However, I've found a host leaving a game resets any challenge progress for everything but Nightwave.

Basically, try to avoid having hosts leave others behind.

Anyone got an idea how to make kullervo better in more content. I tried using him on sisters of parvos and all of a sudden my melee deals 200 damage on a heavy attack instead of millions. And when fighting the murmur assassination boss none of his abilities dealt damage or even targeted the boss. Even the dagger rain ability seemed to not hit tge boss. Couldn't get overrated on the 2 either

Dunno what the problem with sisters is, but murmur boss is a gun soak. Most abilities are only for the minion waves.

Yeah, so damage attenuation is a thing bosses have which makes them immune to abilities and all of its effects. This isn't a Kullervo issue. Wrathful Advance won't work on them, so don't feel bad that you're not killing them quickly.

It's described as being 'lighter than air'. I think I've made a theory in the past but it might be an alloy of oxygen and lithium. Oxygen is a gas, and lithium is a very light metal

Of course an 'alloy' is a mixture of two metals and not a metal and a gas, and any compound is bound to be heavier than air, but this is Warframe where the Orokin put a breathable atmosphere on every planet and several moons so... yeah

It might also be an isotope / ion/ whatever other term is used to describe atoms with protons, neutrons, and electrons being added, removed, or shifted around

Going back to the topic of how we can barely put a dent in Corpus and Grineer numbers, I'm certain the same is to be said of the Infested because they have a functionally unlimited amount of the other factions to infect and it grows rapidly even without organic matter hence Eris and Deimos

The Corrupted are the same. Void fissures, and the neural sentry in the Orokin towers because the Grineer and Corpus can't just leave it the hell alone and keep getting mind controlled

Murmur ||is being made out of nothing because they're literally void manifestations. Conceptual embodiment creates them out of nothing||

That leaves Techrot and Scaldra. Techrot obviously infects technology and turns into machine zombies which is fair enough to justify having massive numbers. Scaldra on the other hand... I doubt their number is nearly as big as any other faction, but they're most likely being restored each time 1999 loops, and getting killed again

Eh, enemy spawning has always been a bit unreliable on the orb. You make a lot of noise in the area and try to find a good funnel point. There’s places inside the buildings that seem to work better probably because the game isnt doing ambient spawns outside. But you kind of need to keep refreshing after a while.

Finish leveling Vulkar, then you can delete, there's a better variant called Vulkar Wraith. Same goes for Boltor has it has both a prime and a Telos. Soma has a prime. Gorgon has both a prisma and a wraith. Mk-1 Furis and Braton can also be yeeted off a cliff. (Keep reg Furis, but mk-1 needs to get fusrodah out of there)

unless im misremembering, the more damage something does the higher chance it has to proc its status. so if u want say, slash. u, in theory, might want to use fanged fusillade. So if slash is higher then impact, then slash will apply more often then impact. if status chance triggers

Only time you really need it is when your physical damage is dilluted to where you'd want better weighting, but at that point the damage bonus is really bad

The positive to physical damage mods is that they're basically like elemental mods - multiplicative with stuff like Serration. The problem is that rarely is this gonna be better than an actual elemental mod due to the fact that most weapons don't heavily lean on one physical damage stat and for those that do, it really sucks to put more on it unless it's specifically slash, a status effect you'd actually want.

Generally it's just worse than elemental mods

according to the wiki: a weapon will require a Slash damage percentage equal to 75% of its total base damage to equal the raw damage increase provided by a standard elemental mod (which increases corresponding elemental damages by 90%). The higher the Slash damage percentage over 75%, the more viable this mod will be as opposed to an elemental mod, and vice versa for lower values.

Yeah, don't take this at face value though and assume that the mod is good if it surpasses a certain %

As i said, puncture and impact are still generally really bad status effects for dealing damage

I mean melee doughty exists but even with that, ceramic dagger wants like jugulus barb and that's it, and if it didn't have the status chance it would also suck

Melee doughty wants primarily puncture weapons but if you're primarily dealing puncture, the weighting shift will be negligible. So with ceramic dagger, it's 90% puncture at base, so jugulus barb only changes the weighting by 4%. Without the status chance component, this would completely suck.

So yeah, physical damage mods rarely work and when they do, it's typically due to the fact that you're going for other stuff outside of just the damage and it fits well for that

Now if physical damage mods were a separate damage multiplier on top of elemental mods, then we'd be cooking

The only way I see physical mods are useful is to add more status chance of this physical attribute higher in the calcul of status chance, like for doughty you'll need more puncture than other thing

What’s a good simulacrum test to see if a weapon has punch through?

So far I’ve been going into the Scarlet Spear simulacrum and spawning a bunch of level one enemies, taking Multishot off the gun being tested, and firing into the group

The shimmering thing is an emblem. If you already have a Stalker emblem you can't pick up another one. It won't let you.
But because it's present there you can mark it for your team to find, though the same rules apply.
