Yeah, it affects everyone in range, including the caster. But even with high range stats, you have to be standing basically right next to the caster to get the buff.

I mean, it doesn't. You're better off staying near people for affinity purposes, but missions where you go from point A to point B as fast as possible are not ones you use to farm affinity.

Capture and Exterminate are "races", after a fashion. Defense and Survival are less so.

Disruption it's a race to destroy the demolyst as fast as possible, but everyone benefits from that.

Circuit, you're on a very small map so people can't really get that far away.

In regular star chart, the more people in a squad the more enemies there are, so that's why people prefer to have full squads.

In Steel Path, it doesn't matter. SP game nodes operate as if there is a full squad.

I mean, you can play solo if you want to learn tilesets. That's what I did when I started. It's when you want to level gear that you'll look into mission nodes where people stay grouped up.

Then it sounds like you're still in the early days. You can run mission nodes solo if you want. I would run defense, interception, and disruption in groups. Capture, Exterminate, and Spy, run those solo.

That doens't make any sense from a Warframe perspective. If you enable cross save, your progress is cross platform. The only thing that isn't is Platinum, since Nintendo won't let you share.
