You can test it, as I mentioned, before shield is getting removed you get an automatic message that tells that it will be removed.

I can understand working on one of these heroes even as f2p. Before the Devs made changes to the stores, those frags were really easily accessible to f2p so long as they actually grinded it out and played the event. Like dangling a carrot in front of a hungry horse. Then those changes came through to the stores and it completely changed this path f2p were trying to be on. That’s definitely frustrating to experience. 😐

that could be a bug. can you try restarting the game? or try to repair game (make sure you have your account binded first)
