Ok in all honesty they technically didn't break copyright law only IF they did the following:

Coded it themselves and used their own design from scratch and not a template

Distinctive features, lore, and gameplay from accused copyrighted game

Pretty much all I can think of

I can only imagine that they'll only take action if it's too similar.

I remember playing ripoffs and they copy the Stick War formula, even though they have their own distinct lore, gameplay, etc.

Such gimmicks I'm referring to are having statues that are your win or lose conditions.

I mean... For example: tower defense games try to not let enemies get into your base and there are hundreds of them that don't get sued

There are many loopholes and the best thing the stick War Dev Team can do is outstand and put their income/revenue way ahead of the ripoffs so they can still earn good money even with a lot of copycats

they are just the remnants of the Elite Leaders who just picked up volcanic rock as new armor because sometimes it would deal twice the damage
