Yes
Come onnnn
Scripts come to me
@fast anchor sorry for ping but i think you know ball
Thanks
Thank uuuuuuuuu
Gave +1 Thanks to @fast anchor (current: #1 - 3385)
[6/2] Whats a niche interaction you like and wish was on more scripts?
Princess / Alhad is so underrated
it actually gives the Princess some incentive to not publicly out
or for other good players to bluff Princess

(we have atheist at home)

Technically they can get any name other than the most helpful, but I'd rule one that just isn't helpful at all

This 2 together is funny too
Is pretty overpowered, but completely fair in Teensy where there's only two Demons on script one of which is Vortox.
Knight information here just divides the town in half, one side potentially having the Vortox and other side potentially having the other demon
it's the same in any script with a minion that can disrupt it
the problem here is that these are two characters that don't appear on scripts

I mean don't put a Knight in a solo Vortox script, but I like the interaction if paired up with, say, Pukka, Lleech and Vigormortis
I prefer 'exactly not the most helpful' since I think that otherwise a HP can often solo-solve for vortox and it has highly reversible information (ie, oftentimes would see evil players etc)
The unfortunate thing is "if it is vortox, the demon is exactly one of two people" is incredibly powerful information that has no way of being de-confirmed, unless there's a drunk on script
Nah, I'd send her to the Mayor N1, the alive Banshee N2, somebody with the wrong world N3, the Scarlet Woman with a bluff N4, etc
I think seeing a banshee is oftentimes a useful character to see, depending on the demon type
Yes, but usually not THE most helpful
I literally sent a HP to the banshee n1
In the most recent game that I ST'ed
Which was also the same night that a Seamstress used their ability
My main focus when I think about sending HP to people (and my players know this) is I much prefer pointing the HP to people to do stuff with them in a social way, rather than 'the most powerful' mechanical information. I know this is technically not what the token says, but I think that it leads to more fun games and means that things like the FT with a yes on the demon doesn't get confirmed by the HP the same night (ie, resulting in super swingy games with confirmed information)
I despise and completely advocate against sending High Priestess only ever to good layers with correct information
But I must admit sometimes, that's just the best conversation they will have day 1

or

really? I think having the two on the same script tends to be pretty unfun since a Butler with a Zealot master is just a blank token
would love to hear your thoughts
no i think it’s terrible on paper
i only talk about it here because i had to settle with it for one of my scripts due to no other good options, and it spawned an ongoing joke in my server
icic
either way, it’s not like, terrible
it’s just not good from a design perspective
the butlers have fun though

I think we all agree on "Each night, choose a player (not yourself). You vote if, and only if, they are voting.
yeah i’m the butler
✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋🫳✋
the
bluffing
:
ig Xaan is on the script so it’s not all bad
i’d like to see some
too
or

Your they are voting?
I like
/
on a script with relatively low execution survival. I've recently been running a script with the two and fool and almost every time I do a paci save, town believes it to be that way correctly and I'm yet to see a DA protect be interpreted as a paci save (other than when paci was a bluff)
I think that people generally think pacifist is an outsider and I understand why, but I think that with good STing and effective scripting, it works really well, even with DAs in play
(ik its on BMR but I've come around to the interaction more recently, and I think that it's even better with less execution survival)
they should read my article,

Shuts down an annoying pattern of play involving executing Atheist claims immediately and therefore discouraging evil claiming Boomdandy. The first and only time I've bothered to try to fake being Atheist was with a Boomdandy on script.
Also, voting for the ST in a Boomdandy explosion (which may or may not require bootlegging) while repeatedly announcing that you're not the Boomdandy is amusing.
May I read? Idk if I've read it already and I just internalised it or if I haven't and come to a similar conclusion to you on my own
No idea what you're talking about :))
omg blooprints,,,
this is on my legion script

