There doesn't appear to be any reported outages with Creative Cloud so it might be something on your computer. Firewall, corrupted hosts file, something like that.

Well, luckily, you don't really need the CC app that much if you're already verified your subscription. You should be able to use Adobe apps even if that thing won't load up.

It's a combination of tools and techniques. Painting, Cloning, Smudging, etc. You don't need Generative Fill for this but you could do it that way, I suppose.

I'm not against using Gen Fill. I love Gemini. But, honestly, I'm not sure Gemini could find and remove the text without altering the image in negative ways.

Gemini does it but removes the border and changes the composition slightly. Even after being told explicitly not to change anything else. So its easier to just paint it than struggling to find the perfect prompt.

Note: I made this with live shapes to keep the design editable but you can achieve the same effect with brushes with different levels of softness.
Using live shapes let you adjust colors choice and feathering afterwards...
Linear dodge blending mode can gives interresting looks if you place a dark and foggy background (like on your image reference)

I don't know of any "clearing house" that supplies data like that. Generally, it's copyrighted and DCMA content that can't be used legally without written permission from the copyright holder. People do it but they do it illegally. Most people are left alone unless they are trying to earn money from the content, (selling promotions like on YouTube), selling products (like merch using a company's IP) or they are disparaging their IP or brand. For the most part, companies like Disney/Marvel and Nintendo have zero tolerance for any usage.

One-offs, fan art, non-monetized use might be tolerated but there aren't any guarantees. For legal questions about "fair use", you should consult an attorney.

There are shortcut keys for the Timeline. Unfortunately, they only apply to the Video Timeline. Not the Frame-based Timeline.

I’m using 32-bit color and around 500 resolution, and I scale them to 2560×1440 to try to keep them high quality, but they still look worse after uploading. If you are using 32 bit colours for a thumbnail that will be shown on devices that only allow for 8 bits display, then you're really looking for trouble

It really depends on how the platform that hosts your thumbnails dislay them

If they display them at - say - 1000 px wide, then there's no point of feeding it 300 px wide images, because the platform will likely use a rescaling algorihmn that is worse in terms of quality than the one Photoshop has

Feed it the size and bit depth it needs from the start -> 1000 px wide at 8 bits and perfect it - in that size - in Photoshop first

32 bit images are really for specific purposes and creating thumbnails isn't one

Also, please avoid DMing people for specific questions: Ask them publicly

The short answer to the question is that you need to locate the size the platform wants your thumbnails in, and create your thumbnail in that size in pixels. The dpi is irrelevant since it's a screen based thumbnail, not a printed one: Leave it at 72. and leave it 8 bits too since most screens only display 8 bits.
If your platform asks for 1200 x 800 pix image: Just create it at 1200 x 800, and make sure it looks good at that size, displayed in Photoshop at 100% (that last bit is very important)

That's the only way to avoid the platform making changes to your image

Hello, personally I have worked in this field and still do when I get time. It’s not just abt your skills, it’s abt your patience as well. It’s a high paying job only if you are ready to put your most of the time and mind in this profession. It asks for your time. You won’t be getting big projects whole time and always and absolutely not in the beginning. It will take long time to first create your position in this market, you May also have to work for small projects with very little wage in the start but that’s necessary for a good experience and how to handle various types of clients with various ideas in their minds. It’s abt implementation as well. It’s ofc a high paying job but forget abt money for some initial time because you won’t get those big orders until you got a really strong and appealing portfolio which ofc you will create after working for small projects. Sometimes you might have to do it for free. It may sound unfair but in any field like logo making, graphic designs, or even today the digital artist have to maintain a good portfolio to attract the right clients. All I can say is that step in this field only if you are mentally ready to face it’s harsh side. And don’t expect you will have to suffer only now and later you will get client after client, there are times where you might not get clients for one month or something because it May get unpredictable. And the right people still go for the web designers but some people have started to use AI and stuff which is ofc bad and an insult to web designers. But the right clients are still there who are ready to pay you any amount for your work. So make your work strong enough. I don’t think this server chat was the right place to ask this question as it’s abt photoshop, but anyways I hope this helps you. My advice is to make sure you are patient enough and mentally ready, otherwise don’t think you will be able to pull it.

There isn't going to be an easy way unless you have this in Layers (as separate pieces). Otherwise you'll have to attempt to chop it up and make changes on individual sections. Based on your question, I'm assuming you only have this one flattened image and not the components that created it. (?)

Now I see the Gemini watermark in the corner... You can try to ask Gemini to "remove all the bars and crossbeams" (or something similar) or just try generating individual elements, like the gargoyle things and the bars. Then piece it together with Photoshop.

