i like index since its pretty chill, and not too much attention/effort is needed, can watch something while you're doing it.
survival caches in 1999 are really good too, 100k credits for 5-6min, affected by boosters/chroma/prosperous retriever (so 200k with booster, and potentially 400k/800k if chroma/pet mod procs, throw on a final 1.25x if you have blessing).
profit taker is good if you're fast (and you get toroids and mods as well), but takes some gear/knowledge/constant attention.

With the 1999 update they made it so abilitys that apply a elemental damage boost to weapons will no longer combine elements on the weapons with it's existing eliments. Meaning you can run a gun that's electric damage and add heat damage on top with a ability to dubble dip status proc dots.

If we use how weapon modding formula works. The higher the damage type the higher the odds of it being rolled for it being the elemental proc.

So let's assume your gun has 100% status chanses. And you have IPS on your weapon. Each status effect has a 33.3% to roll on each shot. If you toss in a new eliment it goes down i 25% that's assuming there all the same damage. If one damage is higher than the other it has better odds of getting rolled since it's the more dominant stat

Hey guys I'm not really 1 to complain but why is the game feel so easy? Only thing i pretty much die to is 1 shot mechanics or being stupid, I just finished the new war, it was so boring bec it was so easy, people keep saying "Steel Path" like why can't the game be harder before that? Trash builds can easily do 40-60 lvled enemies,I just want the base game to be harder without needing steel path

The Game should Def add difficulties.
Story = 20-60 lvled
Medium = 40-80
Hard = 80 - 120
Death = 100 - 150
Steel Path = 200 - 300
And make the level scaling better and then the game could be much better, so people could play to thier skill level.
And each added difficulty would increase drops by 5% so up to 20% more rewards and chance to gain mods that are part upgraded for more endo gain, plus a few extra mods that help with the level scale, current steel path would be the same diff as hard diff

Yeah that's the problem, with a maxed build lvl 1000 can get vaporised, they just need to find a way to make end game hard without just 1 shoting the players or making them unkillable

The origin system is pretty much a tutorial for steel path. Introduce something like mayhem or op scaling from borderlands and allow the players to choose

That way if you want the normal steel path experience you still get it. With idk you can choose to up it at your own peril. Don't bring the randomized modifiers. Those can stay in the trash

Yeah Debuffs could work, and add some random mechanics like collapsing, where there are falling things that will dmg you and will knock you down, dodging lasers through the whole area, eximus only, energy regen is the only energy gain, so no energy orbs or abilitys to gain energy

The arctic eximus units are pretty good at what they do imo. They're not a massive threat on their own and you don't need to focus on them right away but they become an issue when enemies group up with them denying you the ability to use abilities on those inside their bubble