xaan is a reason you might not to send a nwm ping on n1 no info and rather save to grt the ping thru
-
allows evil to reasonably claim they didnt receive a ping without being hard pushed by the nwm
nwm didn't need the nerf
like literally every other conf role needs it
but like nwm is genuinely "give a player a steward ping"
wow
this is true but nwm works in vortox too
I mean
also being a steward and having a ping on someone else is a lot different from them having the ping on you
yeah it's not great with vortox
it's probably stronger than steward, but like
your role is genuinely just telling someone you're good
1 guy
not public
Xaan prof is kinda peak tho
the only other confirmation role i can think of on the top of my head is banshee
which need to die
virgin prof
you turn a member of the good team into a vote token for good
still confirmation just at a price
in return for both ur confirmation
nwm gets 1 conf on them
i like virgin on spy scripts preferably
the other person isn't confed whatsoever but they don't need to
well yes
id say the price is fair
exactly
NWM is just weaker than virgin
but with no price
it also isn't townwide conf
so 2 evils can bluff it together
fair point
I will also reference Grandma BMR
which kinda just does the same thing but it's both ways because well
1/14 chance of getting it right moment
thats something i dont like with bmr
i also dont like professor like at all
i tend to forget about it
and i dont think ive scripted it once
it needs exe survival or boffin spy
Prof works because the d1 executee isn't always
dead
so shab can bluff prof kinda ok
but yeah prof is bmr's virgin
another issue i have with prof is that like
most people who are dead at the beginning of bmr with like
the sole exception of zombuul and maybe assassin
are gonna be good
most of the time
lowkey evil skill issue
we need spent gfs going for science to fail
or just straight up d1 mm win lmaooo

If the Demon player is likely to want to keep the Lunatic thinking they're a Demon for a while, you can essentially turn yourself into a Lycanthrope by leading the Demon kills while also helping the real Lunatic figure out what they are by drunking them
I think Nightwatchman is most interesting with Xaan, tbh. +2
I love the interaction between those two, and I think it's really fun to have the decision of "do I hold until later to see if I can send it after any sensible Xaan number, or do I use it and potentially be a potential evil player bluffing NWM but have the Xaan number locked down?"
Wait 4 nights to save it and the Demon kills you Night 4
Yes! NWM is best when the Steward ping is only half of the value, and the real benefit is determining whether or not you're drunk.
most powerful townsfolk btw
broken
you instantly confirm all outsiders unless evil hurries to double claim them
just make the outsider suite hermit damsel drunk recluse
/j
but yeah oops i honestly didnt think about that during my game and it lowkey d1 was an occurance
i think is fun
also

i would like to see a competently constructed script with the old alch behavior of learning the incorrect ability. i have a bootlegged script with the jinx "The Alchemist learns what ability they have. They may learn information or wake according to the ability they incorrectly believe they have."
still none of these as much as

i think without your bootleg its kinda obvious no?
wait
actually lowkey nvm
to be specific i like alchemist a lot in an environment where there are a lot of fail conditions for it. in these environments the alch actually works as a townsfolk with an incredibly potent minion ability, that is balanced by the fact it is subject to the evil team's interference and good's lack of coordination
, along with my bootlegged
: "The Scarlet woman is in play" and
imo have quite some potential
i like the way vortox adds a solvable additional fail condition. i have vortox+ND scripted on alch currently and i think it works pretty interestingly
i might even consider scripting preacher into it, even if its a rather questionable character. i do like the dichotomy of a preacher possibly being poisoned after choosing outed evils/alch claims or them just actually being an alchemist
getting preacher psycho to function scriptwise would be rather funny

I'm surprised I haven't seen a script with these 2 yet
seems like a great synergy between 2 characters who are usually considered "weak"
I do quite like that
I recently thought I had the pit-hag ability and the storytellers were making a mistake or amnesiac shenanigans by letting me choose a player N1 as a Tea Lady
Then, knowing I was gonna die at night, I tried to turn myself into the farmer.
Then I cried.
i dont follow

i just dont see where tea lady comes in play here tbh
I chose my neighbour as Tea Lady, thinking I was pit-hagging them
I was actually making them mad
ah
