Most likely and they aren't like the warframes we know their bodies are from the Grey strain another strain of helminth that allows the person to still have control over humanity
Messed up thought.... head transplant
Nah
I'm honestly wondering if the desert like area of sanctum is some type of void in tau
Got me wondering because of Wally showing up after Ballas opened the gate to Tau
Maybe, but why would she have them and not arthur?
Nah that’s just Wallys influence over Albrechts labs
The labs are still in Deimos
Maybe they’re hidden by his hair. But if he doesn’t, thennn idk lol
They don't use gray strain in 1999 unless something new has been revealed
He doesn’t, idk why they’d need somatics at all so 🤷♀️
We’ll see when the quest comes out lol
We can clearly use Transference on them though
And if anybody tries to argue and say you can't. Go back and look at a part of whispers in the walls
The Operator didn’t actually pilot Arthur during that 1999 segment. The Operator was just seeing Arthurs pov
Yes but that has nothing to do with them having somatics…
The tenno aren’t in 1999, the protoframes are
There’s no reason for the 1999 crew to have or use transference
.
What else would they be used for?
Find out when the quest comes out. Or maybe at Tennocon
Somatics only have one known purpose, transference
It’s more likely the metal on Aoi is just metal bits for style
But I could also be wrong about this whole thing and Aoi just has those on for armor or whatever reason
Tend to agree
I’m more curious about whether or not there’s a 1999 Volt
Was there name said during Whispers?
no.
F
Yeah, the name ||Quincy ||was mentioned.
there we go.
We still used transference. I'm gonna use Ballas as an example. He says the tenno were just the minds and Arthur says "Aoi it feels like there's someone in my head"
Ballas talks about the tenno being the mind in the vitruvian entry during the sacrifice
Fair enough. Hopefully it gets brought back up and explained during 1999 if that isn’t the case
Glad I don't need to share more
Especially because I gladly would
But how could the tenno have moved the warframe while being choked unless the warframe managed to move because of the operator being in trouble which i feel like isn't likely because the warframe would've saved the tenno before Ballas stabbed us
Ballas stabbing us-New war scene within the heart of praghasa
That's what I'm still confused about😭
I think the warframe removing the War sword was a survival instinct, like a reflex. It wasn't the Operator doing it nor was it evidence of conscious warframe activity. The warframe protected itself as best as it could. That's just my personal theory though.
Were this to be true, then it also makes sense why the warframe didn't intervene during The New War – it wasn't in immediate danger.
True
I'm sure someone will eventually figure it out
I think what would confirm it is seeing our frame react to another survival situation without us
Even with awakening the tenno was controlling the warframe just from the reservoir
Yeah, I’m aware?
So what do you mean by another?
Another intense survival situation where the tenno dont have control of the frame and the frame is in danger, like during the second dream
Our frame and us waking from cryo is not that kind of situation since we’re in control of the frame
Things don't need somatics or a transference bolt for them to be transferenced into
The gen 1 rhino had neither and a tenno transfered into it
Hopefully they’ll explain what exactly is happening with transference for 1999
Cause we do seem to use it on the vessel which connects to their respective 1999 person (maybe?)
why are they replacing stalkers voice actor?
Wdym?
Stalker’s getting voiced by Gianni Matragano in Jade Shadows
Is this my blood
Yes
But who voices him currently couldn’t it be the same person?
Most likely : The quest will focus on him finding his operator "finding himself" metaphorically and not. Him having a cleaner voice will also make a big difference and make a lot of sense because he will "find himself"
Gianni is such a good pick, such an icon
Transference stream was diverted, we didnt actually transfer into the vessel
Honestly as suitable as current Stalker's voice is for the role he plays, the man also has like less than a minute of total speaking time throughout the entire game, and it doesn't sound like a very comfortable voice to be keeping up recording for an entire cinematic quest, and as Elfeist said there's also likely the Operator aspect to it
How the
@ionic sleet loid slacking

The fact that DE iirc specifically said that we're entering void arc make me think that it's...Funny that this isn't called the final arc ?
Like it means that maybe there will be more ?
This is a live service game
Like Insaiyan said live service game.
Bungie adamantly refuse that The Final Shape isn't their final Destiny expansion ever, if Warframe will continue to have a playerbase then DE will always find a way to make more stories
I would like a actually alien enemy. Cuz the sentients are still from the Orokin so is access to the Void. Like a actual alien enemy from not anywhere we knew would be cool.
Yeah, make me think what will be the next step, i guess the corpus since it's literally explicitely said in our face with so much lore from it
Like styanax, the founder,etc...
the Murmur have the potential to really give some truly alien vibes
It’s not hard to make 2 different voices as a VA I just wanna know who voices him currently as it could be a different person until we know that fact
I wouldn't be surprised if warframe will go after void arc onto the corpus arc and make it very wild
Knowing how DE tended to have a lot of in-house VAs do small roles rather than hire out someone, it could very well be the voice director or whoever doing it at the time if it was needed
Yeah but the Void is still connected to the Orokin in a way. I want a truly not seen until now invader.
Ngl
I always thought that it was weird that pazuul say that there is a hierarchy in Tau system :
The tau lord > The sentient > us
So ngl i always thought that tau lord are alien but it could also not be
The Void existed as like, a primordial force of the universe long before the Orokin tho
It could totally be possible that the Tau Lord or whatever are the natives to the Tau System
There are no aliens in Warframe and DE did it that way on purpose
Since our only real source of information about Tau is from the sentients themselves
That said I don't expect us to ever leave the Origin system even if DE somehow get desperate for new storylines 20 years down the line or whatever
IIRC orokin only said that there is an origin system but never said if there is life in here
There was a codex lore that was talking about weird ship (which are thought to be murex, but idkkk the description really feels like it was different) and a jump to tau iirc
The lords of tau aren't natives. But anyway.
We know that for a fact?
And like FACT fact and not "Facts coming from Unreliable Narrator Pazuul" facts?
The jump to tau was using the solar Rail.
I think Natah talks about it.
And I think we heard the term "Sentient lords of Tau"
Pazuul: "Above, the Lords of Tau. Below, my people. Below them, yours. And I, I shall serve as shepherd and minister."
I'm searching for more quote about this but currently only this ?
"My father severed the worlds, sundered the link we had forged with Tau in the days of our enslavement. In the darkness beyond the veil, we waited. The Lords of Tau were silent."
idk i don't find much
Maybe, if they are still sentient, they would be the closest to "aliens" as they are very far from orokin design, so very far from design of the sentient ?
I mean the beast lords before they where archons where all based on extinct Earth animals. Also I wouldn't doubt current Tua sentients being far removed from the ones we fight anyway cuz its been over 1000 years since any of then even saw us. We have only fought like 1 mahor Sentients Force. (3-4 if you wanna be technical)
What if next generation of archon are based on Tau's animals
what if
That's literally not true what I said was confirmed.
"next generation" 😭
Also the beast lords were sentients before they where archons.
Imagine if somehow sentient create new weird archon lmao or beast lord
Like a archon is literally taking a dead body of a sentient and putting it on something.
But I understand what you mean now.
But i wouldn't be surprised if they would change the sentient design if tau was ever a place to go post void arc for some reason
but it would also be surprising if they change it ngl
I already said that wouldn't be werid to me.
Cuz the sentients we fight are just hunhows.
