Not directly but the Tenno Clans (and thus, many other Tenno) play an important part of the story outside of quests (which are solo), including the Operations that follow up on quests.

This was more obvious back in the day when we had a lot of story delivered through Operations, plus the Fortuna ARG

There’s also the Old Peace CYOA ARG, which while not in the game directly talked about other Tenno and their mission on Tau, as well as had you contacted in (pre-written) messages by the last remaining Tenno of the squad shown in it
