tree, attack for 2.
Turn 3 Éowyn, Shieldmaiden + Combat Celebrant, attack for 39 = 41 total.
It is for sure a strong precon. It did surprise me a bit.
This took 6 cards plus the commander. The mono red list deals 32 commander damage + 48 other damage on turn 3 with 3 cards and your commander. I would not say these are the same odds.
Disregarding Christmas land for a moment: the combination of cards that allows you to deal lethal damage is 1 card + the commander.
All this said: your pod may just be fine with it. So don't take my word for gospel. Your opponents may very well be running enough interaction to keep you in check. Either way: adjusting the decks power level can always be done later if need be.
Wont liie this was close to ehat he did, had some of those crazy dash cards too and had a big army...I honestly thought he cheated/pre stacked his hand prior to the game starting
What made ir worse is I wasnt even a threat. I had no real board state compared to others and all I did was remove a problem piece on his board
It can be rough to be on the receiving end of a god hand.
Literally all I did was have 1 creature on the board and remove 1 thing. Than I fucking died turn 5 or 6
Like
Why be a dick and kill someone that early
Especially b2
Aye, that's kind of where I was coming from regarding the explosive potential in your deck.
I would never outright kill someone that early. I specifically hold back till someone starts getting ahead/popping off
Ah, I typically have trouble playing weak with a strong hand, it is easier for me to keep myself in check while building the deck.
[[Containment Construct]] hey I have a quick question can I bypass the land rule if I discard a land while this creature is out in play?
@stone steppe #rules-questions
But I'm pretty sure the answer is no, it says you may play it, which still gets negated by the "you can't play more than 1", can't always wins and such
What's a reasonable amount of lessons to run in a firebending deck with a lessons subtheme (bracket 2)?
I was searching mingame cards for [[!zevlor exile]] anyone else have fun suggestions like [[!prisoners dilemma]]?
Obviously they have to target single opponents or creatures
Just an example of a mini game card
If anyone of you got a quick suggestion! Really appreciate it!
https://discord.com/channels/574711449566445603/1474545737172910241
Yes similar to those cards. I said I had searched for mini game cards already. But was looking for other ideas of cards that do similar effects. Like villainous choice etc.
If you are doing villainous choice and voting you might want the [[valeyard]]
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Noble
If an opponent would face a villainous choice, they face that choice an additional time. (They can make the same or different choices.)
While voting, you may vote an additional time.
"The most damning is still to come. And when I have finished, this court will demand your life!"
4/5
Not really a fan of dr who thanks though
I Also don't want to play Eggman so you don't have to recommend me them either
There's not that many cards like that man. Good luck though.
I need to cut 2 cards from the deck but im not sure which. I will not cut the Secret Lair Fallout cards and would very much like to not cut any of the other Fallout cards since that is the main theme

Anyone wanna take a look at my cringe ninja turtles card deck? I don't make reanimation decks and I tried to keep this as budget as possible. If a card costs more than a couple dollars I own it for the most part.

Finally getting around to building a dragon deck, going with [[Rivaz of the claw]] and I'm gonna be focusing on using as many haste and dragon token makers as I can
Legendary Creature — Lizard Warlock
Menace
: Add two mana in any combination of colors. Spend this mana only to cast Dragon creature spells.
Once during each of your turns, you may cast a Dragon creature spell from your graveyard.
Whenever you cast a Dragon creature spell from your graveyard, it gains "When this creature dies, exile it."

what bracket is this deck? ive asked so many people and AI too lol and its like 50/50 on whether its a 3 or 4. https://moxfield.com/decks/HJlX9qzlN0CfixN_OSkq5A
Yall know any more cards similar to these 2? Not like theif cards fully but just stax that are more about making the table share stuff
I'd say 4. Based mostly on the fast mana.
You have basalt and forsaken monument for infinite mana prety quick. I think it's a 4.
[[Knowledge Pool]]?
Not really stax, but definitely makes players share: [[Eye of the Storm]] and [[Fractured Identity]]
https://moxfield.com/decks/-qKZXPTu0kOFRQD-bNo1JQ
I need yalls knowledge, what bracket is this?
This feels like a 2 that will probably play like a 3
Also thank you for the redoubled stormsinger tech, forgot about that little guy
I just started using that one ngl, found it in my bulk and figured it might be useful
i'm also having difficulties placing this one in a bracket: https://moxfield.com/decks/JTMnmTuc_EqNg3wV4dxF4g
it's like soft stax, some control and an approach of the second sun finish. slow.
So I built this, played it for the first time last night, and it got nowhere. Despite it only being one game it just felt completely off. Would welcome any suggestions. https://archidekt.com/decks/19917520/graveyard_shenanigans_with_muldrotha

Is there a world I can make a good high bracket 2/low bracket 3 deck out of turtle power that’s like a ninja/turtle/mutant tribal/+1 counter deck?
Idk if that’s too ambitious or possible
Sure
I'd say B2.
Looking for some advice here. I’ve been tuning Anje for a long time now, and there’s been an ongoing debate in my pod about whether she’s still too strong. For the most part, the deck has sat at a high Bracket 4, and for a while it even leaned into cEDH territory.
At this point, I’m not sure where it really falls. I’ve considered dialing it back to a strict Bracket 4 build instead of sitting on the edge of cEDH.
So with that in mind — does this list read as a solid 4, or is it still somewhere in between?
https://moxfield.com/decks/Ta6BDNlH00iIu1UYn4P1nA
It seems as though two thirds of the deck want to be a B2/3 madness deck and the other third wishes to be in cEDH. If you wish to enjoy the madness cards, I'd probably take out the combos to tone it down to B2/3. And if you wish to enjoy the combos I'd probably take out most of the madness cards and instead put in more interaction to compete in cEDH.
I'd say B5 is where combo decks thrive. In B4 there often seems to be a mismatch if combo is involved. If there is no difference between the speed you can combo out in B4 an B5, and the only difference is the amount of interaction you can pack... well, that's just a glass cannon cEDH I suppose. Something many B4 decks are just not prepared for. (And probably a main reason they can't compete in cEDH)
Difficult spot for this deck for sure.
https://moxfield.com/decks/FMSO6PHcfk2zcJg8c9Xefw
I uploaded my binder on moxfield in lack of better things to do. I want to build something new but I genuinly have no clue, I started working on a sisay deck yesterday on moxfield an after playing around with it for a while I wasn't too excited for it, any ideas for something to build?
maybe Kalamax would be cool. don't really see him that often
Thank you for the input, looks like its time to take her apart and build asmo
trying to build a deck from scratch for the first time, would apprecaite some help with the mana curve or any budget card recommendations https://moxfield.com/decks/u7g7JtSYJU2QSJ3ueCcylw ive attached pics of which cards i for certain have but am willing to cut them as well. thanks
At first glance this looks quite nice for a first deck from scratch. If anything, I might add a few more big spells, that can really change the board state in your favor.
Perhaps a reset button like [[Season of Weaving]] or [[Zimone's Hypothesis]] and a big boardstate builder like [[Benthic Anomaly]] perhaps. [[Elminster's Simulacrum]] does a bit of both.
Sakura-Tribe Elder is very accessible land ramp on a that could replace one of your artifact ramp cards.
Instant
You may put a +1/+1 counter on a creature. Then choose odd or even. Return each creature with power of the chosen quality to its owner's hand. (Zero is even.)
"There exists a theoretical infinity between the discrete atoms of reality. I'm simply appropriating that infinity as storage space."
Creature — Eldrazi Serpent
Devoid (This card has no color.)
When you cast this spell, for each opponent, choose a creature that player controls. Create a token that's a copy of one of those creatures, except its power is equal to the total power of those creatures, its toughness is equal to the total toughness of those creatures, and it's a colorless Eldrazi creature.
7/8
those could work very well thank you, do you have any recommendations on what i should cut?
Personally, I think Meteor Golem is a bit underwhelming for 7 mana. Triskaidekaphile is cute, but this is maybe not the right deck for it? Fractal Summoning is a pretty bad card to cascade into.
Playing some counterspells makes sense, but there is always a risk of cascading into one. You could opt to run cards that have multiple modes, so you don't have to use them to counter your own spell. Like [[Confounding Riddle]].
Working on a [[Rivaz of the claw]] list, wanting to have alot of haste in it, so far planning on using: Dragon Tempest, Kolaghan, Anger, Enduring Courage, the red dragon orb and Haste Magic. Any other recommendations for haste enablers? Nothing finalized yet but will share a list later on
Legendary Creature — Lizard Warlock
Menace
: Add two mana in any combination of colors. Spend this mana only to cast Dragon creature spells.