That's it. The Eidolons are the only ones that are from a different Sentient and they look wildly different than anything hunhow has.
And all the tau sentients have been disconnected from us and the war and everything since hunhow destroyed the origin side of the solar Rail to Tua in the old war.
Even when we do Archon hunts?
Erras and thus a off shoot of hunhow.
Wasn't the Ram the one who had control over the entire system in the beginning?
beginning?
if you mean the new war that was Erra not the ram.
Nope, before the Archons were created
Before the sentients even existed
the Ram is a sentient.
What
all the like head parts of the archons are sentients that died and where then put on a body later.
Nvm, I completely wrote that wrong. Before the start of the old war
idk
Before the sentients were the way we know them
he seems to be very crazy even before he was a archon. Like there is reason he wasn't like made into a archon.
i don't think he was a "lord of tau" just a "beast lord made" from a book of old extinct terra (earth) spieces.
Pazuul says that the Ram ruled over the other Sentients (likely under Hunhow's and Praghasa's overlordship), but then again he's not super reliable, given that Pazuul is the Ram.
True
yeah.
Yeah
So at this time he's probably meaning after Narmer spread throughout the origin system
after the end of it even but yeah.
That's why I said "after narmer spread throughout the system"
Narmer still has a bit of control over the system but in the form of Pazuul
what's going on here
How'd I know it was coming🤣🤣🤣
I saw the perfect opportunity 🤣
Fr
Truly and old gem
Wow when was the last time they asked the community to not spoil like this
The last major update.
I dont remember the new war having this repetition of "dont spoil" announcements
One is the actual announcement the other is the automated bot that just reposts links
Right
The last major update was actually Duviri
Or Whispers, forgot if that was considered "major"
#announcements message There was this announcement for TNW at least
And then like two other "please use spoilers" after that
And the update specific chat as well
Wish DE kept the ARG chat
Being able to make the drifters eyes completely black is nice
So what exactly is happening?
We transfer into the vessel and the stream gets diverted to the respective 1999 person?
That was my interpretation. I think it's clear that we were intended to Transfer into the Vessel, but Loid said the stream was diverted.
I wonder if that means each Vessel is associated with an individual from 1999. Given the number of Vessels seen in the various tiles of the labs, that would mean Dr Entrati had a very large number of patients, especially if some of them weren't successful.
my theory is that stalker fked jade and got her preggers. from what the patch notes and what they showed of makes sense.
the new mission target also looks like an incubator
Doesn’t he saw in his notes he took samples from the 1999 crew and put it in the vessels?
I wonder if thats important for the transference stream diversion
Yes
Would make sense. It created a reaction with the Operator which led to them seeing 1999
gonna nick name it. "stalker baby"
As their loyal doctor, I have taken repeated samples from them. The sight of their Technocyte-riddled cells mutating gave me fresh visions. I could take this material, work with it, forge new creations. Eagerly I brought the samples back to Deimos and began to cultivate them
I’m so excited to find out more
1999 is also just gonna give us more questions than answers lol
If it doesn’t I’m banning Wally from Warframe
Fair enough
Stalker is Jade confirmed?
Or is this just promotional stuff for the new accessories
That's super cool art.
More Stalker lore btw https://www.warframe.com/news/the-stalker-a-warframe-retrospective
Ohhhh they are talking about the Naga drums.
So the Low Guardians were a mysterious caste of bodyguards
Oh yo nice
So nothing really new, but just reinforcing what we already know, which is still nice
Interestinggg
Plsslslslls be the ceremony of Naga Drums
I think Parvos is gonna be the one attacking Stalkers home in the "ascension" game mode.
Parvos wants that jade light
Yeah or just jade.
Little does he know the Nukor also exists lmao
Seems he prob witnessed jade with the naga drums at the ceremony
Reverse that.
I don't think he's gonna make any jokes but but Gianni is gonna make Stalker memes I can see it.
Jade witnessed stalker?
Stalker and jade witnessed the Naga drums.
It just connected for me who he is
w h a t
Your choice of breathing my air has consequences
Ye
I noticed they didn't mention stalker's identity crisis in the 2nd dream part of the retrospective text, maybe because it was a one time deal
they kinda talk about it in the hunhow Stalker talk.
This.
I interpret the "You know that you have run the gamut and come up short." part at the end as the stalker being pretty sure he isn't a tenno
But the wording is pretty confusing
Now this runs deep
could also be that he tried but didn't find anything
Best bit is this imo
STALKER: LET THEM COME.
Hunhow: They will, my Shadow. I only hope you are prepared. Your actions have consequences…
yeah this has been here for a while though if you go to the jade shadows page you can click the stalker symbol that appears to see this.
Ik I’m going broke
lul
Hunhow best Space Grandad for this
STALKER: LET THEM COME.
Hunhow: They will, my Shadow. I only hope you are prepared. Your actions have consequences…
Stalker:
*fked Jade
Don’t think that’s possible lol
Something I just realized. Given that Jade Shadows is about a post New War Stalker, we’re probably gonna get lines from the Origin System’s best DILF, Hunhow
We already got new lines
Spoken lines, hopefully
TNW Hunhow made me more confident in my bisexuality tbh. Something about “Vainglorious whelp” just clicked in my head
am i allowed to ask a question for devs about jade shadows? im super duper curious about something and i havent been able to ask in the streams coz life has been taking up my time lol as life does haha
you can't @ devs or anything but if you have a question one of us can maybe answer it.
You can ask a question for the devs you might not get an answer also you can only @ them if they are participating in chat
understood, i felt i should double check as i didnt want to be a neusance or a bother
what is your question? it might be easy to answer.
no shame in double checking if ur not sure
ill put a spoiler just for those who dont want to see just to be safe
okay
if it's a lore question i will probably have a answer. the answer might be we don't know but you will get an answer.
so with jade shadows. ||could it be possible that she is what the stalkers used to be before corruption? or are the stalkers just a seperate entity all together independant of teno like jade?||
yeah its lore question
im a matt pat at heart lol
Interesting theory
Stalker is a single individual, that just so happens to be a former low guardian of the Orokin, basically second rate bodyguards
Who weren’t known by the public
||stalker fked jade and she got knocked up and thats why we getting 2 auro slots for her.||
||is jade higher rank?||
We dont know
Jade is a Warframe. Thats all we know about her, until Jade Shadows comes out
uuuh....
So far as we know, Jade is just a standard Tenno that somehow got lost in Uranus’ oceans
Hell low guardian might not even be about being low rank but being subtle or stealthy
Yea I agree with that
if my fanfic is right ima go gamble in a casino.
It won’t be
||i wonder if jade will have independant thought like umbra||
I’ll give you 50 more if it’s true
Which it won’t
I'll hold you to that.
u really think so?
how do u think i feel, i have 9
Mhm. It’s also the opposite theory of mine lol. I think stalker turns into Jade at the end of the quest
Certainly not. Umbra’s ability to act independently from an Operator is built from the ground up by Ballas to eternally torment the Dax that eventually became Umbra. Also, this is spoilers chat, you don’t necessarily need to spoiler tag every post
probably not.
spoiler tags deadpan
you keep saying this you should probably stop.
I mean we’re already in spoiler chat, so I think it’s fine
its not impossible.
i think Jade and stalker could be uniqiue.