Otherwise, you're going to have to find someone skilled in Photoshop who can attempt to chop this up into component parts. But that is likely to cause some problems as well.

Straight talk... You're never going to get Gemini to render the thing exactly as you want and/or at the correct size you need. The proper way to create this (probably the only way) is to ask Gemini to render pieces of this which you then assemble in Photoshop.

I really don't know. It's a computer graphics app that runs on a screen. Thus, "EVERYTHING" gets rasterized as its displayed. That's how display devices work. Everything in a Photoshop Document is constantly being rendered in real-time as you perform operations inside the app. As I said above.

Everything you see on your screen is rasterized. Even vector graphics are bound to a grid when they get displayed on your screen. Because screens have pixel resolutions.

Hover your mouse over the pattern thumbnail in the panel. A tooltip should appear showing the pixel dimensions.

This also assumes that the user has "Tooltips" enabled in Preferences. Enabling tooltips depends on the version they're using. Currently its: Edit > Preferences > Notifications > Tooltips.... In older versions of Photoshop, its: Edit > Preferences > Tools > Show Tooltips...

If you want to know the original tile dimension (without any repeat) of any pattern, open your patterns panel then hover the thumbnail of the pattern you want to know the original dimensions => after 1 or 2 seconds you shouls see a tag popping and showing you info about the hovered pattern.

If you plan to use this pattern for a web site (if I understood well all the messages) => create a file with the original dimension of the desired pattern (128x128px for this example), add a pattern layer with scale 100% then export this file in the format you want to use in your web application (gif,jpg,png...)

Hover the thumbnail till you get the original dimension of the pattern tile.
Set your canvas size to this dimension(3873x3873px in this video), apply the pattern style to the whole canvas and set pattern scale to 100%.
Rasterize Layer Style then Select All the canvas and go to Edit/Define Pattern with the selection active to create a new pattern.
Name it and place it where you want to find it later or export it as .pat file (backup)...

In addition, if the file in which this pattern is used was created by someone else or on a computer other than your own, the pattern may not appear in your pattern file but may instead be embedded directly in the Layer style itself.
If it's the case you won't have any other choice than recreate it as shown in the previous video (to get a .pat) or if you want share the psd file using this particular layer Fx (with the pattern I can do it for you, it's 2min job max)...

Making something look "cinematic" requires more than just color grading; lighting and composition play a bigger part in that. If you're looking for easy wins... Adobe Premiere has Lumetri with a lot film stock presets. Photoshop has Adobe Camera Raw which also has a number of different presets. Keeping in mind those only change hue and tone. It doesn't help something that is poorly light or poorly framed.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. The link I pasted above demos a Fisheye effect in Photoshop. Not After Effects.

And if the After Effects filter is faster and easier, then just use that. As I said, it would be a process in Photoshop to create this. There isn't a one-shot filter that does it.

Unless someone has made a Photoshop Plugin that does it. You'd have to search for that.

Photoshop isn't a 3D app. Those are simulated effects. If you want a true 3D lens distortion like that, you'll probably need to write a 3D shader to do this properly.

After Effects has a 3D engine to pull off effects like that. Hence, why it has that Filter.

I don't know for plugins but to backup Brushes, Gradients (and many others settings like Patterns,Styles, custom shapes...etc) loaded in your current Photoshop installation, you can backup the .psp files located in the "Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings" folder before re-installing Photoshop on another disk
=>C:\Users\ "YOUR USER NAME"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026\Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings
Once you've installed Photoshop on the other disk you can replace the .psp files by your backups (on the new drive location) before relaunching Photoshop.

Please try taking a new shot (the resolution should still be good enough) with the magnification reduced by a factor of 10. You might also want to add some strong but diffuse white ambient lighting.

The better the source image, the fewer editing steps are required. As high-resolution as necessary – but please, not as high-resolution as possible!

That’s too much. With this microscope’s ! inadequate! lighting, the (excessively) high magnification factor results in too many overexposed colour and light artefacts.

You can try to expand your canvas with the crop tool set to 2:3 ration then use generative expand to fill empty areas.
You may need to fix a few imperfections, but the generated image will save you time...
Otherwise, you'll have to retouch the missing areas yourself or crop your image vertically (I don't think you want to do that: some soldiers would be cut out of the frame)

Few perspective corrections and weird details to clean but most of the work is done...

Every post was getting auto-modded (because it contained profanity) so they accused me of censoring them. Then they started DM-ing me instead. When they said "f--k your mother" that was end.

Yeah. The accounts are hacked and the account spams the images. However, Discord has a security team. They can identify patterns. Either they're inept or they can't figure out a way to disallow the pattern without whacking legit posts.