Building [[!kenessos priest of thassa]] and im having trouble with finding creatures to hit on his ability even with about 35 creatures in the deck. Scry just seems so mediocre would it be better to just have more [[brainstorm]] effects and load my topdeck with fire? Is there a big scry effect for kenessos that isnt just "scry 3 and hope you dont get screwed"?
I keep digging and most seem bad. Unless im missing something
I think it's good to run a combination. Some dedicated reliable brainstorm effects and some scry effects that are tagged onto cards with other uses. Like [[Thassa, God of the Sea]].
Legendary Enchantment Creature — God
Indestructible
As long as your devotion to blue is less than five, Thassa isn't a creature. (Each
in the mana costs of permanents you control counts toward your devotion to blue.)
At the beginning of your upkeep, scry 1.

: Target creature you control can't be blocked this turn.
5/5
Ok maybe ill retool it again. Im just trying to make kenessos go fish and it just feels super clunky lol
I was thinking maybe [[soothsaying]] might be good as a mana dump
About the only scry x I could find that seemed reliable
There are a lot of cards that have some top deck manipulation tagged onto interaction.
That's true maybe I should just lean in heavy on scry + other effects
Brainstorm type effects may be extra effective because they set you up for 2 activations of your commander.
What about breaking tribal like with [[arcane adaptation]]?
Well, that may be extra hurdles, as you can still whiff if you have a land on top.
But if you have some non-fishy blue threats you'd really like to cheat in, it could be fun.
Sylvan Library, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, Brainstone, Brainsurge perhaps also a Future Sight kind of effect. I don't think you need all that many of these to make the commander somewhat reliable as long as your fish-density is high enough.
I basically need about 30 fish and maybe 5 non fish creatures
Is 38 lands enough? Should I even put 2 drop mana rocks in here? Once I can regularly cast kenessos ability I feel like they're kind of a whiff
Maybe even pull the 2 drop land finding cards
Hmm. Consider your curve. Do you wish to run out your commander on turn 2? Or play a protective equipment on turn 2 and then play the commander on turn 3? Do you want your ramp to be able to cast the krakens for their mana cost? Then perhaps bigger rocks make more sense than small ones.
Also, you do have access to green, so land search is a consideration. This is a funny thing. It can work really well with brainstorm if you have cards in your hand that you don't want to see. On the other hand, if there is a big kraken on top that you'd like to cheat in at instant speed, you cannot play your sorcery based land ramp first.
https://archidekt.com/decks/20503698 this is what I have so far. I think ramp that gives me 2+ mana feels best. So I kept cultivate and kodamas. Mostly cause the goal is to keep fishing for monsters. So anything that reduces the cost of his ability or nets me two mana seemed ideal
Playtesting this felt better. I bumped up the relative creatures to 30
Theres only 5 creatures that wont hit on kenessos ability
Other considerations are [[sevala heart of the wild]] or [[champion of ronas]]
A few scry lands too just for good measure lol
Did you consider [[Quest for Ula's Temple]] ? Not sure if it's worth it to include it as a backup though.
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it's a creature card, you may reveal it and put a quest counter on this enchantment.
At the beginning of each end step, if there are three or more quest counters on this enchantment, you may put a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent creature card from your hand onto the battlefield.
I have. I dunno what I would remove but its definitely one id like. I kept the planetarium i coild maybe remove it for that
Planetarium is also a backup to my commanders ability since it free casts off the top
Maybe the Enigma Jewel is a bit too narrow?
Maybe but it can craft into a doubler when its not in use
So then 2 potential kenessos triggers
If I even get that deep in the game
Lol
Mostly just wish I could make room for 10 more sea creatures and have them all be cards that did stuff besides being big
Lol
This deck might love abundance lol
Don't know how that would actually work. You wouldn't necessarily want to draw the card right?
Just pick land and keep weeding them out of the deck
Like removing lands from the deck means im way more likely to play sea creatures
So [[traverse the outlands]] effects would be terrific
[[Famished worldsire]]
Creature — Leviathan
Ward
Devour land 3 (As this creature enters, you may sacrifice any number of lands. It enters with three times that many +1/+1 counters on it.)
When this creature enters, look at the top X cards of your library, where X is this creature's power. Put any number of land cards from among them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
0/0
Tbf this is definitely like bracket 3. My goal is to "lets go gambling" on ppls end steps as much as I can. Part of me wants [[nature's reclaimation]] and [[seedborne muse]] effects in here just so I can do it more lol
No card found for “nature's reclaimation”
[[Wilderness reclamation]]
Well, with a 100 card deck, deck thinning is probably only good if you can do it in really big chunks. Abundance might not be enough. That Famished Worldsire though... ^^
Lol ikr
Well if I had another Bident effect I might get enough draw for abundance to really matter
At that point you need Bident, a couple of creatures on the battlefield that are not blocked, Abundance, your commander and some spare mana to flip the top of your deck. It might be a bit too much to ask.
True
I probably should fit worldsire in there
Theres another sea creature with a similar effect
Hmm maybe not
You have it already, Trench something?
Oh yes!
Ty
Lol
I swapped the changeling for worldsire
Why copy a serpent if i can just play one i wanna play
Lol
I might realmwalker one of the serpents I don't like so I can look at topdeck more
Like [[slinn voda]] cause the likelihood ill play him for 10 mana is low
Tysm deck feels so much better I just needed a push in the right direction!
Might tweak it a bit more to add reclamation to the deck but will see. I untap most of my creatures who are also mana rocks. So ideally I can trigger kenessos before and during my turn every time
If not I can reduce the cost enough that I can do it regularly and get value
Anyone have suggestions on good cards from the TMNT set that do +1 counters im boros for [[seph fallen hero]] ?
Legendary Creature — Human Avatar Soldier
Jenova Cells — Whenever Sephiroth attacks, you may put a cell counter on target creature. Until end of turn, each modified creature you control has base power and toughness 7/5. (Equipment, Auras you control, and counters are modifications.)
The Reunion —
, Sacrifice a modified creature: Return this card from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
7/5
I got inspired by TTM to try and do a random deck design and got Blue/Wheels/tap&untap. so i went with Azami Wizards. cause i figure an easy way to go about it was to find Unctus and start some nonsense tapping to draw out my deck. no thassas oracle, and trying to avoid infinite hand size cards cause i like to craft the perfect hand over having a whole deck in my hand.
so jace/lab maniac/13aphile
alternate wins being like Psychic Corrosion/Psychosis crawler
Hello Fellas if one of you got an idea i be pleased to hear it
(My Control deck is looking for a good finisher to clsoe out a game)
https://discord.com/channels/574711449566445603/1478329250808598631
[[Roadkill Rodney]], [[Shellshock]] and the cards in this list:
Instant
For each opponent, choose up to one target creature that player controls. Shellshock deals X damage to each of those creatures. You create a Mutagen token for each creature dealt damage this way. (They're artifacts with "
,
, Sacrifice this token: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. Activate only as a sorcery.")
so im building an attractions/artifacts deck and i have 2 cards that feel important but i cant fork over $30+ each for them and i cant seem to find replacements. would appreciate suggestions for replacing [[Mycosynth Golem]] and [[darksteel forge]] also heres my decklist as well https://moxfield.com/decks/OuDqC-Mtn0-62UNhKepwOA
what bracket is this? https://archidekt.com/decks/20562587/izzet_budget
I don't think Darksteel Forge is all that good to be honest, it is a lot of mana. The Walls of Ba Sing Se is slightly cheaper, but still very expensive. Soul of New Phyrexia would require you to keep mana up all the time. Heroic Intervention is probably best, but still fairly costly.
You could run [[A Realm Reborn]], [[Blinkmoth Urn]] or [[Karn, Legacy Reforged]] instead of Mycosynth Golem.
Legendary Artifact Creature — Golem
Karn's power and toughness are each equal to the greatest mana value among artifacts you control.
At the beginning of your upkeep, add
for each artifact you control. This mana can't be spent to cast nonartifact spells. Until end of turn, you don't lose this mana as steps and phases end.