Tbf spoiler chat doesnt mean "speak in spoiler tags" but that spoilers are ok here
Also what we are doing is more speculation than spoilers
i don't think it's unlikely tbh.
i guess... im just being cautous coz im a bit on edge sorry
Nah you’re good dw
have you seen the stalker hunhow conversation? @late shuttle
its coz in the elden ring server i was in i made a prediction about ranni which ended up being true but ended up spoiling things for some new players which has always left me a bit cautious about postulation conversation lol
I see
But dont worry spoiler chat is safe
Hmm… maybe my perspective is different. I’m seeing this update as another quest to give us something to do until Tennocon and/or 1999. With this cynicism in mind, I mostly see Jade as another Warframe. Plus to your point, in the Second Dream, when Stalker has the operator in a chokehold, he hesitates. Hunhow chalks this up to the insinuation that the Stalker is hesitating because Stalker is controlled by an operator
Spoiler tags are for the main channel
uuuuh goooood question, a lot happened at once in my game coz im at the run up to new war, so everything is happening at once
it's on their site
Whats the new quest gonna be called?
not in game lul. let me get it.
Probably ‘Jade Shadows’
Definitely Jade Shadows
The quest isn't about Jade?
it's about the stalker and Jade, no?
Jade Shadows Stalker
¯_(ツ)_/¯
💀
stalker government name just dropped
https://www.warframe.com/news/the-reapers-lament @late shuttle
this is what i was talking about.
im currently working on some art for my own teno, which has a half cyborg dog as the operator. in honor of my late pup who i sadly found out passed away after a whopping 11 years as a guide dog and another 7 years of retierment
hoping to make him unique too
I read the title as indicating the quest is about the shadows cast by jade on stalker's past
oooh they could call it "Angel of the abyss"
that would go so hardcore
DE update naming conventions would indicate the quest will likely have the same name as the update
anyway click that link it has a stalker and hunhow conversation.
will do
unrelated, what do u think of a quadraped warframe?
Voruna tried that with her 4. It works well enough
yeah voruna exsits that'll probably be as close as we get.
what i want still is a necramech warframe.
Would be pretty funny
I mean i just think it could be cool like a warframe either using a mech suit to become a necramech or something.
I cant help but wanna see development bloopers of such a frame
warframe whose exalted weapon is a mech
i would pay money for that
yeah that is what i'm saying dog
I’d love to see all the approaches they could take with a mech-style frame
So a Necramech?
Yes, what I’m describing is a necramech style frame lol
Not literally utilizing a necramech, unless they made it specifically necramech themed
Necramechs are basically just heavy Warframes
Yes and no
Necramechs don’t utilize the infestation afaik
We still need a heavy artillery frame:/
Agreed
No most of them are part of the Infestation
The ones you fight
Oh those are rouge
Being taken over by the infestation and being made of the infestation are two different things lol
The ones we actively take control of aren’t infested in any way
Not Infested. They just have been on so long they don't work right anymore.
Why didn’t they just fix them?
Father built them he should know how to fix them
Depends on what the problem is
He can’t exactly go out and check on them either
He could have us do it ofc but the problem likely isn’t an easy fix, it’s likely variable
They can go outside yknow
To other flowers.
Dumb idea, but if we ever go to Tau with the base star chart in Tau can be used but, With an sp like Tau we have to have the base Tau chart completed and steel path from the origin system created
What
Just saying if it's ever gonna happen
It isn’t, Rebb has said we aren’t going to Tau
Damn
Yeah
I hope we get more missions in the origin system then that the faction is sentient
I still have cope it’ll happen in 50 years(if the games still going)
We are in the Void arc in 2035 we get the Tau arc
Tau is def a place the game could go
But there’s no in-universe reason for the Tenno to go there
For now
Probably until we overwhelm the sentients to the point they retreat back to Tau
I mean yeah, but what would the reasons be?
To stir up another war with the sentients?
I don’t know why people have an obsession with going there
Just because Pazuul and the Archons are sentients does not mean Tau would listen to them
Plus if they left why would we follow?
They'd still be causing trouble in the system from Tau
It’s admittedly a cool concept and I’d love to see how the sentients preserve their environment and how they’ve changed but we have no reason to go
Easier protovyre challenges
Maybe the Sentients need help in the future and call for us to save them or something. Or a new alien race shows up there
How?
If they leave to go to Tau then how are they causing issues in the origin system?
Still sending condrix and some sentients to the origin system
I’d prefer Warframe not do aliens
But if we’re there to help then yes, I can see that
We know Hunhow will never have control over the sentients for a while
So just stirring up a war again?
Cause the sentients in Tau totally want that and wouldn’t fight against Narmer at all
If we push the sentients in the outer terminus back to Tau they'd still do it
The Tau sentients have peace, they’re more likely to preserve that peace and I doubt they’d ask for help unless they really needed it, especially from the Tenno
We’re the weapon against them after all so their situation would have to be unbearably bad to come to us
I'm gonna use it as an example. They'd probably ask for our help if the narmer fleet attacks them
Why wouldn’t the Tau sentients fight against Narmer?
Why would they immediately join them in stirring up a war when they had peace?
Why would Narmer attack them.
Huh… I thought that the orphix’ still kicking around Corpus Railjack was a result of what I can only describe as “pressing the button when a program isn’t loading and then getting popups for the rest of time”
Narmer attacks everyone
Sentients can be seen assisting Narmer in the Archon Hunts
Narmer is ran by Pazuul, an Archon, a sentient who revers Tau
Why would he ever attack Tau?
Sentients controlled by Pazuul
Because they would want to keep the peace they've had for years
Even if Pazuul went for a power grab the sentients in Tau have the numbers, tech and time to not only fight back but win.
So to keep peace they attack Narmer?
How does that make sense, Narmer is an us problem not a Tau problem
I'm not even gonna try and explain anymore
I don’t understand your point but okay
We have no reason to go Tau
Tau has no reason to involve themselves with us
The only party who cares about Tau is Narmer, who thinks positively of Tau and wouldn’t attack it
If Pazuul and co went to Tau then they’d be free of the origin system, free of strife, they’d be a Tau problem but one they could solve, it’s unlikely we’d be required
I am curious tho how Tau looks like
Same, I understand the want to go there and see it
But unfortunately there’s no reason to go there and I don’t see any reasons we would
Tau was literally a plot device so Ballas could survive destroying the Sun
OH ! there's also ONE question that was pretty much weird but will most likely be responded in Jade's shadow (or given more clear indication on what this is)
Hunhow : But without release. Held here by a purpose i cannot abandon (he is talking about being in uranus's sea)
Maybe, it's because of the jade light ? Maybe Uranus was a specific planet where jade light could have been created ? Maybe there is something more than sharks
Jade light is likely a laser
But you know that a laser can have weird properties when its in water for example :
Jade light really feels like a particle accelerator but that can be held or a laser
I think the reason the big man(Hunhow) is trapped in Uranus’ seas is because he got damaged in the Old War, to the point where he couldn’t make physical moves, thusly trapping him. This is why he’s so fond of Gabriel Stalker, and why he tried to mess with the Weave in the Octavia’s Anthem quest
True that was the first speculation which could have also been true but...
