There is barely anything gameplay related added. Some good stuff like Match3 MP, Pet exploration just stopped. Aircraft missions are done and dusted.
The lack of gameplay is what we should crib about more.

1: the more you advance in the game the more you step back, let's imagine a player who has spent 100,000 credits so far and who realizes it, he decides to calm his expenses. Now let's imagine another player who has spent 2000 credits so far and he decides to put more money into the game from now on and in new technologies (you see where I want to go). The first player will simply say to himself "be burned by a player at 3000 (2000+1000 of his new investments) Rrrrrrrr"

2: there are none, if I do the little 2 I would have to write a 400-page book

I know a lot of players who sepnt a lot of money in first year of the game, specifically a "whale" who spent $250K.

He stopped, within a few months I with having spent less than 5% of it was able to kill him.

Morale of the story:

• Noone lives forever
• Taste it like a fine wine, don't gulp it all away
• Stat curve is exponential not logrithmic, longer you stay, less you pay.

The difference just keeps getting bigger. Back in the VVV days we fought them in RR and I could easy survive a couple of hits from their strongest. Now I can get burned from players that are not even in top 100 strength.

Effortless progress is good, but needs update.

I am not sure the context of "back in days" in terms of actual months but if you say 8-9 months, a lot more players have crossed Collection 85, more players in SVIPs (3+), the HFD, dmg from combat morale are more easily obtainable.
All this have contributed to powergap.

Your math isn't mathing.

You require maxed gen 1 & gen 2 vehicle (berserk) to get a mech. Berserk being latest vehicle would be having the least progression on average for smallest folks.

The frags not being recomped doesn't inhibit a whale, only approx 600 frags to go for most to get red maxed tanks done. Compared to what ..2k+ for others between gen 1/2 tanks? 👀

When the average retention period of a player is 2 years, and the average time to max without paying is 2.5, that's a soft paywall.

Behemoths , formation system and vehicles are easiest examples. Pets and mecha are gonna be worse.

They force payments while trying to pose as f2p friendly. If 1 thing takes 2.5 years to max free, that's okay, when 9 out of 15 game items do so, that's ...fart+ games.

The issue is simply this, 1-2 items having that timeline ensures the gap, ensures definite hierarchy is maintained.

You do it across every item, without meaningful acceleration in availability, you yourself pave the road for massive devaluation for whales. Cuz power creep gets built in there to keep only whales competing against each other.

If instead there was a meaningful push from the floor, value would be incurred from across the spending tiers. Less pressure on whales too. Cuz when money is flowing, heavy power creep stuff doesn't get pushed as badly.

The slowness in the movement allows room for tactical movements, shadow march, ghost, tip of spear. Not saying that it cannot be done with normal speed but since capital area is quite big, people on farther corners can also do that getting that extra time.

Would be very difficult to do the tip of a spear if rallies are same speed as normal marches.

However real downside of slowness is that 1-min rallies are not possible in Capital area because joiners won't be able to reach the RL's HQ, without using speedies.

Oh and i need the gen2 as well. So they're literal combiners. Shame thats a gen2 vehicle and therefore almost impossible for most players

I am so baffled why FUNPLUS fails in gameplay.

This is how I would design it.

• cap players travel miles per day as well as simultaneous trades, which can be increased via migo researches
• some routes give more tokens but need extra miles, means more time
• there are some risky routes which have chances of getting looted by zombie bandits, resulting in less tokens
• you do upgrades to your caravans to prevent loots via migo research
• player makes strategic choices basis on these factors, and it's a mini game in itself.

After getting 2 med kits, and 100 frags you breed a pet. Then power bites to nurture it. That merely unlocks a base level skill.

Upgrading skill after purchasing a skill comes next. This is 1 singular feature. And it's not a game changer. But it takes 6+ months of good luck at random events to just unlock free.

Do this for everything, waiting 5-6 months to get 5% stats 🤣

SoS takes concept of hiding the benefits to a shameless level that they dont want to tell upfront what the maxed outcome would look like.
But rather relies on seasonal weights to make them OP or UP.

Now they are sending players into a wild goose chase with no end in sight.
Every guy in this game (whales or F2Ps) are months away from seeing Mecha in its full form. I think Mid-spenders and F2P shouldn't even look at it.

The hybrid style for Lara croft is perfect, F2Ps can Reso 4 in the event, mid spenders can max out skills + Reso 7, WHales go for Specops.

Asymmetry is good. But there has to be purpose of doing things. And that purpose should be keep varying.

I mean look at trap, its meaningless, ok, you get decent rewards.
But difficulty is same as how it was 2 years ago. You play it as you did 2 years ago, albeit with different heroes.
There are no match modifiers to keep it fresh, like Fiend gains a shield on attacks. or he disables a march and then different heroes need to be used.

If you look at Aircraft missions, just that simple green jelly used to make one stage different from other and challenging.

Thats game adjustment to match progression. They don't do any of that now. As players get stronger you supply a difficulty ramp. Or mechanics that they have to counter. Fp don't do that. They just release a new gacha event with the latest statues in it then charge money

The new formats made are used to prevent any type of feedback being made. The first layout was perfect but with so many available options devs decided to do the second one so that all feedbacks are AI response but when the secret menu came out then they had to make this new current format to offset that so people dont know how to make bug reports and such unless they learn the key words.

Usually after 24 hrs, even my absolute crappiest account is on level 11 🤣 so it's more complex than a simple compensation.

There are many things Devs could do to atleast help facilitate the fun for mid and lower player. The could scrap inlistment make every event all troops back....they cut reduce the insane amount of healing days. They could give a 50% troop hide bunker maybe so always left with troops to play if hit while having fun...there many things they could do to engage players back in to playing

There is a bunch they could do. HQ hits could be JUST the wall march and not everything in the hq. You win and set it burning but it should still take you 60+ hits to actually zero someone. HQs could have a 4000% bonus on defence. Its a walled citadel after all. Attacks could suffer losses and wounds before reaching combat. My hq has a big cannon on it. Completely useless. Losses could be a morw guaranteed % of any hq hit. None of this lose 5 troops thing. Lose 75k no matter the level of the hq you hit. Adjust points so they're multiplied by the hq level that you hit. All sorts of manipulations are possible

I don't think that much went into it. Thats a symptom, not a cause. The cause is just that its cobbled together and little instruction is given to the mods on how to truly manage it. Thats not coming from fp, its just the result of a bunch of volunteers doing something

Pet breeding is the same. Power bites isn't available without purchasing and you need approx 300 of it. So that's anywhere between 400-500 bucks depending on luck.

Last nexus and the previous one , once an alliance lost their Checkpoint infront of their main building they were not only lock inside but they also couldn't attack. now with new nexus they cannot port out but they can still attack. Make it make sense. Their is also nothing in the rules unless i missed it that says each new city is a checkpoint for them to be able to come out
