Btw i was thinking : is the lotus trying to enable her shield inside the duviri paradox but it explode directly because of the void exposure ? Since it's a cut hand that's why she shot a "star" to help the drifter. Also the color may have pushed back the void exposure for a little moment and that's why we can see color for a moment.
In TNW we can see that she was able to "protect" the tenno against wally, even tho it was the sheer force of his appearance i wonder if she is strong enough to stand him.

Long story short

The arcanes follow a clear pattern of diminishing return, increasing the stat by that of r0 each time.
The exception in this list being Lockdown, which nosedives at r4 so hard I had to write the fraction to represent the increase from r3.

There's not enough to comfortably assume all Arcanes abide by this pattern, but it is at least consistent across the factions you obtain them from.

I plan to do a more comprehensive list later down the line, but if it is as consistent as it is here it might be faster to list the Arcanes that don't adhere to the norm.

I'm aware most people would rather jump to max rank with these, but with how a lot of Arcanes ask for 21 of each for that I figured it would help to have a sense of if the next increase would be worth it or if the grind should stop there. Excepting arcanes farmed for Grofit of course.

Does anyone else think that the premise of Veilbreaker would have been the perfect way to reintroduce raids to the game? Before finishing The New War I was almost willing to put money on getting Praghasa as a new playable area (though the Zariman was a welcome surprise) and/ or a raid dealing with the aftermath of the quest. Veilbreaker already gives us the basic premise of a Narmer Murex still in operation as a location, raid bosses in the Archons (for the sake of gameplay they would need new mechanics to make them raid boss worthy, and this could be explained lore-wise in that Sentients are always adapting and the Archons adapted from their defeat by the Drifter), and a final raid boss in a modified Erra. Throw in some raid mechanics for each fight, and maybe one or two non-boss encounters and I think you would have a solid raid.

What we know about the Man in the wall is that he's been stuck inside the void and has several times tried to get out with Albrecht, Rell and now succeeding thanks to Ballas. He tends to take the form of kids and is super childish such as his dorking around on the orbiter. But his true figure is a giant wall that is suspiciously grey-scaled.

Then on to the creepy Dominus guy. He's very clearly a child living inside some sort of paradoxical greyscale world that he's created. It's not clear if he can leave that place but given what I know of the void, one does not simply walk into leave the void. I wanna guess that he can't unless a portal opens like the one Ballas made.
Dominus is the title of a ruler/master in the roman era, and Thrax is known as the demigod son of Ares (god of war). Which does seem pretty intentional when you consider his weird powers over Duviri.
(Also side note, the Thrax in the Zariman are all leaking in from Duviri. They've even got different roman titles too like Centurion.)

So I've got a couple weirdo theories but putting the pieces together:
Thrax is in the greyscale voidscape Duviri. He's hinted to have demigod like control over duviri. He's a child.
Man in the wall is a greyscale being from the void. He's shown he has god-like abilities, often changing his shape into that of a child. He acts like a child.
Thrax mentions that he should leave Duviri around the same time that MITW leaves the void. My theory, and it's a bit far-fetched but... what if they're the same being?

While it's def the an idea about manifestations, manifestations of the void are echoes of other things. They cannot shape the void, just exist in it. So Thrax having direct control over Duviri means he can't just be a void manifestation of thoughts/emotions. He's too strong for that.

the Zariman was the first colony vessel. Other explorers had entered the void, but I didn't get the impression that a pregnant woman would have gone in there. Everyone who went into the void went crazy so it'd be a miracle if an abandoned baby survived all on its own
