i mean ima be so fr, i put on hornet strike instead of the pt mod and it was about the same, i could test p. convulsion l8r but like its about the same if not a little faster when hitting double the number of enemies roughly

even then as soon as you put in frame buffs into the equation i imagine it probably leans in favour of hitting double the number of enemies

This needs to be tested specifically with buffs. For example, my oraxia clears much faster with base damage.
Without buffs it's quite difficult to notice the difference

You will always want to use the Certus Brace whenever you are making an amp, gives a ton of flat crit chance

Then for prism it depends on your accuracy and gamemode, for general usage and you have good accuracy and is for general usage then use Cantic Prism, if you don't have good accuracy and for general use or are fighting eidos then use Raplak Prism, then for profit taker and void angels I believe it is Klamora prism

For scaffold it is Propa Scaffold for eidolons and profit taker and Phahd Scaffold otherwise

Hey so this is for @void sky who can’t post their build for some reason so I’m doing it for them. Please ping them with suggestions. They are currently struggling to progress past Saturn on the normal star chart

@void sky the first thing I’d recommend is for your primary weapon, I’d fully upgrade infected clip and cryo rounds. This will be a huge step up for your damage.

Next I’d swap the order of the mods. You’d want the viral status effect, I hear it’s pretty good and with it you can kill enemies faster.

To make it, order your mods like this (from left to right):

Infected Clip, Cryo Round, stormbringer;everything else doesn’t matter here.

You’ll notice a bit difference once you upgrade them.

Your pistol build just needs upgrades tbh, but if resources are scarce, don’t worry about it.

As for your melee

Right now you’re in luck.

For your melee regardless, you are gonna want to upgrade pressure point to the max. It is essential for any melee weapon.

Anyways here is the build I set up using what you have right now for your sword. It’s not the best, and the sword isn’t the best either, but it’s a damn sight better than your current one because of its mod capacity.

I prioritized stacking damage types and a little status chance. I don’t want to recommend any mod grinding rn because that can be a lot of work but you’d definitely want to get more mods

When you are in “navigation” look at the top right of your screen and find a little triangle symbol (looks like a hazard symbol)

Click on it and it’ll show you the current alerts. The ones that unlock the weapon (and the ship skin) are low level so you can do it no problem.

For eidolon run there's a few steps, but it's easy when you get the habit :

• find eidolon traps in grineer camps (destroy then hack them), 3 of them is enough for 1 eidolon, charge it by killing the vorpalysts (the drone that become ghosts when killed)
• find eidolon and destroy his shield with your operator, then aim for the articulation with your frame
• each articulation destroyed will make the eidolon do radiation waves, sneak in operator to dodge them, repeat
• when his dying, the drones will try to heal him for a final fight, kill them all the finish the eidolon

Been using a kuva sobek(+60% cold) with it for a few hours now.
It feels as though acid shells isn't proccing at all half the time.
Is acid shells just buggy, or does it need to be built a specific way in order to work?

open the stats list and as long as the combination of core and gyro have a value of 343 shields or more then its good to keep.

Krisys + Tyli, Lehan + Atheca, Lehan + Munit, Lehan + Trux, and Lehan + Tyli are all combination of cores and gyros you DO NOT want because they dont have the 343 shield minimum.

As far as for ranking only part that matters is the head so just take the cheapest gyre core and legs for ranking.

Difference between heads is that they give you precept mods however if you have all the mods you can just pick whichever head you like the most cosmetically.
as long as you have the 343 shield value pick whatever combination of gyre and cores you like the most cosmetically. And legs (Brackets) add a polarity slot but are otherwise cosmetic so while there can be some importance for the legs they wont make or break a moa

dread is good because it has an incarnon (additional thing you can attach onto it later down the line that makes it better). since iirc you still relitively early into the game if you get it/build it even if you dont use it a ton id highly recommend keeping it so you can revist it later. but if you enjoy it then it can most definelty be usable.

as for melees the broken war which i believe you get through story is quite good as far as starting weapons go. the xoris is also a very good weapon (dont sell it even if you think you might not like it because re-acquiring it is not cheap and it can be used for later content)

regardless tho, you have somewhere between 2-3 sources of base damage, you really dont need to mod for heat since its alrdy doing heat dmg, and you have 2 forms of multishot, all of which can be changed out for different statuses. tbh i would say drop aptitude, vigilantee armaments and hell fire put on your magnetic mod and then put on either viral or corrosive