Does your deck intend to win through commander damage?
I guess it does. How early would it kill a player? I'm inclined to say B3, but haven't goldfished it extensively.
Hmm, 3 goldfishes later and it seems like it can definitely get there before turn 6. So that might take it into B4 territory. That said, it is rather weak to interaction, so if your table is ready for it, I guess it could be fine in B3.
https://moxfield.com/decks/rXyAYLFz30uqo4EoXY6_TA
i'm currently working on a 'throw discounted spells at the wall' deck and i'm wondering a few things™ since i haven't been able to playtest against people yet
- does it look like there's enough to burn/hit opponents to death in here?
- what bracket would it fall into, as-is?
- are there any obvious cuts/replacements?
I added some tmnt cards for my +1 counter boros sephiroth deck, thoughts? Did I miss any good ones? https://moxfield.com/decks/9I4XDfYXUkqlBE6ffMXfFA
Seems quite alright. Bit light on card draw perhaps.
10 card draw and 2 Exile draw affects is low?
Draw all the cards!
for how low your cmc is? yeah probably
you may burn your hand really fast
and then be stuck on topdecking 1 or 2 drops
Well, the cards that draw only a single card don't really get you very far right? Or do you have a blink engine to go with cantrip creatures?
Oh, I may have missed some, sorry 🙂
I mean...what else can I do for card draw in boros that doesn't discard cards? I guess the weird mono white ones but idk what to cut
impulse draw on your low CMC is your friend
I don't have any canteip creatures blinks. It's a counters strategy
My strat is too niche in the colors to impulse draw
Oh THAT impulse
I already have a few in the deck
Should I try to have loke 14 total?
It depends a bit on the draw. But expect that you want to see at least one card that draws multiple cards by turn 5. To have an 80% chance for this, you'd need 12 in the deck.
[[Brigone, Soldier of Meletis]], [[Etched Oracle]], [[Exemplar of Light]] these types of card might work if you run enough cards that put counters on other creatures.
Maybe [[The Aetherspark]] can do work?
Legendary Artifact Planeswalker — Equipment
As long as The Aetherspark is attached to a creature, The Aetherspark can't be attacked and has "Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage during your turn, put that many loyalty counters on The Aetherspark."
+1: Attach The Aetherspark to up to one target creature you control. Put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
−5: Draw two cards.
−10: Add ten mana of any one color.
Loyalty: 4
I run it aLOYt so idk
50/50
The angel is a maybe
I could use more flyers
Also I just realized I only have 1 board wipe. I need wipes that go with the strat
I kind of like running little to no wraths in my aggro decks, but I suppose it is a bit playgroup dependant.
I would probably consider [[Chandra's Ignition]] because you can potentially you K.O. everyone if you happen to have a really big creature. Or just spread your counters around so that you can deal exactly enough to not wipe your own board.
Sorcery
Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to each other creature and each opponent.
In the moment before her execution, she realized what it meant to be a pyromancer, to be alive, to be Chandra.
Ok...idk how but I added 8 more cards from the tmnt set and commander deck lol and need help on 9 cuts now - https://moxfield.com/decks/9I4XDfYXUkqlBE6ffMXfFA
Costume closet, Ed ED, Crystalline Giant, Ecological Terrarium, Tokka, Showdown of the Skalds
I had 100 cuts for a while I dont need more
Less you have better cards to suggest to replace those
After finishing my last strange build
I have had another idea but before i spent hours building it i would love to hear some others opinions if this could work!
Thanks to anyone taking themselfs soem time!

