That leads to the player needing to go out of their way to avoid the enemy with the teleport to make slamming more convenient than regular attacking.
It's personal preference there but the overlap isn't great.

It gets super super nutty very quickly.

It also has built in target prioritization so it will always go for the bigger enemies before seeking out little ones.

preferable anything radial, so i guess explosive, but i’m also fine w chain weapons and such. the radial weapons scale rly well when the elements interact w zephyr tornadoes, and i just want a general crowd clearing primary without using my melee, which i use most often

could try something like bramma or zarr for explosives, although they have ammo problems.
for chain beams, I love the boar because it switches between fast-firing auto shotgun and three auto targeting chaining beams.

latron and sobek are some unique examples, but they also work here

Voltaic Strike is pretty uncommon barring the rare Baro rerun like right now. Also if the weapon is a low base status chance then voltaic isn't really giving it much.

in the rare occasion it is being used, it’s alongside shocking touch and usually on a weapon/setup that has multiple flex slots and doesn’t need something like reach/fury/combo related mods

modded electricity damage is one of the things that factors into electric dots, which directly factors into how much damage influence is doing

since shocking touch is the biggest non-riven electric damage you can get for 1 mod slot, it’s pretty much mandatory

bigger elec number = more weighting as well, and the extra status chance from voltaic doesn’t compensate the lower elec number when you already have some status chance from weeping wounds/galv elementalist

it’s expensive because it’s non-farmable, that’s really the only reason

some weapons can run it to fill the 8th mod slot