Well sentient adapts, he could have harvested uranus's ressource and somehow make it work
So likely now that he has the "purpose" that he cannot abandon it will surely be about jade and the new gamemode
I think this quest will leave us more question about Tau and respond lightly for hunhow and stalker
All I know is that I hope that, someday, Hunhow will receive a canon humanoid form. I will be unstoppable at that point
And to be fair, using stalker as his fighter is kinda easier since.. Well there is some corpus weirdo that experiment on sentient, a ton of tenno with railjacks, grineer that would just try to kill it with their cannon or infestation that would just shoot laser
But with how everything is centered on Uranus i really feels like the orokin made Jade light from uranus's environment, it could have been some special gems that would be very unstable (but idk got stabilized by the immense pressure of uranu's water) but could make precious weapon like jade light
Hmm… interesting conjecture on the Jade Light. I was under the assumption that it was pretty much a sci fi disintegration beam that just used a metric load of energy to kill a single target
Ballas was originally going to get there and he knew eating the sun would open a gate to Tau
Yeah, the problem is that Ivara's leverian talked about some manheld jade light
Which is weird when you think about it
I feel like the jade light is a 1 000 000x stronger than opticor 😭
We don't even know what the Jade Light even does and how it was used to execute the orokin traitors
Yeah jade light is only known to obliterate someone like that one meme with dr manhattan
And it was used to get rid of dagaths face
They opened the chamber door just in time for me to see it happen: the Archimedian erupting into a flash, jade-like and blinding. I knew her. She was the greatest scholar of genetics who ever lived. Except now she was nothing but mist and gore. (Detron crewman synthesis)
Archimedian Yonta: "An honour I did not deserve. I awarded myself the Jade Light." (Seraph cutscene)
Porvis describes a flash of the most scintillating emerald light, and Ivara's battle-sibling collapsed to hot dust."
The green light lashed, touching a shoulder plate of Ivara's Avia armour, reducing it to dust. It saved her.(Ivara Leverian)
Jade light is really that meme
Hunhow has already said he's still there because of Natah
Mhh i always thought that he was saying about staying in the water ngl
I was about to say, we do know what it does lol
His only other purpose would be Erra or finishing the job with the Tenno
bcz like then, it would make sense for him to stay in the water if Uranus is actually an orokin facility to make Jade light 🤔
I mean, it's only speculation
No?
They never mention the jade light in her story and if they had used it to destroy her face it would’ve destroyed much more
But yeah tbf it also contradict bcz it would be weird for him to leave the water given that he could get obliterated by every faction at the same time lmao
How would the Jade Light be related to him in the first place too
Her lovers wanted to get rid of her after she became a warframe because their relationship was no longer taboo (no longer considered lower class as she’s a warframe instead of a dax) and the smile on her face creeped them out so they got bored and used the jade on her head thinking it would kill the warframe but it didn’t
Game being focused on Uranus 😔
I would think that him being inside the water is because he has somehow found the orokin facility that would make jade light. So being afraid for what grineer or corpus or other could do with it, he would divert them elsewhere or protect this place.
The Second dream has also shown us that he kinda has sentients ? So it make sense that he would be able to defend this place. Maybe he could not destroy it because of what it could happends with something as powerful as the jade light being exploded on a planet maybe 🤔 ? Like destroying the fauna and since he is a sentient that is about terraforming it would be against his own principle
(it's just speculation, but also the water is one of the greatest hideout for hunhow since he will most likely be less noticed from radar)
It’s never stated that they used the jade light on her, I’m on the archives rn and there’s no mention of the jade light in relation to Dagath
I'm fairly certain it's specifically called a foundry laser for Dagath
So arrangements were made with a master of industry, and the rider – all unknowing – accompanied the couple to a facility. She lay down obediently when instructed, showed no emotion when the restraints clamped her limbs, and made not a sound when the full force of the dissolution beam blazed through her head and out of the back of her steel skull.
You are right I just assumed it was the jade light
It’s cool that they gave lore to why grandmother doesn’t have a name tho I always thought DE just forgot
Except we know why he's on Uranus, he deliberately "fell" there to lie and wait for Natah to pull the trigger
It’s an understandable mistake tbh
oh
😦
I wish Dagath had special dialogue with Grandmother in relation to this 😔
man just went for a quick nap
Grandmother is a very mysterious character she deffo knows a lot more than she’s letting on
Gomaitru/mother is eularia right ?
Yeah
Then wtf is the name of grandma 😭
Def, though we should be wary about what she says sometimes
Still no clue if Bulva is real lmao
It was Dagath
Dagath
OHh true i forgot lmao
Her name was Dagath but gave it to the frame since she had nothing else to give
Cause it was that or dying lmao
On second thought I doubt Grandmother would want to meet dagath a second time lol
Even if it’s a copy of her
With a Tenno in control it’d be fiiine
Also finished going through the leverian and idk which lore I like the best
Her tone when telling the story never really gave the hint that she was afraid of her tbh, Grandmother is wise and old so I’d imagine she knows better, at least with this
there's a hole in her face 🗣️
Me when I get dissolution beamed for naming a horse 😔
Orokin just hella petty at this point
Always have been
Silly orokin killing people because of a horse
Names have power 🤷♀️
Remind me the time where i paired the "names have power" to wally
Idk what i was on but i really felt like finding wally's name or naming him would tame him 😭
I'll never hate the way i love to do unhinged theory 🗣️
we got a man who wanted his ex back so badly he started a war that affected the whole solar system, a dude with 12 stomachs because he wanted to eat, another dude that wanted to use an operator as a body so he summons the void to get rid of the warframe, a couple who didn’t like that their dax lover named a horse so wanted to kill it like wth is wrong with them
Huh
The fact that they were all leader(well someone with higher power) really fells like they're targeting leader and everyone
That’s a valid theory tbh, Wally wants what we got after all and considering his prior theft and tendency to take the shape and memories of others a name and identity may be what he wants
Rather than having him take one or create one through violence and everything he’s doing, perhaps we could give him one ourselves, guide him, the Tenno’s greatest power is compassion after all
It may be the only way to fight him, not through gun and blade but by heart, soul and self
Oro
As far as were concerned the entrati are the only good orokin but we don’t know what they’ve done or if they even remember the things they’ve done
That would be an interesting theory
But i don't know if we have ever guided a conceptual embodiment
Talk no jutsu really gonna come in clutch against the wall
The entrati are def as good as they get, which is still not great but we’ll take it
Even as orokin they were probably too focused on their individual fields of research to really care about doing dumb stuff but they probably participated in continuity which is bad enough
We don’t know thats what he is
Plus we’ve helped conceptual embodiments before, the Holdfasts
the "name have power" thingies really make me feels like this is one of the key of beating or taming the man in the wall
Yeah, we always thought that Wally was a conceptual embodiments from albretch but it doesn't seems so ?
The problem of wally is that he is taking from human's consciousness to make himself
But like, doesn't that mean he is also limited by it ?
Def think giving him his own identity is a way of beating him, or maybe thats what he wants so maybe we shouldnt do that idk
I still see him as a being of chaos rather than evil
Wally being evil feels more like a mean to an end
We dont know if Wally existed prior to Albrecht entering the void since nobody entered prior to that
Maybe after 1999 we’ll peek into Wally’s head more and more
wally know that the entrati, we, the cavia are messing with him
I don't think anyone would be happy to get punched by multiple people idk
He’s def not morally good, but his morals may be based off of a broken Orokin man so 🤷♀️
God I love the warframe lore so much
If he is based on a broken orokin man it means that he is gay
His actions also aren’t chaotic exactly either, they seem that way but I’m not convinced he’s just doing things to do them
He sees a bigger picture than we do
I’m not sure if sexuality carries over
Also there’s a case for Albrecht being bi/pan specifically
yeah albretch is likely bi/pan
Wally’s love life is not really a plot point, but Albrecht’s is
Is jade shadows tied to warframe 1999?
