My game last night was a crazy custom but drawing the Baron token meant I had a grand old time just lying to everyone ^^

is an extremely interesting You Start Knowing character, mostly because it's info is so up to interpretation. There's this interesting dichotomy between knowing 3 players that you know for certain contains 1 evil player, and knowing 3 players that you know at most 1 of which is evil.

Noble also plays very interesting both with deaths into their pings and without. There's this interesting question of which evil players and which good players to show the Noble. Noble plays so interestingly with false info. There's a lot of reasons to hide as a Noble, or to be forthcoming. Best of all, basically anything anyone learns gets more interesting in the context of a Noble ping! It has a lot of interesting interactions, and it appears on a ton of scripts, so you're never ever short of opportunities to be this character!

politician is a very nuanced role that produces misinformation and a lying player that is still comfortable playing for good. you can bluff influential roles such as chef, clockmaker, shug, or flowergirl to build highly aggressive and completely farcical worlds, and push exes on completely random players. you really generally dont care if the players youre obliterating are evil or good since if theyre good youll proooobably flip at the end. if you ever get caught in your lies you can just out and thatll also somewhat help your good team out and give you a pretty decent chance of winning. its an interesting role that keeps a pretty high winrate
