Firstly, I'm just one person with an opinion. One thing I will say is: when it comes to graphic design, designs are usually well planned out. Graphic design entails creative problem solving. It often brings together myriad elements in a cohesive way. This often requires a lot planning... or at the very least, a lot of trial and error to arrive at something that is visually appealing. It can also tell a story, delivers a message or is a direct call to action. Sometimes all of these things! This requires a great deal of planning. Next, often people try to emulate a style that looks "improvised" but you'll find that to get something that looks impromptu is a lot of work and really not winging it at all. Just throwing something together at the last minute which looks good and works well is usually something only achievable by professionals with experience (or beginners who get lucky).

Be prepared to fail. It's OK. Embrace it. We learn a lot more from our failures than our successes. With that in mind: experiment. Try things out. Experimentation is how you learn. You can "just wing it" during the ideation phase of a project. However, then you'd take those improvised ideas and develop them into something that is more cohesive and well thought out. Many designers will tell you that sometimes you have to work through all of your ideas (good and bad) until you arrive at the one that works. Very few except the extremely talented sit down and create an award-winning design on their first attempt. There are tons of platitudes that apply here. I think its really more about examining/developing a process, planning and having the perseverance to see it through to the end.

Lastly, if you're working for a client, they may ask you to justify your ideas. Why you made certain choices. How those choices impacted the time that you're billing for. I'm not sure I'd want to say, "I don't know." You'd want to say things like: "I used these shades of blue because, from a psychological standpoint, they impart a feeling of calm and relaxation." This shows that you've thought through your ideas. :)

Pro Tip: don't use the Eraser Tool. Learn how to work non-destructively and use Layer Masks to hide/show pixels instead of permanently deleting them.

Speaking of... you might want to use a mask to make the falloff smoother as it transitions from opaque to transparent. That might look better. Also, at the top, you should ensure that all of the elements use equal margins. This object in the corner is butting up against the edge of the rectangle which results in a weird tangent. I would reduce the size of that so is has the same margins as the text.

Same with "Current Record" in the other blocks. Its too close to the edge. Give it some space. Never push things right up to the edge of a container.

just a new layer with " Linear dodge (Add) "

and start painting the glow

Currently designing a landscape photography from just shape layers and textures and this is the result that i came up with till now , What do you all think ?

it's pretty good. the rocks might need to be blended in a little better maybe with some more grass around the outside just so it looks more natural, but either than that it is pretty good.

the fire is a set of free brushes i found on behance. The lighting is super simple:
add a gradient map, and change the way it hits the image:
examples would be screen, color burn, etc. In this case I used soft light on my friend and hard light on the background

This looks great. Obviously the sky will make a big difference. Be sure to choose a sky that explains your shadows and lighting.

Nice. Are you familiar with the Clouds filter? While what it creates generally looks nothing like clouds, it can produce some textures that could help.

Awesome. My layer stacks get equally tall.
I often apply colour to the different groups within the Layers panel to help me quickly identify what's what.

I did use it before but i didn't like it that much so I'll just blend some images with some masking and and i have a clouds brush preset .

I don't see it too bad , Maybe it's just because of the part of the text in the sky background is not well-visible but otherwise i find it acceptable

the Idea for all images overall I find it good. On the First Image there is that white Text but there was 2 different Fonts used (that should be only one) also the Text is "cut" and therefore not good to read. Also unnecessary unsharp. That unsharpness is as it seems on all images.
On the second Image the items like lamps, loudspeaker, etc. are to blurry, because of the motion blurr AND the unsharpness.
On the third image I do not get why the person standing there in that weird outfit. maybe for the storytelling would be better if he is hlding a sharpie, too?! The next Image seem to be a Detailed view of the corner of that room. I ASSUME that in the shelf should be also the person, but I can't see it because it's too dark. For the Storytelling purpose i am not sure what sequence it should be, should the boxes be unpacked or packed, etc.
All in all maybe a bit more details in the picture and less distracting stuff. Hope it helps.

I like it and especially the colours (reminds me of scotland where I live)
If I was to say / ask anything, it has a very very shallow depth of field for a landscape image and so looks more like a miniature ~ like tilt shift images. 🙂

It would be very difficult to create this type of animation in Photoshop. It would equally be difficult in After Effects but that's the best choice.

Ah, that would be simpler. I thought you implied that you were going to animate the force field breaking down. May I suggest you finish the image and then animate it in Premiere Pro. Much easier than PS with keyframes.

I feel like you need to start all over. You're trying to get a message across. The World Youth Skills Day. I think a picture of the world in the background would be a better option, opposed to a non descript building. Put the Earth on a nice color background, and start from there. I think finding adolescents would be a better option, than grown business people. I don't see how the people correlate to the message. Maybe apply some small images of the skills that will be active the day of the event. That's just my opinion, but I've made similar digital content, and I'd go another route.

Earlier, they shared this image which shows the pattern(s) a lot better. I think you could make one of those "perforated stripes" and then copy/paste and flip it. Then some sort of mezzotint underneath it.

I think this image looks great, but the hierarchy is a little unclear. In your original version, the planet was the star of the show. The mountains provided a stage. In your newer version, the mountains are now visually more important. But also, the mountain and the planet are close enough in scale to compete with each other. It was suggested that you pull back the planet some (I'd scale it down a bit too) if you want the viewer to focus on the mountain. Or scale down the mountains if you want to keep the planet as the focus. Neither direction is better than the other. It's just a matter of what story you want to tell. But again, it looks great.

Sand has density to it. There would be "edges" as opposed to looking like a cloud. I would work on that part.

Also, wet sand would be darker in tone than dry sand. That might be difficult to depict at this aspect ratio.

I wouldn't put text that close to the edges of the layout. There should always be some margin (and usually equal margins) around text. (You could just move "Cookie" down a little bit.)

Yeah it took me I think 2 days cuz I saw Temi's inspo & he also made a photoshop tutorial that was fast, but rlly helped me further understand

So this one was my 1st Series project also back in 2022! I took inspo from the "A Poster A Day" idea from several artists and wanted to try it out but failed HAHA

So I revamped it to "JUST KEEP GOIN' " present day

And restarted the count

for photo manipulation its just more common to make it look realistic

its really all about creativity tho and making it look like how you want it to