I don’t think so
I've not been paying much attention to it.
It focuses on stalker
Yesn’t
It very likely is not
Nothing about it actually connects to 1999 in any way
IIRC jade shadow is really focused on Stalker nothing else
What would happen if we just closed all entrys into the Void?
Yeah they’re adding more to the stalker lore, hopefully they tell us how he became a warframe
make sense to give him finally what he deserve
Now the only character that need his quest is ordis
well, if nothing else
inter-system travel would shut down
since the rail networks every faction uses are dependant on it
yeah
Is he supposed to be a new warframe or he is really another excal huh
His abilities differ from Excal greatly
Would Wally be stuck in the Void?
Imagine they let us live through his eyes as dax soldier the moment the massacre started
His fingers are still outside of it so
No
Trueee, even duviri's one is really just another warframe
What if we threw his fingers back into the Void?
I still want a quest focused around the massacre of the orokin or at least a quest where we get to play through it as different frames
Goodluck finding all of them lol
But also we should not give him those back
Those are literally 2 different frame but with the same base for design, it's crazy lol
The orokin were pretty good at technology in general but it's very clear their main bread and butter was biology
Specifically gene manipulation
But if we somehow did, and threw them back into the Void and closed all entries and exists to and from the Void, would Wally be stuck in the Void?
which is why the orokin who survived the downfall of the empire and became the grineer queen uses mostly cloning and gene editing, which was common orokin tech they could grab in their go-bag, and why all the major orokin achievements like the towers are actually living beings
Duviri’s stalker just confirms to me he’s a frame
Gotta throw the Tenno in too bud
We’re connected to him
We could all just live in duviri lol
but space might be an issue seeing as though islands keep disappearing
Fib goes over why giving the fingies back is a bad idea iirc
If only new islands could form 😔
Ok and if we did that too?
Then maybe, but Kuva was found before the void and Kuva seems connected to the void / Wally
There may always be some connection to the universe and the void
How does the Void connect with the Universe?
@balmy storm Was it ever mentioned in whispers what the final page contained and why Wally wanted it so badly that because we didn’t give it to him he’s making a move now? wanted to reply the quest but it’s not available for replay yet
We don’t know but it seems to be connected
Are you saying it’s like Dark Matter where 85%ish of the Universe is made up of Void?
Ohh ok
Iirc the last page was for Loid but I don’t remember
You could read the transcripts or check the archive though
It’s more of an alternate dimension where natural laws doesn’t work as intended
Yeah maybe
Yea that’s what I thought too
There’s a lot of theories on how the void and the universe is connected, I remember someone saying it could be like the universe’s shadow or something like that
So like the Upside Down in Stranger Things?
Not literally its shadow but like a shadow, always there, out of reach, seemingly a void but ultimately it can be shaped if you know how
I always thought that it was one trick from albretch, some kind of resort that need to be given to the right person, the one that would have enough compassion to understand and read it outloud. Which was us, so we used love against wally as it is one of the strongest force that can be channeled through the void (citrine's mission)
Eh, maybe?
I don’t remember the lore on the upside down, I enjoyed the last season but not the upside down lore so idr
Ahhh I see
We don't know if albretch know every property of the void but likely knew about that one.
To be fair he must have known if he can go to 1999 lmao
I wonder if 1999 will give us a clear timeline of warframe but probably won’t
But the trick could have been messed up if wally actually got the page since we could not stop the onslaught of wally's minimn
We still don’t know if he went to an alternate timeline or if it’s the 1999 of the warframe timeline right?
Depends on what 1999 is
Yeah that’s what I was thinking too
The Upside Down is basically the evil shadow of the real world, like you said. But I see what you mean on how the Void and the Universe might be connected in some way
I doubt its an alternate timeline or literal time travel, I think its like Duviri but a time instead of a place if that makes sense
From old orokin records Albrecht conceptually embodied 1999, that’s my theory
Ooooh that’s a really good take that I never considered as a possibility
I think thats where the upside down and the void differ, cause I dont think the void is evil, shadows aren’t inherently evil after all
Its kinda just there, an empty reflection
Only hole in my theory is that it seems to be a strand of khra and we dont know what that is or means or how Albrecht could’ve made it
But considering his knowledge of requiems, void tongue and all that its plausible
I personally think it’s in the past/alternative timeline because of the “from my time” line that Albrecht says
Yea I get it
I feel like 1999 is that somehow albretch worked on a strand of khra and made some kind of controlled space that recreate 1999?
I’m so lost now because I thought they were just void words
His work likely was on controlling a strand of khra
Conceptually embodied time
Khra also has the symbol of a sand timer too so it could be related to time
wait, can we replay Whisper of the Wall quest in Jade update or is that 1999
Yess that one
He may be the first step on making our tenno stronger ?
Khra roughly translates to time
I think so
Idk hopefully by jade update but it’s doubtful
I think they said we could
But then, how did he make things able to get infested ? Arthur and aoi are experimented on and are pretty much human ?
I’ve been wanting to reply it just for the Arthur sequence
do u think DE fix the vending machine? We can just walk through it with no collision
He probably used the knowledge he had of warframes / infestation to make them
There was lot of secret like behind the subway train
Just because they’re void manifestations doesn’t mean they aren’t human
I mean... I would say yes 😭😭
Wouldn’t Albrecht had mentioned if he conceptually embodied 1999? All he really says about it is “plague year”. I feel like it’s a bit of a stretch to think the entirety of 1999 was conceptually embodied, but who knows maybe I’m wrong
I hope we’ll get more in tennocon
Yeah, I feel like 1999 will really reveal about how strand of khra work and that since everything has to be with the void it also mean you can navigate through it and so albretch somehow went to 1999
Yea we’ll understand what 1999 really is once the Strands of Khra are explained
He may not have known he had created it, hopefully we’ll find out more about its origins but even if he didnt make it it still could be classified as a conceptually embodied time
How could he have created 1999?
The strands of khra could also be the result of someone changing things in time, there’s some info about what happens with that but I cant check it atm
Void + emotion + concepts = thing
How did the Drifter make Duviri?
Duviri was based off a book tho. How could Albrecht create 1999 if there was no basis to go off of?
It’s not that far fetched to say one looked at records of the plague year and that caused it to be created within the void
He’s an Orokin?
With access to records that go as far back as the plague year?
He’s not some random schmuck, if anyone had the information it’d be him
The orokin didn’t wipe all records, just records relating to how they came to be
I don’t think Albrecht understands how conceptually embodiment works, but if he did and created 1999, I’m still pretty sure he would mention it somewhere in his logs. But again, because of how he says “from my time”, I think he just simply time traveled to the past or a different timeline
Duviri is a world inside of a book written by Euleria
It's not based off of a book
It's the book coming into existence
If he doesnt understand how it works and conceptually embodied it into existence he would believe he had time travelled when in reality he didn’t, but he believes he did
I meant Duviri as in the Void Duviri. And book as in the actual Tales of Duviri book
It’s not inside the book, we literally see Duviri the book and Duviri the land as separate during its creation, the concept of the book was made reality through conceptual embodiment.
Don’t you have to be in the Void in order to conceptually embody something?