Hello peeps need some advice
Yoo! What cards would you recommend adding to a pauper duel commander deck featuring Wraith, Vicious Vigilante
Equipments and aura's that protect Wraith and give triggers upon dealing combat damage to a player.
Hey everyone, I would like to see some opinions on whether my skullbriar deck is too strong for a bracket 2 setting. I'm newer to magic and deck building (3 months). I feel its a pretty synergistic deck but is it too optimized for bracket 2?
Thihs looks a lot like my early Skullbriar. Without gamechangers and no tutors, I'd say this is probably bracket 2..
Anyone have some interesting GW token creators for my [[Brigid, chlac]] deck?
No card found for “Brigid, chlac”
[[Brigid, clachan's]]
Legendary Creature — Kithkin Warrior
Whenever this creature enters or transforms into Brigid, Clachan's Heart, create a 1/1 green and white Kithkin creature token.
At the beginning of your first main phase, you may pay
. If you do, transform Brigid.
3/2
Brigid, Doun's Mind
Legendary Creature — Kithkin Soldier
: Add X
or X
, where X is the number of other creatures you control.
At the beginning of your first main phase, you may pay
. If you do, transform Brigid.
3/2
Only using basic lands and cards that can create tokens
Things that grant myriad like legion loyalty don't apply. Populate effects count
I think theres a couple cards that make a bunch of g/w citizen tokens
[[Rabble Rousing]]
Enchantment
Hideaway 5 (When this enchantment enters, look at the top five cards of your library, exile one face down, then put the rest on the bottom in a random order.)
Whenever you attack with one or more creatures, create that many 1/1 green and white Citizen creature tokens. Then if you control ten or more creatures, you may play the exiled card without paying its mana cost.
That's a good one. Will see if I can find one :)
I want to build an Izzet spell slinger deck but don’t want to be the archenemy with vivi, I was kind of deciding between Ovika and Veryan, if anyone has any suggestions on either
Ovika is probably the less scary option. Veyran is very explosive also.
So yeah, I'd go with Ovika
Been testing [[Nanogene Conversion]] in my 5c Ashling deck, mostly just due to it being a pet card. Ended up kinda loving its Inclusion, at a base for ash it just turns all creatures into copies of her, so unless your opponents have Elementals with flash then their fields essentially just turn into a bunch of 2/3 do nothings while you get a turn to evoke any elemental in your hand and then make an army of em
Most evil I got with this so far was using it on Ash and then evoking [[Cavalier of Flame]], making 7 of em while having 6 lands in grave
Creature — Elemental Knight

: Creatures you control get +1/+0 and gain haste until end of turn.
When this creature enters, discard any number of cards, then draw that many cards.
When this creature dies, it deals X damage to each opponent and each planeswalker they control, where X is the number of land cards in your graveyard.
6/5
So counting OG Flame and the 7 copies, totaled to 48 damage
Fun stuff. I wasn't aware of that version of Mirrorweave.
Copy shenegeins are always fun for me
I thought about getting and trying [[Mirrorform]] but it not being symmetrical and permanently changing stuff has me iffy
Working on updating my Titania, Nature's Force deck and I've come to the realization that harrow et al are bad in the deck... And explosive vegetation et al is good. 🤯
Did you take into consideration that Harrow can be cast at instant speed? This could create a blocker at instant speed. Or surprise your opponents by creating a few extra creatures in the last end step before you untap.
It is a big benefit, but in over two years I don't ever recall it coming up.
i will say ovika because that card is like casual commander
Im working on hashaton discard deck but i can’t decide which non zombie creatures should I put. Any suggestions?
Would anyone be willing to give me some feedback on my TMNT deck? I have a lot of cuts to be made and adds, but looking to make this fun and strong. Lmk what I should change!!

