Vox solaris was a big jump but it’s one of the few I remember from early game. Without knowing what mods you do and don’t have to work with, I don’t have any specific advice other than get used to your shields breaking (and it’s not bad necessarily, see: shield gating) 1 to close distance or extend invulnerability from shield break, use 4 constantly. Remember that 2 exists, blind people can’t shoot you

Hey everyone, good evening!
I wanted to share a suggestion/idea I had, I know this might not be the usual chat for this, but I thought it was too cool to keep to myself lol

I was thinking about something inspired by Helminth, but focused on weapons:

ARSEN – Combat Bond System.

It would be a system where you extract a unique passive from a weapon (level 30 required) and apply it to another weapon of the same category — like rifle to rifle, shotgun to shotgun. Each weapon could only have one Bond active, and installing a new one would replace the old. The weapon used to extract the Bond would be destroyed, just like with Helminth.

To make it even cooler, imagine this coming with a new weapon line, like Kuva, Tenet, or Coda weapons. These would be called Nexus Weapons — the name “Nexus” means connection, because these weapons would act as catalysts for these Bonds. They’d have exclusive talents designed specifically for this system and would help bring new life to the arsenal.

Example Bonds:

• **Vectis Nexus: **First bullet in a magazine deals +60% critical damage.

• Tigris Nexus: +30% damage against fully shielded enemies.

• **Bramma Nexus: **Explosions create a fire zone that deals damage over 3 seconds.

To keep things balanced: Riven mods would be limited or excluded, and Incarnon or evolving weapons couldn’t donate or receive Bonds. Bonds also wouldn’t stack with mods that provide similar effects.

It would be a fresh way to farm, encourage using forgotten weapons, and add more freedom to build customization. What do you think?