Duviri was never in existence until after the drifter's void jump accident
Yes, I fail to see how that would disprove anything though
Man constantly experimented with the void after all
Albrecht was In the void when he saw Wally
Yeah, I know
The Drifter caused Duviri to exist because they held the concept of the Duviri book in their mind to try and control their turbulent emotions, those emotions combined with the concept of Duviri and the void created the physical and now real land of Duviri
It is a storybook brought to life thanks to the void, its what it does
Yes, and as I said the world of duviri was originally in a book written by Euleria
I think I interpreted what you said as saying it was literally in the book
My b
Yeah, most likely because I didn't word it well enough
Sooo then wouldn’t that mean 1999 is in the Void?
How would 1999 be in the void if nobody imagined it in their head while in the void?
You have to be in the Void in order for conceptual embodiment to happen
Yeah so how is 1999 in the void?
Yes
Then the Grey strain would exist in 1999
Because wouldn’t it appear in the Void, like how Duviri did? Duviri didn’t manifest into an alternate timeline, because it was conceptually embodied in the Void
Hopefully that makes sense
Duviri is a conceptually embodied place
I theorize 1999 to be a conceptually embodied time
Both can exist in the void
But there's no mention of 1999 being conceptually embodied in the Void
We have no info on 1999’s origin
But Albrecht used a capsule to go to 1999. If it was in the Void, he wouldn’t have to use a dramatic way to enter 1999, no?
We have to use a gate in the Zariman to get to duviri
So
We don’t know what the capsule does other than it sends him to 1999
As a conceptually embodied time it wouldnt be as easy to access, it isn’t just a place
It's not as easy to travel across timelines
As it is to travel across different universes
I wonder would Wally still be able to come into our reality if we launched his finger back in the void?
Well since Albrecht has access to the Void in his labs, he easily could’ve just made a simple portal to 1999 since it has to be in the Void in order for it to be conceptually embodied
But its not just a place, its not as easily accessible as Duviri cause its not just a physical space
It's a timeline
I feel like the answer would be yes especially because of the reliquary drive on the Zariman as we know that's his finger
And they cloned it
So then it wouldn’t be conceptually embodied if it’s not in the Void. The Void can’t just magically make a random place outside of its domain like 1999 because that would go against the rules of what we know. I think it’s more likely to be a different timeline, because time shenanigans have already been talked about, like in TNW
And that's where you're wrong and eternalism comes Into play
Why is the assumption that 1999 is randomly created in the void?
Additionally how would this compare to the fact that we've been told about conceptually embodied timelines (even though its not specifically referring to 1999) in Whispers in the Wall?
You say that like "different universes" actually have been traveled to
I wish we could get a dax gameplay like Teshin's
I assumed it would be since Duviri was conceptually embodied. But I don’t think Albrecht created 1999 through conceptual embodiment. As for that second point, we still don’t know what the Strands of Khra are and how they were made sooooo idk
I believe 1999 is a different timeline/the past
Your first statement... contradicts yourself? The question was randomly created. But you yourself state it was conceptually embodied? That would mean it isnt randomly created.
Quick question
If I redo the new war, do I get to choose my Lotus again?
Nono I’m not saying it was conceptually embodied. But I assume it would be in the Void if it was actually conceptually embodied by Albrecht, which was Duckies theory
No
You after the name change, or appearance change?
No it’s permanent
I see
Just curious, was gonna redo it anyway
Well, you can't really redo Lotus in a sense that you rename her since the game did say it's perma
But you could change her appearance to any of the 3
With some platinum
Yep
I'm redoing it because originally I did it with umbra
Made sense in my head since he has beef with Ballas, but then I thought how ungrateful of me to volt (my initial one)
Especially when it was volt carrying my operator in the 2nd dream
Once I finish making and leveling the parasecis I'll redo the mission
With Volt
I think you misunderstood
I’m saying it is in the void but it’s a conceptually embodied time in the void, nothing about what I said contradicts that.
Ohhh ok I see it now. Ig that could make sense, but we’ll see during Tennocon
Ye
Duviri
Duviri is not a different universe
Duviri is literally in the void
Duviri is just a space in the void
Drifter is from an "unrealized possibility"
The question is, is Drifter actually real or their own Conceptual Embodiment from our own operator in the moment of being thrown into the void
(joking of course, but I love thinking stupid things about CE)
The drifter is a real person
But honestly respectable theory
Like I said it was a joke, but I try to keep my ballas-posting on topic
Still a respectable theory
Well, seems like this one teaser dashes the theory that Stalker is going to transition into Jade.
Looks absolutely sick.
I hope this means Stalker will get a new upgrade, shedding the "Shadow Stalker" form he's been stuck with for so long.
Can't wait for Jade "Jade Light bypasses Shield Gate" Stalker
Also forgive me but I fail to see how it explicitly dashes or confirms anything aside from showing the new Hate skin we knew was coming with the event
It is just a promo image lol
That's why I said "seems like". Could always be wrong.
That's what I'm saying
I do hope I'm right though. This is a really cool look for him. Though I do kinda miss his Second Dream character model without the Pakal armor. Pretty weird how he changed design for almost no reason.
This image just looks like he is getting attacked by the new jade light enemies
He also has the new ephemera on him
Stalker’s on his way to power the elevator while showing off his cool new Hate skin and amazing ephemera
Jade Light enemies?
That's just the corpus
Jade light eximus
The update will introduce a new Jade Light Eximus unit. Stay moving or die.
btw do we know how ballas became the monster in new war? with his legs dangling from his knees?
What?
Iirc he says the Lotus did it to him, though I’m sure Erra helped
I think it’s mentioned in the Chimera Prologue
so is he turning into a sentient?
Ballas was fatally wounded at the end of the Sacrifice. The Sentients amalgamized him to save his life.
ahhh
Ballas honestly has such a memorable character design, especially after becoming the chimera.
fr
Now that’s the question isn’t it Kiddo?
It's most likely that mitW didn't come from the deep void given that he was most likely given form from albretch first non crystal protected armored expedition.
Meaning that worse than mitW could lurk ?
I mean if we link the void with the warp
The terms of deep warp is referenced as a place where even gods don't go
Where entities eat the remnant of gods.
Similar to the deep sea where whale gets eaten by Crustacean
Maybe the void arc isn't ending because the deep void was maybe locked by mitW as he was strong enough to repel those things
But like if the balance of power is messed up (in the void) once wally get either locked or killed. Then what will try to fill the hole ?
I'm kinda referencing to the last expansion of destiny talking about once the witness got defeated, they wonder what will try to fill the power vacuum
Feelings are powerful in the void, love being shown a lot.
Diverse emotion from duviri
But in the terms of deep void it feels like they would be... Amplified ?
nuts that was my theory
It's speculation but I really feel like defeating the man in the wall isn't a good sign but is a necessity to ensure that the solar system is safe.
He’s an amalgam
||He was an amalgam ||
Hes like an amalgam now that's why he would've been able to go through the gate
The void gate to tau?
No? He didnt need to be half sentient for that to work it was just a portal lol
You right
May he rot in the tiniest of pieces
It's a void gate
Void is in the name
He still could’ve done it without being Sentient
Yeah
Because he was orokin
We entered a void gate at the start of the quest…
Lotus entered it too
You dont have to be a void construct, sentient or orokin to go through
If anything if you are a sentient that’s typically not a good idea
No where has it ever been stated you need to be a sentient, orokin or void construct to enter a void gate
Then explain how the sentients couldn't go through the solar rail...
