The heal will continuously heal them for the duration.

So unless the eximus damage is far greater than your %heal (base str is 25% hp heal per second), then only making the defence operative invisible is useful

What are some good heat inherit primers these days?

phantasma, bubonico, cedo, (or anything with a high dispo +heat riven) for primaries

just stuff with a bit of coverage (aoe/chaining/etc) and decent status (or high fire rate/multishot/etc)

I used it momentarily on Yareli because it was the closest thing we had to bubble ephemera at the time

I hate to say the new augment is better on paper than it is in practice unfortunately.

Most people rely on shield gating, so no one run armor/adapt/etc so you just get massive amount of dmg at once.
