Before you go to too much effort though Whisper. The image you attached above is a tiny resolution.

I image that if you're planning to stream, you'll be streaming at 1080 x 1920... that 'dashboard' is less than half that size

Make sure to check out "streaming overlay template" on google for some better ones.

Just not sure how you think you're going to do the layout properly. For the best quality print, you probably want to create it as vector art using Adobe Illustrator. The app/subscription costs money and there is a learning curve.

If you're doing this yourself in Photoshop, you have to create the document at the required size and set the DPI/PPI to 300 as they suggest.

It may be difficult depending on the size of the banner and the amount (and type) of assets required for the design.

Well... there is a lot there. You're def gonna want to get very comfortable with making and refining selections as well as the notion of layer masks. Photo-bashing is going to require a lot of that. Removing backgrounds by making selections and then masking them out.

There are really a lot of techniques but those are crucial.

Not necessarily. You just have to find images that might work well together. And sometimes when they don't work well together, you manipulate the pixels in various ways until they do. heh

Like I said earlier, you can make images by combining multiple images together which may not require a lot "drawing/painting" skill. However, you still have to have an eye for composition, color, light, shadow, balance, etc. Photoshop is a tool. It doesn't do the work for you.

3D does not work well in Photoshop; it is being phased out and moved to other apps. I'd steer clear of those features.

It's better to use Layer Masks to hide pixels rather than to erase them. Erasing is permanent. This is why I told you about Layer Masks earlier.

both ends of your gradient have to be the same color if you are in gradient editor. you can do it faster if you just pick the 'foreground to transparent' preset
