I’m slowly catching up on the main story quests. Been playing off and on since 2016, taking my time with the game and just enjoying the experience. I’ve recently started playing more these past couple months.

The New War quest was a blast. I loved it. Just all the different characters and threads coming together was awesome.

I also finished the Jade quest a few weeks ago, and man the story keeps getting better and better. I really enjoyed the Duviri quest as well. I’m going to do the Lotus Eater Quest after the event is over.

Could someone explain to me why during new war ballas and erra appear to be sharing power, and then erra starts acting as subservient to ballas? I mean, doesn't erra holds all the power in this relationship? He controls the sentients, and ballas lost his usefulness after "hacking" Lotus... Is there something i'm missing here?

I felt some disconnect between what they presented Erra as, and then what Erra is at the end of new war. He's presented as this menacing sentient commander, willing to do anything to win. His scenes at the start of new war further expands him as this ruthless bringer of war, then later they try to paint him as this misunderstood victim of ballas manipulations?

I mean, good point. But most frames don't need them cause their abilities make the boost of those unnecessary, like having built in shield gating or health tanking or energy regen. Question about daggers / finisher weapons.
I am doing daily Simaris standing farm with his daily target + Mars-Hellas extermination node on Steel Path for the rest.
I am using Ivara (perma stealth) + Innodem with the build above and the question is - is there a better build i could use or a different weapon to one shot eximus units?
Right now I one tap every normal unit with finisher attack except for the eximus ones (only takes down the overguard). Not much of a deal breaker but was wondering if there is something better.

I theorize that Sirius and Orion are the very reason why their father abandoned them in their version of history, they succeed in taking him to the future/killing him which results in them being abandoned in the past, creating their own situation where they need to take him/kill him

idk if any of DE is listening into this chat, but just in case they are, it would be really nice if the apostacy prologue was replayable... the first time i played it i had no captions on and had no idea what ballas was saying... i was confused as heck and just kept aimlessly jumping around until it ended and left me even more confused as to what just happened... i'd really love to be able to experience it properly and really hear what he had to say now that i know it was probably something important to the lore.

even if i were to read a transcript... or watch a recording of someone else playing it their first time... it wouldnt be the same as being able to experience it properly for myself... theres just something about playing a quest personally... even as one as short and dialogue focused as that... that just cant be replicated by other means... the interactive aspect is lost or something

and i know DE has the technical capability to unlock quests for replaying. they could make literally every quest in the game replayable if they chose to. idk why they havent done so already...

I reworked both my Drifter and my Operator's faces to try to better match them up. Will grab screen shots when I get home, but I think I got it okay? Will find out in.... Uh... 5.5-6ish hours lol

Practice. Practice bullet jumping, dodge rolling, aiming, etc... Everything in the game you practice using will help. 😄

i've gotten good at bullet jumping but all i know is go fast and use funny katana

In that case, practicing with different guns and melee weapon types could be a good spot. Projectile vs. hitscan, for instance. Getting a feel for the different mechanics in the game goes a long way. 🙂

Practice charging and firing Nataruk, then. Perfect shots (firing just before it reaches max draw) hit like trains.

perfect shots do some damage but not enough to make them go down in 2 minutes (that's how long it takes for me to kill bosses normally)

You can interrupt their healing in different ways, based on the Archon. 🙂

I would say try not to spam healing. Save it for when you really need it, since you can also get health orbs from other enemies you kill.

Don't forget to also stealth and scan at appropriate times, too. 🙂