Would using [[Illusionist bracers]] be a good idea in [[High Perfect Morcant]]?
Legendary Creature — Elf Noble
Whenever High Perfect Morcant or another Elf you control enters, each opponent blights 1. (They each put a -1/-1 counter on a creature they control.)
Tap three untapped Elves you control: Proliferate. Activate only as a sorcery. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there.)
4/4
Perhaps if you have more activated abilities that you'd like to copy. For just High Perfect Morcant, I think you may be investing a bit too much into a situation where things are already going very well.
Consider these scenario's:
If there are no counters on your opponents creatures, you may have nothing to proliferate. (This can be the case if your elves were played before High Perfect Morcant entered, or if your opponents creatures with counters have died already and the new ones are counter-free.) In this case, you would also need to have more elves to apply counters, or the proliferation is no use.
Now assuming there are counters on your opponents creatures:
If you have fewer than 3 elves that you'd like to tap, the Illusionist's Bracers do nothing.
If you have 3 to 5 elves that you'd like to tap, the Illusionist's Bracers provide one extra proliferation per turn. For an initial investment of 5 mana, I'd say that's a fairly steep cost.
If you have 6 or more elves that you'd like to tap, the Illusionist's Bracers provide two extra proliferations per turn. I'd say this is where we are cooking.
At that rate, you are applying 4 -1/-1 counters per turn on however many creatures have a -1/-1 counter.
Typically your opponents will try not to spread their counters around when blighting, so likely you'll kill one creature at a time. Requiring a new elf every time you wish to start the proliferation process on a new target.
Given all this, in most scenario's I think you may prefer having an elf, rather than an Illusionist's Bracers. As an elf would contribute both to the blight and the proliferation process. And likely synergize with more cards in your deck.
Now if we're also playing a Seeker of Skybreak infinite combo, or more cards with relevant activated abilities like Formidable Speaker, Argothian Elder, Wellwisher, Argothian Elder, Immaculate Magistrate, Lathril, Tromell and Timberwatch elf. Perhaps a Fauna Shaman to find them... maybe it becomes more appealing?
Morcant entering also makes them blight so unless they have an Elesh norn its basically Guranteed that theyll have counters on em. But overall I came to the same thought while at work, plus I have a ton if elves I've already ordered and dont think I'll have room for the bracers anyway
I see what you mean, but once their blighted creature dies, they no longer have a creature with a -1/-1 counter until you've played a new elf right?
Anyhow, I think elf decks tend to be pretty lean indeed, so might be hard to find room as you said.
Yeah but I also dont aggressively proliferate just to kill things, rn the thing that's gonna take bracers spot is [[Elvish Champion]], helps make ppl blight with Morcant and aids with Morcant proliferating while mainly being an anthem + giving forest walk
Makes sense
I should be able to make good use of that forestwalk, already have cradle of growth in deck
Aye, and green is a fairly popular color already.
Dont have to tell me twice, think the only 2 decks last tournament I went to were just Eldrazi and a Saint Agustin deck
Idk how to spell that 2nd ones name, I just remember my spells being 5 more at one point, paying 6 just to try and exile that thing and getting countered
Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, yeah, decks with that commander have a tendency to be annoying. ^^ If it were just the commander, I think it'd be just a minor nuisance, but they tend to load up with all kinds of taxation, counterspells and control cards.
Oh I know, think that was karma for using Satya + Tax Collector to tax the owner of a store I was playing at out of a game, he had to pay 10 for a path to exile only for it to get Aether spiked
But tbf, he said whoever beat him would get a special d6 as a prize and I'm a dice goblin so
Just put together Jerren he seemed really cool and a really cool chance to make a flavourful deck. General life bargain, reanimator and human/demon synergies. Closing out games through overwhelming demons or Bloodletter of Alcazotz + Scourge of Skyclaves or low life swaps any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙂 https://moxfield.com/decks/JRin3QpJYEqsraSLly-d3A
https://archidekt.com/decks/20905106/you_like_cards what do yalll think of my force draw deck i made, idk how well i did and would like tips on how to improve it
5 color, that's nice. Usually these lists are lead by a card like Nekusar, but now you get some interesting white and green options too. [[Sokrates, Athenian Teacher]] might be a fun addition.
The Rack probably doesn't do what you think it does. Also, maybe [[Khorvath's Fury]], [[Storm Seeker]] or [[Runeflare Trap]]?
The gate manabase is rather slow, and Maze's End really would want more land ramp support to be able to get there. Because your opponents will likely go pretty fast with all of the cards they're getting.
Legendary Creature — Human Advisor
Defender
Sokrates has hexproof as long as it's untapped.
Sokratic Dialogue —
: Until end of turn, target creature gains "If this creature would deal combat damage to a player, prevent that damage. This creature's controller and that player each draw half that many cards, rounded down."
0/4
[[Xyris, the Unwritten Storm]] may also be nice with your commander being able to boost.
No card found for “Xyris, the Unwritten Storm”
Oops, [[Xyris, the Writhing Storm]]
Does anyone know of a card I can pour my own life into while it’s in the graveyard?
I don't think this exists. It would be pretty broken for an unlimited life loss outlet just from the gy.
What you can use is stuff like [[Agatha soul cauldron]] or [[dermotaxi]] to copy things like treasonous ogre, wall of blood, villas, etc.
Legendary Artifact
You may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to activate abilities of creatures you control.
Creatures you control with +1/+1 counters on them have all activated abilities of all creature cards exiled with Agatha's Soul Cauldron.
: Exile target card from a graveyard. When a creature card is exiled this way, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control.
[[Cleaving Reaper]] has a big if...
i grabbed the cards and i wanted to ask, should i get rid of the gate idea entirely and just do like dual lands?
I think that'd definitely be better yes.
There are many ways to build a manabase, but try not to play 11+ lands that always entered tapped. I'd say up to 10, you can reasonably expect one out of every 4 lands to enter tapped. This would ideally be your turn 1 land drop. After that, they tend to start messing up your curve pretty bad. Fortunately your deck draws a fairly large amount of cards itself, so it is likely that you will find more untapped lands as you go.
Keep in mind that your deck is mostly blue, so it'd make sense to run a bit more blue.
i did add to the maybe board acouple more green and red cards as some additional land givers,
Ah, yeah, do you have a deck thread? I do have some ideas to further the deck, but don't want to clog up this thread.
i can make one, one sec
Hey everyone, I was hoping to get feedback on my Bello deck, aiming to keep it as a strong 3/weak 4. https://moxfield.com/decks/9em20Pg0xEmf7_gYu9lu6A
This is a four. You have infinite combats on turn 4 in a few different ways with aggregated assault
Hellkite courser is a weird choice for a 3 mana commander
Tempt with discovery is bad if you're playing against knowledgeable players. 4 mana to tutor a land when you can do that for cheaper.
https://moxfield.com/decks/EYyWhgcjYUKEbNX1txgqYQ
Hey! Hoping to get feedback on this. When I run it through calculators, I'm being told this is bracket 2. However, when I analyze and review combos like myr retriever + ashnods alter + scrap trawler, I can see this being a bracket 3 or 4.
thoughts on "orcish bowmasters at home"? [[Orc Sureshot]]
I'm considering running them in some token spam strats, but I might just be fooling myself....
thanks for the feedback! honestly, yeah doing some goldfishing i feel like i'm able to present a win pretty consistently on turn five, six at the "worst." my original thinking with courser was that it was a way to cheat tax endgame if bello gets removed a few times, but I think you're right and it's too expensive for what it does.
I ended up picking tempt because I think I can get my friends to agree to it more often than not - most of them are reliquary tower lovers and in the worst case its another gaea tutor.
So im attempting a fun way of a tribal deck for a store near me and I had to change my original commander deck to make it work and I feel its ok and wanted some opinions
My thought process its spiders but not using spider-man cards with some cards from tmnt to fill my non tribal 10 creature card limit focusing on counters and attacking
is this a typo?
I think so it was late at night lol
yeah, I was just confused about "not using spider-man" and then seeing like 10 spider-mans. nbd.
My goal was to use spider-man cards and to use small amount of regular spiders besides my previous commander as possible
And hoping to get some final opinions on it before ordering what I need
Trying to pick my first mono white commander, wanting to use either [[Anti Venom Horrfying Healer]] or [[The Prydwen]]
If someone got an opinion on which one of the 2 i should choose greatly appreciated
https://discord.com/channels/574711449566445603/1484686775145332887
Definitely look out for damage redirections, evasion, and protection if doing Anti.
Prydwen would be a less common pick, but can be interesting. Trinkets and a loose human/knight typal deck has a lot of options.
I would do Prydwen just because white doesn't get damage based removal :/
I actually ended up going with the Prydwen bc I had alot in my bulk I could use with it, Moonshaker, Dion, various goof artifacts etc. Just cheaper than having to buy everything AV wants
Going for an Artifacts and Knight deck
https://archidekt.com/decks/20721136/death_tax
i’d like to hear some input on this deck that i put together. one of my main concerns was the inclusion of Phyrexian Altar, because i wanted to try to keep it a B2 deck but i don’t know if it could actually pass as a higher power B2 deck or if it just looks like a B3 deck without GCs. if it does, what could i swap in/out to either keep it a B2 or bump it to B3? any other input on the deck as a whole would be appreciated as well
I think this deck wants to be in B3. It is probably where Aristocrats as a deck feels most at home. Your deck is likely already most at home in B3, but is perhaps under performing sometimes due to a few of the slower, clunkier card choices (Debt to the Deathless/Pillory of the Sleepless/Debtors Knell/Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts ... you know the flavorful Orzhov stuff you like ^^).
Update on this instead of the Prydwen I think I'll be using [[Dion, Bahamut's Dominant]] instead as a Knight commander
Legendary Creature — Human Noble Knight
Dragonfire Dive — During your turn, Dion and other Knights you control have flying.
When Dion enters, create a 2/2 white Knight creature token.