They didnt go through the solar rail because the void is their innate weakness, it sterilizes them
And how would that be an argument for him being able to go through?
They can and did.
That's what the invasion was in the old war.
Like they the destroyed the Solar Rail later.
Just proved yourself wrong m8
Void exposure is not kind to the sentients
????
Like the old war started with a Tau Invasion coming through the Solar Rail.
Even then I said, that amalgams aren't affected by the void because they're not full sentients
Show me where it states that an Orokin, void construct or sentient are the specific individuals who can go through void gates.
But they are half sentients, they’re still affected
The solar Rail to tau (origin system side) was destroyed by Hunhow during the old war.
Then Ballas wouldn't have been able to at the end
Not that he’d be able to do anything anyway, all the sentients in the origin system are fragments or sterile
He would have though, just because he’s an amalgam doesn’t mean he can’t go through a void gate
My point is you dont specifically have to be a sentient, orokin, amalgam or anything specific to go through
Anyone can
Ballas was going to use Praghasa to jump through his homebrew Void Gate. It might have destroyed her, but any damage he took would have been minimal.
Since his biological functions aren't tied to his Sentient bits.
Neither are the amalgams
Actually a bunch of the amalgams had their heads replaced with sentient bits
I mean he def can’t reproduce but that’s both due to him being an amalgam and that sentient half being sterile to begin with
So in reality they wouldn't have been affected by the void
Others had their torsos
He is an amalgam
No no, the amalgams would be afffected by the void, in their sentient bits
The amalgam project existed to try and combat that weakness, it failed
His biological functions are though. Look at his legs
Then Ballas wouldn't have been able to
Sentients don’t just drop dead from the void
Yeah his legs would stop working but not his heart, brain or endocrine system
The void works like radiation on the sentients
Except when I blast them
Yes, he would have
Being a sentient does not mean you cant go into the void, Lotus literally goes in a void gate at the start of the quest???
It cooks them from the inside out
Cause we fry their ability to adapt
also Lotus is an eidolon at that point and they play by different rules
But frying that doesn’t just mean they drop dead, its the additional damage that does that
Isn’t she only an eidolon post-duviri?
Which by the way is the reason we can expect that Praghasa's still alive, otherwise she'd be an eidolon
Or is it the moment Ballas sucks the life out of her?
She's made into an eidolon when Drifter gives her the first archon shard
Before that she's mostly dead
So way after she went into the void gate
Oh no she dies when she's thrown into the gate
Thanks for backing what I said up
kills her dead
I wish Duviri actually showed us finding her at the end like a mini cutscene
The gate itself isnt what kills her
The void exposure between being thrown into the gate and landing in Duviri is
She never showed up in duviri
Entering the void does not instantly kill sentients, it strips their adaptation and sterilizes them
Thats it
Minus her hand
The WAY that it sterilizes them is how it kills them
Her hand does
Thats literally her
Thats how sentients work
Guiding light to newly awakened Tenno
Ironically this means that Hunhow is War until your Warframe shatters it
They really aren't tenno without that hand
Its not immediate damage is my point, yes the sterilization ultimately kills them cause it stops their reproduction
But Lotus was already sterile by the time she enters the void gate
Speaking of Ballas and the Void gate
Did he have a plan or anything for after that I’ve forgotten?
Destroy the Sun settle on Tau
That's why it's destroying them as a species. The void is also lethal to them on an individual level.
Man just wanted Tau but forgot he’d probably be shot immediately
it was less a plan and more a tantrum "I don't wanna play with you guys anymore I'm going away"
Like radiation on an organic being, a small or indirect exposure "merely" sterilizes a sentient. In large quantities it kills them outright.
If it was that lethal the hand wouldn’t survive, it weakens them it doesn’t outright destroy them immediatly
It actually does. Octavia's anthem has you fighting sentients in the void and they're dying just from having traveled to the Orokin Tower.
The lethality of void exposure is why the Lotus reaches Duviri as a hand instead of the rest of her body
Her hand was already separate from her body?
Ballas cut it off, it enters before the rest of her
Nope, just checked
It goes in AFTER
Next to your Operator.
hmmm no wait this is odd, it doesn't show the hand after it's removed
Lotus falls in without it
It still goes in separate from her, smaller piece would die out faster
the hand drops next to the Operator, then the Operator's booted in
ha ha yeah about that
remember, Wally uses Lotus's hand to shake with you on the Zariman
This is the actual Duviri Paradox
isn't that his (wally or the operator) own paradox ?
Duviri is only related to the drifter in the end ?
I would be suprised the grief of stalker is actually because jade and him were having a deep relationship
The whole of the paradox was that both The New War and Duviri Paradox have to happen before the other story can happen
It really is 3 days omg
shield break particle
Playable Stalker??? (Outside Duviri I mean)
we knew that. all of the quest is seemingly gonna be a quest where we play him most of the time.
idk
i have so much stuff just waiting for the stalker if he joins the team
Jade looks autistic
(complimentary)
Uhh the head bit
The glowy stuff on the head is her eye ima assume
With the part ontop probably being a drone
Probably a I forget their name the like flying over head things.
The Heliroom sigil things
You mean signas?
I don’t see anything above Jade blueprint
Let alone during the model test so probably just another signas
Probably.
They need to add more ngl
I just called Stalker “Gabriel” is it over?
For a blue Nikon it is
||Until Gabriel shows up in Act 3||
Yes well the 2 fights are easy
Not leviathan easy but still easy
Where is this interview from?
COME ON INFESTED DEADLOCK PROTOCAL
Show us menz dax
idk what that is.
A guy
from?
He's just a retired dax
do we know about him in stuff?
He aided a lorist in putting her twin sister to rest
Her twin sister was the first ancient healer
oh the ancient healer data.
Do we have any predictions as to what syndicates are going to have Qorvex’ [Wrecking Wall] augment?
Steel meridian is my guess
That or maybe perrim cause the corpus like the void and walls???
Won’t lie I’m hoping for Perrin or Veil or Loka. To be fair, I hope the augment is in any of these because those are the syndicates I leveled
I don’t feel like dumping plat on warframe dot market or Trade Chat for an augment that I don’t know how good it’s gonna be
Do we have any details on the new augments or?
pog the end of whispers in thr walls left me starving
i was so disappointed that we didnt like rescue albrecht or something:^(
More story 👁️
oh yeah also why the hell did the man in the wall just show up at the end of the new war as a literal wall in front of the lotus, is that like his true form or something
ok but why a giant creepy wall like thats so specific and out of place and then he just disappears
Well we call him a man in the wall
i feel like itd be cooler if he was just standing there in his sus imposter operator form we're familiar with for a second and then disappears in the blink of an eye
It teaches because it longs to be known, and in being known it exists. And in existing, it survives.
I mean your talking about it so it showing up as the wall worked
It's being known
it kinda draws attention away from the moment of victory which i dont really like
like lemme absorb this win before throwing me into some other crazy situation
I think thats kinda the point
There is no rest for the tenno
We stopped one evil, now we deal with a much greater one
yeahhh but we just finished a 5 hour quest...
