The following rules act in tandem with the EULA, TOS, and our Guidelines found on our Support site.

Breaking any or all of these rules may result in an official warning, kick, or permanent zero-tolerance ban from this server, so don't do that!

1. Listen to Moderators and Staff

If a <@&778745217037238293> , <@&563532668222832655> , or <@&552968416810762240> individual asks you to stop doing something in chat - listen. If you have any concerns over what they have told you, reach out to #modmail.

For many rule infractions, we will try to let you know in chat before we ever give a warning. If you are told in chat to stop doing something, that is the Moderator or Staff Member saying “Hey, if you keep doing that I have to give you a warning, so stop doing that.”

2. Speak in English

Please keep posts in English unless otherwise specified. It can be difficult for us to accurately moderate messages that are not in English, so we will remove any conversations in other languages.

3. Respect Others

Respect Others: Harassment, rude comments, and hate speech will not be tolerated in the PlayWarframe Discord Server. Anyone who discriminates or bullies based on race, sexual orientation, disability, skill-level, or anything else to make someone else uncomfortable in the Warframe community will be removed from the server.

This server has a zero tolerance policy towards hate speech.

A few examples that break Rule 3:

• Getting around chat filters to use racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic terms.
• Calling others names to bully them and make them feel unwelcome
• Intentionally trying to make another Tenno upset

4. Quality Standards

Quality Standards: Conversation should be thoughtful, on-topic, and constructive when participating in channel discussions. Spam, inappropriate/offensive content, blatant advertising or self-promotion, developer bashing, and wildly off-topic content are not welcome. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from posting AI generated content within this Discord server.

Please keep discussion to Warframe and Warframe related topics, including media posted in discussions.

A few examples that break Rule 4:

• Posting gifs, videos, or images that are not related to Warframe or the current conversation.
• Posting Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content
• Starting entirely off-topic conversations
• Posting your own YouTube videos for others, unprompted.
• Posting images or content generated by an AI

5. Respect Privacy

Respect Privacy: Do not publicly disclose your personal information or anyone else’s. Examples include phone numbers, addresses, locations, IP addresses, selfies, and anything else that can be used to identify a user outside of the Warframe community. This includes for Tenno who are travelling during a TennoVIP or TennoCon!

Remember that our chats are visible to everyone, so personally identifiable information could be viewed by anyone in the world. This rule is for safety reasons and we take it very seriously!

A few examples that break Rule 5:

• Posting a link to your home
• Posting your EE.Log or IP Address
• Posting a selfie
• Saying “Hey guys, I’m staying at this hotel for TennoCon, come say hi!”

6. Do Not Discuss Moderation

Do not discuss In-Game Support Issues, or Discord, Forums, or any other Moderator actions. For issues with the Discord Moderation team, please reach out to Digital Extremes at #modmail. For issues with any other Moderation or In-Game Support, please reach out to Support at https://support.warframe.com .

Please note that ModMail cannot address any issues with your In-Game Account, and will direct you to Support.

7. No Profanity

No Profanity: Swearing and vulgarity, even when censored, will not be tolerated.

We have extensive chat filters to remove swearing. Working around these filters IS breaking this rule - just because a mis-spelling is not being filtered does not mean you are allowed to use it to swear!

Please reach out to #modmail if you believe there is a word we missed in our chat filters.

8. No Sharing Leaked Information

Do not promote or share leaks or data-mined information. Leaked or data-mined information has a tendency to be inaccurate, made up, or implemented in an entirely different way than presented from a leak. Please keep discussion about upcoming content limited to the information that Digital Extremes has shared officially.

9. Never Impersonate Staff

Never Impersonate Staff: Anyone who falsely claims to be a Moderator or Digital Extremes Staff will be removed from the server. <@&778745217037238293>s have a light-blue name and a Moderator icon beside their name. <@&563532668222832655> members have a Pink name and a [DE]Team icon beside their name. <@&552968416810762240> members have a Purple name and a [DE]Community icon beside their name.

Digital Extremes Staff will never ask for your password or send you a link to click on in a DM. If you have won a Giveaway, we will always reach out and ask for your In-Game Alias and the Platform you play Warframe on. You can always reach out to #modmail for any concerns.

10. Do Not Ping Staff

Please avoid pinging Staff (anyone with <@&552968416810762240> or <@&563532668222832655>) unless they are actively participating in chat.

Here is what to do if you need help:

• If Digital Extremes Staff is active in chat, you can talk to them! If they can’t help they may point you elsewhere, but they’re good for telling you where to go.
• If there are no Digital Extremes Staff in chat:
  • For immediate Discord issues (such as a Scam bot posting in chat), use the <@&778745217037238293> tag.
  • For issues which require Digital Extremes Staff, reach out to #modmail. ModMail is monitored by Digital Extremes Staff, and is kept separate so your message can easily be found.
  • For in-game account issues, reach out to Support at https://support.warframe.com

11. Please Avoid Spoilers

Please avoid spoilers in general discussion channels! Some Tenno are still new to the game, and we don’t want to spoil any major story content for them! If you’re going to have a story discussion, head to one of our channels where spoilers can fly free! #lore-discussion and #spoiler-chat are both great for spoilery discussions!