,
: Exile Dion, then return it to the battlefield transformed under its owner's control. Activate only as a sorcery.
3/3
Bahamut, Warden of Light
Legendary Enchantment Creature — Saga Dragon
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter.)
I, II — Wings of Light — Put a +1/+1 counter on each other creature you control. Those creatures gain flying until end of turn.
III — Gigaflare — Destroy target permanent. Exile Bahamut, then return it to the battlefield (front face up).
Flying
5/5
what should i swap in/out to make it more of a B3 deck?
Not much, it already fits fairly well. I'd say take out the somewhat clunkier cards and replace them with more efficient cards. And perhaps run a few more sacrifice outlets or extra card draw/tutors to help you find them. That could make the deck a bit more consistent.
any advice on what to swap in? i know you already mentioned a few things that were more clunky, but i’m curious which cards would best slot in. if there’s any budget options it’d be preferred but i can handle a couple bigger cards
I'd pick up a [[Viscera Seer]] and/or [[Woe Strider]], perhaps an [[Enduring Innocence]] or [[Welcoming Vampire]]
Enchantment Creature — Sheep Glimmer
Lifelink
Whenever one or more other creatures you control with power 2 or less enter, draw a card. This ability triggers only once each turn.
When Enduring Innocence dies, if it was a creature, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. It's an enchantment. (It's not a creature.)
2/1
For removal try to focus on things that can deal with non-creature permanents too, as you can already deal with those through your commander if need be. Have to go though, so no time to help you out further at the moment. Maybe make a thread and I can come back to it in a few days.
i thought i had Viscera Seer in there for some reason, idk why it’s not in there
[[Warren Soultrader]] was another one I missed
making a brudiclad deck in the big 26
im at the hard part. making the cuts
Looking for mono white cards similar to these guys. Basically just stuff that can buff my knights/creatures on mass
[[patchwork banner]] and [[always watching]]
Patchwork def will help, always watching I cant use much since most the Knights I'll be using are tokens, could probably throw it into my Human deck th9
Thoughts on including non elemental creatures in an Ashling the Limitless deck? I think I have one or two mana dorks in there that aren't elementals but that's it rn. Tossing over adding a Twinflame Dragon and maybe a Hexling Squelcher
Only non elementals I added were ones that directly boosted elementals stuff like elesh Norn, [[Temur Battecrier]], etc
That's what I might stick to, too. Hexling would be nice for defense but I have a couple counter spell options and a couple exile instants so I should be fine. Twinflame Dragon would really help me reach a wincon but it'd be soooo expensive to get on the board vs evoking elementals.
Why elesh norn tho?
Works as another panharmonicon and blocks your opponents etbs
[[Elesh Norn mother of machines]]
My build just tries to maximize the amount of etbs I get, Panharmonicon, Elesh Norn, Twinflame travelers, Roaming Throne, etc
Bc of that I didnt bother with Sundial, I just use other things to bring back that elemental after it sacs itself or just copy the token
As for wincons, if you want a really fun one I'd recommend a pet card of mine [[Nanogene conversion]], just turn every creature, including your opponents, into ashling then evoke sumthin big or sumthin that can do alot if burn damage like [[Champion of the path]] or [[Cavalier of Flame]]
Creature — Elemental Sorcerer
As an additional cost to cast this spell, behold an Elemental and exile it. (Exile an Elemental you control or an Elemental card from your hand.)
Whenever another Elemental you control enters, it deals damage equal to its power to each opponent.
When this creature leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to its owner's hand.
7/3
Creature — Elemental Knight

: Creatures you control get +1/+0 and gain haste until end of turn.
When this creature enters, discard any number of cards, then draw that many cards.
When this creature dies, it deals X damage to each opponent and each planeswalker they control, where X is the number of land cards in your graveyard.
6/5
is mass ld on [[yuma]] a good interaction?
Legendary Creature — Human Ranger
This spell costs
less to cast for each land card in your graveyard.
Whenever Yuma enters or attacks, you may sacrifice a land. If you do, draw a card.
Whenever a Desert card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, create a 4/2 green Plant Warrior creature token with reach.
6/6
I suppose it makes sense, question is: are you ready to take the heat in B4? Or are we going with really really mild mld?
i am planning om armageddon type cards
I have a question if I have [[Drivnod, Carnage Dominus]] out on the field and my commander [[Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder]] dies, if I pay into her DT, does Drivnod practically double her damage?
Legendary Creature — Vampire Soldier
Flying
Sacrifice another creature or artifact: Put a +1/+1 counter on Evereth. If the sacrificed permanent was a Treasure, Evereth gains lifelink until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery.
When Evereth dies, you may pay
. When you do, Evereth deals damage equal to its power to each opponent.

I'm trying to move 4 cards to my sideboard, but I'm struggling to figure out what. It's an expensive commander so I have a lot of artifacts that add mana, but I'm wondering if I overdid it? I was thinking of dropping Fellwar Stone, plus [[Spectrum Sentinel]] to start.
Avatar Roku, Firebender - Commander deck
(1) Commander • (1) Anthem • (1) Burn • (1) Copy • (2) Creature • (12) Draw • (2) Evasion • (2) Finisher • (2) Instant • (37) Land • (1) Lifegain • (7) Protection • (2) Pump • (18) Ramp • (1) Recursion • (10) Removal • (2) Sorcery • (1) Theft • (1) Tokens
Anyone got some ideas for a "wincon" with this commander?
[[Arcbound Ravager]] if you go heavy artifacts or perhaps some kind of [[Diamond Lion]] or [[Loyal Retainers]] loop is possible?

What do you guys think about this?
Your curve is very low and you do really want to drop equipments on turn 2 so Ardenn can start equipping on turn 3. This makes me wonder: do you need the ramp?
Probably not, that's true
Found a couple more ways to buff my Knights in my Prydwen deck
I wanna swap out sum cards to fit sum if not all the cards in my sideboard, but im having a hard time figuring it out, so far i think gisa and geralf, and liliana, death's majesty should come out but idk what else

I am stucking picking a commander because i cant decide to fully commit to a strategy. On one hand proliferate sounds super fun with card advantage in the command zone but on the other hand blink mv 4 or less sounds super cute playing lots of value peices but i would want to kind of go a lonis secret commander route where alot of my value is token pieces so its not all there in the command zone just a piece finder with blink. or i could run my oringial idea of tokens value town sophia and have 5 or so dogs or dog makers in the deck to eventually sac all my little artifacts to make big hard to block dogs. focusing is hard on one deck is hard but it makes it harder because i want to put the same pieces in each list... thanks for any input
but then again i could just drop white all together and play lonis...
Thinking about making a [[Geralf, Visionary stitcher]] deck
Anyone build [[Neriv, Heart of the Storm]]
Trying to build a [[Zeno yae Galvus]] Politic / "Semi Group Hug", any recommendations for cards to add?
Legendary Creature — Human Noble Warrior
My First Friend — When Zenos yae Galvus enters, choose a creature an opponent controls. Until end of turn, creatures other than Zenos yae Galvus and the chosen creature get -2/-2.
When the chosen creature leaves the battlefield, transform Zenos yae Galvus.
4/4
Shinryu, Transcendent Rival
Legendary Creature — Dragon
Flying
As this creature transforms into Shinryu, choose an opponent.
Burning Chains — When the chosen player loses the game, you win the game.
"The heavens are too small a field for our dance. Let us transcend this mortal coil!"

Anybody seen any commander decks using the Sneak mechanic in fun ways? I feel like [[Splinter, Radical Rat]] gives a lot of options, and cards like [[Fire Nation Trebuchet]] and [[Dour Port-Mage]] would work nicely too. I know there are a lot of good Ninjutsu cards from older sets, but I'm trying to not drop $20 per card.
Artifact Creature — Wall
Defender, reach
Whenever you attack, create a 2/1 colorless Construct artifact creature token with flying named Ballistic Boulder that's tapped and attacking. Sacrifice that token at the beginning of the next end step.
The trebuchets would be destructive enough even without the fire.

