Ember Codex is heavily retconned, imo. There are so many details that clash with information we've been given later. Days vs years (or decades), ship intact vs ship corrupt, military vs colony, etc. And of course there was disinformation but it doesn't seem sufficient to overcome the inconsistencies. Throw in that Ember Codex was one of the first lore items ever added (2014, almost 2 full years before The Second Dream) and I think we can say that the details in the Ember Codex no longer apply.

Zariman was most likely commissioned long before the Sentients. The Orokin turned to the Sentients out of deperation, if you read the Detron Crewman Synthesis entry. They wouldn't have been so desperate if the Zariman was still a workable alternative. The Sentients were the thing they tried when all other options to reach Tau failed.

possibly but how is somebody building the extrasolar rail then. that was one of the big purposes for the sentients aside from terraforming, hell with the orokins mastery over nature they didn't really need the sentients for terraforming it just was something that could get done along side the rail being set-up. cause even if you take into account the reli drive its actually massively useful in tau its self as tau has no rail infrastructure.

but all in all i feel like the sentients were something done shortly after, the zariman was launched. kinda think of the zariman to be the head start of it all whilst the sentients focused on the rail. so the zariman can compiling information on the most viable planets and what should be focused on first, research efforts etc etc

The Zariman is implied to be involved in Rail construction. It's my theory (supported by developer comments) that Reliquary Drives create new Solar Rails as they travel. So when the Zariman went to Tau it would have also created a Solar Rail in its wake, which the colonists likely would have reinforced and improved.

This is a very long time ago, and is a discussion of the concept of a certain kind of ship that used Reliquary Drives (which might not have even been concepted at the time), so it's by no means conclusive, but it makes sense to me to think that Reliquary Drives in general generate Solar Rails.

Stuff like the Kuva Hek relies on stacking buffs and specific crit bonuses, IE invisible Ivara on a dashwire with full stacks of merciless and a buffing ability like Roar with high power

I've done every archon hunt since launch with Rhino and a Laetum, in a group of four (so the archon has even more health)

seriously we started the second fight and it just decided to go invincible. Its health went from 50% to 80% almost instantly. And I did try to space my bursts to see how it worked with its damage resistance. As far as I know, it doesnt work at all.

I'm not sure. I think there's probably a distinction between islands being lost (like the islands Acrithis talks about, including Scholar's Landing) vs the islands that just disappear and come back during other moods. Albrecht's grave says "This world could not hold him", indicating that he's not in Duviri at all, and there's a grave for someone else who was also on the island, so they consider that person gone forever as well.

Acrithis also says that Kullervo's Hold "comes into view" during the specific Spirals, so I'm not even sure that it actually disappears. It and the other islands like it (Amphitheatre, Archarbor) might just be fogged up or otherwise inaccessible, but still present.

If the change you want happens, you will have to click on "return to orbiter" instead of click on the navigation button.

What we need is increased damage reduction: a steeper curve so that the boss health can be significantly reduced. That would effectively bring down the damage ceiling and bring up the floor, making mechanics more important than tanking/burstDPS