It took me like 2
It’s variable
i spent ages on the stealth part and the last railjack bit
it was so hard to tell when the sun was getting brighter at first
New War is my favorite quest in the game ngl
Wish I could forget all about it and replay it
You can replay it
And just choose different things
I meant as in forgetting what happens lol
Lol
Valid
Why can Caliban enter the void if he's sentient? Is it because he's a sentient warframe hybrid?
Why does the Raven Voice sound like Astrid from httyd?
Because sentients can enter the void
Also Caliban is void powered like all warframes
All I’m finding is that the void causes decay, but that decay doesn’t outright kill them from what I can tell just greatly weakens them
But he can be in there for hours probably even days
Something original sentients can't do
But yeah just still confused on how if he is a sentient warframe
Sentient pieces can survive in the Void without observable degradation (eg the War sword, which is a piece of Hunhow; or Amp parts, which appear to be made from Sentient bones and can channel the Operator's Void energy without issue). Caliban is probably just Sentient pieces grafted on to a warframe skeleton, or something like that.
Probably
Makes sense now
It seems the decay doesn’t outright destroy them from what I can find
My guess is the void causes a general disruption to sentients which destabilizes them (decay, removal of adaptations) and sterilizes them
And then the exposure kills them just like it does to others
I don’t think its the exposure to the void outright that kills them otherwise Lotus’ hand wouldn’t exist
But it slowly kills them just like it's doing the the cavia
It could also disrupt their consciousness, essentially making them brain dead which would maybe allow for sentient parts to still exist in/around the void?
Void decay is intended to kill them, according to Perintol, but it didn't end up doing that in practise. Travelling the Solar Rail sterilised them and they can be shielded while in the Void using cephalon energy somehow.
The cavia are biological so its killing them for different reasons
As I said, Sentient pieces don't seem to be affected. It might have to be their consciousness or their cores.
And to add onto that if we've seen what happens when we kill them. When the core gets destroyed as I'm just gonna say it. The parts disintegrate
I think it disrupting sentient consciousness seems more likely to be what’s actually effected then cause then all sentient tech, including caliban, can exist in it just fine but conscious sentients / fragments are disrupted to the point they just disintegrate
If its their consciousness then maybe that explains how cephalon energy protects them too, since that’s technically a human mind
Mmm I think the arms of Conculysts and Battalysts stick around after the core detonates, but in general yeah. You can see that removing the Archon Shard from an Archon disintegrates the Sentient parts of them.
Yeah, and the shards are what allowed them to live correct?
The War sword held part of Hunhow's consciousness and it seemed to be fine in the Void
That seems to be the case

Probably is with your explanation
I really wish we got more info on how exactly the void interacts with sentients cause this is confusing and doesn’t add up
It decays living sentients / fragments but not all of them and they’re fine if protected by a cephalon mind
Yeah

Maybe Hunhow and Lotus hand just had plot armor or due to not being fragments they weren’t effected as much, so maybe its only fragments who ultimately succumb to the decay
They're not "fine" when shielded; the decay just happens slower. During Octavia's Anthem the shielded Sentients are called "Decaying Conculyst/Battalyst" and they're weaker.
Does anyone know if we are gonna Play as the stalker in the upcoming quest?
We don't "know" because iirc they never said it aloud but at the same time it's literally the Stalker quest
Alr cool
Am i misremembering or is magnetic Gonna work on Overguard?
we are
the teaser showed a transition to gameplay thing iirc
Yea we are. It’s been confirmed in literally every teaser lol and by Reb herself
Yeah Overguard will be vulnerable to Magnetic
What does that mean? Also not warframe overguard.
Just normal enemy overguard.
You know you didn't have to post this in here right?
The conversation about status doesn't need to be put in here
Why would they post it elsewhere when their conversation happened here?
Was just saying it didn't have to be in here
I wonder, even if the void jump accident didn't happen how would the story turn out?
Orokin would still be oppressing people since they wouldn't have made the Sentients lol
Maybe even opressing people from their new penthouses on tau
I know it doesn't, but I was replying to the person that asked in here
Most of the things we know about wouldn’t actually happen
True
I guess the Corpus would develop differently, the stuff with Albrecht and Wally too
So, the Albrecht thingy with the sand and the voidtongue at that bit of 1999 when he meets Arthur
Is that just Wally, or has Albrecht been hijacked in some form? That's what I didn't understand
Ignoring when wally is talking to himself at the end of the quest between the operator form, the vessel and fake Albrecht
Okay cool I didn't know if that went over my head or if we didn't know, thanks!
"Nothing has scared me in years. Except... That voice... Couldn't even understand what it was saying..."
There's people thinking it's both because we know he made it
And the reason he's going after the lab is because we're there
Idk, but this didn't need to be in here lol
it is upcoming content isn't?
Yes, but from what I remember this for quests
dang, instruction not clear
there
Valid
This is chat is for all content that can be considered spoilers, including upcoming content
The channel description mentions post-new war spoilers but really anything that’s spoilery
Jade Shadows in ONE day
I m worried they didn t mention on any stream or post if there will be an... SP option
For what?
The new gamemode?
yes
There will be, don’t know why there wouldnt be
i have no idea.they usually mention it as well as the token drop discrepancy so i m a bit worried
I wouldn’t be
I just noticed my nekros will be done when Jade releases
Will we find out more about stalker acolytes during jade shadows?
Probably not because it's the stalker's backstory
Not the Accolyte's
Ok
It'll turn into sandpaper
But if paper beats rock then paper is the key to beating the indifference
But the indifference are clumps of compressed sand
With hands
And feet
That is the murmur not the indifference itself, the murmur is a name for his goons. The Indifference is Wally himself
I thought Wally is made of bones
That's what Vor hinted at least
Remember, Vor has always been an idiot
I mean look at what happened to him after messing with the tenno
Yesh, blame the weapon instead of the weapon holder
It's true tho
On the other hand, being near Wally is spoopy
Not sure if touching him will force him to try to subsume you like helminth
🤣🤣🤣
I don't think he's made of literal bones
The murmur is an extension of the indifference, it is also Wally
When we fight the murmur we fight the indifference, they are one in the same
Is Wally made of bone or stone?
Yes
He doesn’t really have a set physical form, but in terms of the extension of himself that is the murmur it’s likely bone / dust
I think he likes it when he’s given a name cause he’ll use that, like “the wall of bone” and “the man in the wall” is what he’s called and then he takes the form of a man in a bone-white wall lol
Creepy though
Oh yeah for sure
Man is creepy
You could interpret his bones / dust as stone in the same fashion of a fossil too, his domain may also be both bone and stone since it’s really whatever he wants it to be
But his intentions are unknown
But seems he's really gunning it for Albrecht
We know his motives to be
- Wanting his finger(s) back
- Wanting what we got (sense of self, uniqueness, identity)
- and wanting Albrecht for whatever reason
Probably to fuse Albrecht into him
I’m sure his want for Albrecht is related to one if not both of those, Albrecht was the one who cut the fingy after all
Kinda like regular Warframes into helminth
Fatherly issues (if the "Albrecht created Wally" theory is true)
Less fuse with and more take his identity, to be him if anything
But I feel like Parvos Granum would interfere or something
I don’t think he literally created him, more he made him what he is
Wally was nothing because nobody had ever been in the void but then suddenly Albrecht pops in and Wally starts taking his form and taking his memories and sense of self
He was nothing but Albrecht made him something
Maybe
Def feels like Parvos will become more relevant for the void/wally arc
But wonder why the man in the wall though