I wanted to see how well Tellah would run with the new opus cards and prepared creatures, and the answer is way too well https://moxfield.com/decks/5mbLSPvoaku0p09etRYFHA
Was thinking about using [[Coin of Mastery]] in my [[The Prydwen, Steel Flagship]] deck, I know it wont make more knights with its tap effect, but I was thinking it's a convenient way to just tap to buff those tokens while also being able to help my nontoken stuff by letting them enter with some counters

Is 36 lands enough for these stats?
Average mana value (MV) is 2.36. Five lands enter tapped. Fourteen pieces of ramp; nine 2-MV, five 3-MV.
Commander is Atraxa.
This is what I have settled with for Witherbloom the Balancer. Let me know your thoughts

Hey all,
I'm a new player and I'm trying to build a mill/discard/reanimator deck with Raffine as my commander. Everything I've brewed, played and upgraded so far have been relatively straightforward; I have a big stompy dragon deck, a token generator, a life drain/gain and a thief deck. But this deck isn't as straight forward and I could do with some guidance!
https://manabox.app/decks/AZ2ii7bXdwqzvW8PCC0uDw
Are there any glaring issues with the deck?
Thank you 🤘🫡😁
I think you'll want some more reanimate targets.
Thank you. Any specific attributes I should look for in them? My instinct says go high drop/powerful creatures because of the opportunity to reanimate without paying the mana costs?
I really don't know though? Thank you so much for replying 🙂
That is the correct instinct.
Brilliant. Thank you!
this feels like a good stopping point for upgrading my elf deck
only things I can really think of changing at this point would be finding fetchlands and other, more expensive, options for a few of the things already there.

Depends on the format and what type of deck you're building. I'd recommend looking into the format channels of the ones you're interested in for better advice

how weird can i build [[the twelfth doctor]]? if i give a removal away, i would prefer if they cant use it on my commander with its high re-casting cost
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
The first spell you cast from anywhere other than your hand each turn has demonstrate. (When you cast that spell, you may copy it. If you do, choose an opponent to also copy it. A copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)
Whenever you copy a spell, put a +1/+1 counter on The Twelfth Doctor.
4/4
and i do hate how Demonstrate is a flavour fail mechanic
its a mismatch with what the word means and what it does in game
Would love some thoughts and cuts for this deck. It started as a meme deck but had turned into something interesting.
It wants to trigger Repartee and the Crime abilities. Ive also added ards that can be used to trigger crimes by giving my opponents thins, as long as my opponents agree to do something for me in return.
Cause of the commander, it does have a high creature count. I am wondering if I should have added more cards to put creatures from my grave back into my hand
[[heroic stanza]]
gay crime? XD
Like I said, it started as a joke at my LGS
I happen to pull all the cards with openly queer characters and art. I ran those colors in my prerelease, went undefeated and a bunch more (light hearted) jokes were made about being gay and doing crimes to win
Then it turned into a meme deck idea that became a more serious deck idea
Abigale can use her ability to trigger crimes or to power up my board. Its useful as a negotiation tool, as well as a good number of other cards.
Hi, i want to make a Selesnya Goad deck with [[Gluntch the bestower]] as commander.
Basically, want to pump opponent creatures, goad and ghostly prision them while trying to ramp myself and have a few boardwipes once it is only two.
Do you know what good cards i should add?
I say, habe some pillow fort cards to make it hard to attack you and have "political" cards you can use to encourage players to attack each other if you give them something in return
yeah. that's the idea. But... like which cards are fun political cards?
Cuz i do tend to like adding stuff like [[Prisoner's Dilemma]] or like [[Vault 11: Voter's Dilemma]]
You know, secret choices stuff
Sorcery
Each opponent secretly chooses silence or snitch, then the choices are revealed. If each opponent chose silence, Prisoner's Dilemma deals 4 damage to each of them. If each opponent chose snitch, Prisoner's Dilemma deals 8 damage to each of them. Otherwise, Prisoner's Dilemma deals 12 damage to each opponent who chose silence.
Flashback

Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I — For each opponent, you create a 1/1 white Human Soldier creature token.
II, III — Each player secretly votes for up to one creature, then those votes are revealed. If no creature got votes, each player draws a card. Otherwise, destroy each creature with the most votes or tied for most votes.
VERY! I made 4 different 99s for mine and they're all different flavors of chaos
i would liek a look if possible
and i want to see if i can grieve the partner and just do izzet and get 99 in the main deck
I like using [[Duelist's Heritage]] as a political tool. Helps to send big creatures in other directions
Ohhh, that's real good
lot of the political spells are removal/burn aka player removal effects. i think the additive rules and incentives are cooler political tools. lot of which usually involve giving cards away strategically
Hi people, I need a little help, I am in Naya colors, nad i wanna tutor [[Power Conduit]] or [[Moxite Refinery]] , but [[enlightened Tutor]] is way to expensive , any ideas ?
Artifact
,
, Remove X counters from an artifact or creature you control: Choose one. Activate only as a sorcery.
• Put X charge counters on target artifact.
• Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature.
Within moxite lies the ability for a ship's drive to pierce the Chaos Wall. Without it, the Edge becomes much smaller.

Would Azula Voltron be viable I. Bracket 4? I’ve built a few bracket 3 decks and want one that’s just a bit stronger but don’t love combo decks and trying to pull the same pieces to do the same combos over and over again, Azula is stupid strong and when testing the deck I made online I can absolutely consistently get kill 1 on turn 4 kill 2 on turn 5 and kill 3 on turn 6 if not earlier,
Just don’t want to dump money into the deck though if it’s just not going to translate to the table
Barely coming back to magic with Secrets of Strixhaven. Did the whole prerelease weekend like 5 events, and made a storm deck for standard. All the cards are from this set except thousand year storm, and i'll post ths deck later. I wanted to ask; is there a popular route to take with storm in standard? I was able to pop off a few rounds but lost to removal or infinite combos
looking for one cut for this RULE 0 deck
don't cut anything, that way you can still play your deck if people don't wanna play against Oracle of the Alpha
Lol
then if they agree to the Rule 0, just remove one card at random from the deck
I guess that’s fair
If you were to pick one card to cut, what would it be?
[[days of the undoing]]hopefully at flash speed and triple [[full throttle]] seems perfect for my taste, but still pretty far from a complete list
No card found for “days of the undoing”
Sorcery
Each player shuffles their hand and graveyard into their library, then draws seven cards. If it's your turn, end the turn. (Exile all spells and abilities from the stack, including this card. Discard down to your maximum hand size. Damage wears off, and "this turn" and "until end of turn" effects end.)
i think i have enough impulse draw to make those things happen, just not enough weird fun things to "give away"
Is there a red equivalent of [[Glory]] and [[Genesis]]? Not anger
nope glory and genesis are the only special incarnations that give activated abilities
Legendary Creature — Elemental Fox
Companion — Each permanent card in your starting deck has an activated ability. (If this card is your chosen companion, you may put it into your hand from outside the game for
as a sorcery.)
Abilities you activate that aren't mana abilities cost
less to activate. This effect can't reduce the mana in that cost to less than one mana.
,
: Target creature can't block this turn.

