Is there any benefit to not setting marches on trains? Some people don't set marches.
If there is no benefit, then why doesn't the game developer automatically add the strongest marches to the train to prevent this problem (forgetting to add marches to the train)?

Either, merge with another alliance so you become a stronger alliance together, making you harder to hit as the retaliation would be a lot worse for them.

Hitting their tiles, smaller players, trying to overstep them in events, burning their trucks, taking their deploys etc

Then there's also a psychological aspect or getting into their heads, could change your name to poke fun, make an alt to do the same, poach some of their players to see if they would leave and join you.

If you cant beat an alliance or player then you have to outsmart them

Luckily, often the strongest and bullies tend to be dumb as hell