but still niche
Ok I need a new deck to brew. I usually don’t like green, so give me mono green commander suggestions to either make me like green or something I can do that feels ungreen.
Damn
Try [[Terrian World Tyrant]] it's a big creature for 5 mana so you probably don't want a lot of ramp and would be better off just making a mono green voltron deck or something
Is there a list of all versions of some particular effect X?
like if i wanted to find all discard to draw 2 cards
how much is a typical amount of ramp to put in a deck that has green
does 8 pieces feel like too much?
farseek, rampant growth, shared roots, cultivate, kodama's reach, harrow, skyshroud claim, traverse the outlands?
the mana curve is pretty low. 7 cards mana value 5 or higher
i could cut farseek, rampant growth and shared roots for the new prepare rampant growth body as well as the land that prepares creatures, plus an expedition map to tutor for said land so i could repeat 1 ramp each turn, but thats a lot of hoping i draw the stuff i need in the right order, and even then thats still 5 mana to ramp 1 with studious first year
It depends a lot on what you are trying to ramp into. 1 mana ramp is stronger if you wish to really have 3 mana on turn 2. On the other hand, if your commander is 4 mana, 2 mana ramp is great. If your commander costs 5, you could consider 3 mana ramp and if your commander costs more, you could run even higher mana value ramp.
In general, if you wish to see a certain type of card (like ramp) each game, you want 8-12 cards of that type.
if someone got some suggestions on how to find a new idea if after many decks already. you cant seem to find a commander that makes you happy .

Looking to build a [[Tifa, Martial Artist]] deck around Extra Combats
does anyone have some recent decklists or suggestions?
I've poked around EDHREC a bit, but using the "Average Deck" function only really highlights some staples for the deck
Legendary Creature — Human Monk
Melee (Whenever this creature attacks, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn for each opponent you attacked this combat.)
Whenever one or more creatures you control with power 7 or greater deal combat damage to a player, untap all creatures you control. If it's the first combat phase of your turn, there is an additional combat phase after this phase.

Looking to get feedback on my deck, intentionally do run not any tutors or meta cards
https://archidekt.com/decks/20327420/sigarda_font_of_blesing
because edhrec ?only? find stuff other people used in their builds so you are going to end up with a generic deck
unless you have no idea what to do, i think its easier to avoid what you see on edhrec and come up with things unique to your own brew
@leaden fossil I seen your post in fix my comander deck Eris, roar of the storm. is a
nice token generator that is also an elemental and rall crackling wit is a good token generating planeswalker.
@leaden fossil cutting the goblin electromancer for Ashling, rekindled might be a better cost reduction but only for spells bigger than 4
So, I’m working on a [[! Graaz, unstoppable juggernaut]] deck, but what’s a good colorless Landbase? I’m either gonna mix Waste & Snow Waste or do all Snow Waste + Extraplanar Lens
you can do lot of utility lands rather than trying to get that one extraplanar lens
because lot of colourless has at least "enters untapped, surveil 1" and also every "man lands" can become a super low cost 5/3 creature that can ALSO block by not attacking
Pondering a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck headed by Giodd from Final Fantasy; is [[! seven dwarves]] a nice tech, or trash but funny?
Gameplay wise, what sort of artifact-focused commanders have people liked? [[Mendicant Core]]and [[Lady Octopus]] both looked interesting, and there's a lot of support from the turtles set oddly enough.
Legendary Artifact Creature — Robot
Mendicant Core's power is equal to the number of artifacts you control.
Start your engines! (If you have no speed, it starts at 1. It increases once on each of your turns when an opponent loses life. Max speed is 4.)
Max speed — Whenever you cast an artifact spell, you may pay
. If you do, copy it. (The copy becomes a token.)
*/3
Legendary Creature — Human Scientist Villain
Whenever you draw your first or second card each turn, put an ingenuity counter on Lady Octopus.
: You may cast an artifact spell from your hand with mana value less than or equal to the number of ingenuity counters on Lady Octopus without paying its mana cost.
0/2
Thinking about swapping off [[rivaz of the claw]] for my dragon deck, any suggestions for other rakdos dragon commanders?
Legendary Creature — Lizard Warlock
Menace
: Add two mana in any combination of colors. Spend this mana only to cast Dragon creature spells.
Once during each of your turns, you may cast a Dragon creature spell from your graveyard.
Whenever you cast a Dragon creature spell from your graveyard, it gains "When this creature dies, exile it."

Found another reason to love [[Primo the unbounded]], let's me do [[nanogene conversion]] shenegeins. Anything that isnt being buff is now a 0/0
Legendary Creature — Fractal Wolf
Trample
Primo enters with twice X +1/+1 counters on it.
Whenever one or more creatures you control with base power 0 deal combat damage to a player, create a 0/0 green and blue Fractal creature token. Put a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the damage dealt.

I'm working on my Breya [[Simulacrum Synthesizer]] deck and planning to run one "Make a Tolarian Academy" Card, so which is the stronger card between [[Storm the Vault]] and [[Uthros, Titanic Godcore]]?
Legendary Enchantment

, Sacrifice this token: Add one mana of any color.")
At the beginning of your end step, if you control five or more artifacts, transform Storm the Vault.
Vault of Catlacan
Legendary Land

: Add one mana of any color.
: Add
for each artifact you control.

Quick question to the stack,... my friends if i have a reanimation spell that has "jumpstart" (lets you cast it from the graveyard by discarding a card in addition.
Can i target the discarded card if its a creature that i wanna reanimate?
no, targets are chosen before costs are paid. as you are choosing targets for the spell you will have announced you want to cast it by discarding a card, but you will not yet have paid that cost and the card is still in your hand
Hi people. I am looking to improve a deck, but I need to know which online tools you use to share decks. I have a text file, but it is ordered from A to Z, and not by card type.
if you wanna build or share decks i find the best to be "MOXFIELD"
You can also import your text file decklist there !
Personally I prefer uthros just because the setup feels a bit easier being in a land slot and leaving open another slot but really it depends on how many creatures you run and how easily you can station it because an atrifact deck can probably get to 5 artifacts at Lightspeed but not necessarily tap down 12 power
I ended up getting Uthros on the virtue of my LGS having an Uthros for sale xD
I've drawn it a couple of times and realized I kind of need a mana sink for it because most of my deck is cheap
Aha ofc
https://moxfield.com/decks/q66KbkFGD0Gs8T3BD6pB6w
I'm still working on the lands but this is my decklist ATM
Yeah looks good uthros feels like A good pick in here on the virtue of the fact that you have like 34 creatures. Rest of the deck looks good too
Anyone wanna check my deck? I'm trying to keep it within my budget which is low. Any of the expensive (more than $1) cards in the list I own already except for Robe of Stars and Deadeye Navigator.
Goal is voltron with flicker value and control in the meantime. Phasing out the commander to keep her around.
Aiming to be at least able to play with 3s, but I don't think it can handle strong 3s.
