see the H and the ç ? i want to get rid of it but i want to keep the lines. So step 1 I removed the letters (select by color panel + shift +f5) . step 2 I have added the lines, the pattern is based on a circles centered concentrically so I have cut and pasted in the back of the main pic and rotated the pasted the pic by moving the anchor point at the center of the pattern.

step 3 same on the other side for symmetry then erased the useless parts. and make a nice joint but now I have a problem that's where i need help.

we still can see the changes the the lines the the pasted pics. and the colors variation mess up the illusion.

generally:
What "sharepen" does is increase the contrast of areas with different tones, and "Radius" is the amount of area on either side of that area taken into account for the increase of contrast.
Actually it's easy to see what it does in Photoshop.
So in short, shrapen doesn't really shrpen, it gives the impression of less blur but actually fakes it (That's why people who want to get sharp images from blurry images are in for a shock)
So if you reduce the radius, you restrict the effect o a smaller area around the zone that will appear sharper

Of course Lr mobile is a stripped down version of Lr Classic (on desktop) so it's actually easier to figure out on Desktop (also the screen is very small on a mobile so obviously not the ideal way of grading images)

Please help me. When I apply any text style to any small text, it always looks distorted, for example, drop shadow and other effects. I need to make the text very large, then rasterize the layer type and make it small enough to look nice. Is there any way to make it look nice on small text? How many pixels is your canvas?

It looks like the canvas is only a couple of inches high. - if the layer is 1 inch high, that woud suggest that the canvas is only perhaps 2-3 inches... - high.

If you're set to 72ppi, this would mean your canvas is only 200 pixels or so high which is TIIIINY 🙂

I just make them at 1280.

Because the max file size is 2MB. This means if you make it at 1920, you have to save as JPEG and reduce the quality down. Thus, the image might look bad.

Particularly, text can look awful with heavy JPEG compression.

If for some reason they don't want to sync, you will need to to transfer the images from your phone to your computer, create (or let LrC create) a new catalogue, load the images into that catalogue and start working on them.
You can create a catalogue first, create a synced folder for the future, and make sure you are obviously signed in with THE SAME ADOBE ACCOUNT on both devices.

Open the Windows File Explorer. Right-click on the InDesign File. Go to Properties. Check the "Opens With" field. Hit the "Change" button and locate the .exe on disk that you want the file to open with by default.

If the app is at its default location, its probably something like C:\Program Files\Adobe\ [App Directories]

Normally, an INDD opens in the latest version. INDD files are downward compatible.

BUT: Unlike in Photoshop (PSD), for example, an INDD file can normally NOT be opened with an older version (than the version in which it was saved). You have to use the exchange formats (e.g. IDML).

Normally yes. IDML was developed as an exchange format. However, it is not really a format for constantly switching back and forth between different versions. A conversion takes place each time. Unfortunately, this can also lead to losses.

You need to ask/search the documentation. It's tricky to get the dimensions from a photo, because photos have distortions (always), and perspective (always as well), unless the product is flat, you cannot be absolutely sure of the dimensions.

You can only assume that the part closest to you willl be the most accurate, so you can maybe get a rough measurement of the section of one of the red bars, based on the lengh of one of the floor bars.

But that means you will need more photographic references from the manufacturer, even if those refs don't contain the measurements (you won't care since you already have them.)
If you're using Photoshop, you can also overlay references like he does in Blender so we're still on topic.

Looks like a fabric texture added on top (probably lower opacity, multiply or overlay mode)
You can search online (some are even repeating textures so you can use them as a pattern)

If you can find one that is black and white, go for it, or otherwise you'll have to make it BW for it to work like in your example...

That's a cool photo, First and foremost I would recommend taking it through Camera Raw by hitting on the top dropdown meny filters/convert to smartfilters (so you can easily undo it at the cost of having a larger file)/filters again/camera raw

That will definitely give you a leg up as far as transforming your photo to look better but it isn't the go-to for cool effects. There are a lot of good tutorial creators out there, including things like 10-30 minute "learn the basic" general ones that I would consider an essential start. Some examples I'd recomend looking out for are Piximperfect, Phlearn, Photoshop Training Channel, Adobe all have created a robust library of tutorials on youtube. I believe masking is the most important thing to learn, which iscolates parts of an image enabling you to make everything black and white but keep the masked part colored as just a begining example.

But it's a stroke, and the way it's been drawn like that, with sharp angles, is likely to have been drawn manually. An "automatic" stroke, in any app, will follow closely the shape it's been applied on

So in this case, and in Photoshop, someone took the pen tool, created a shape with sharp angles and filled that shape with blue, making sure the shape was on a layer placed underneath the guy's layer.

Your image was photographed at an angle. First rotate the entire layer by -1.5°

Then move the ‘centre point’ = 'pivot point' to the optical centre of your ‘lines’ and rotate by 30°.
Press Enter.
Repeat the transformation with Shift+Ctrl+Alt+T as often as necessary.

This server is administered by Adobe, using Adobe resources, it would be cheeky to expect them to offer help for their competitors.
I suspect you won't find much love for Adobe on Canva servers. They would hate giving any help on Photoshop, or their direct competitor, Adobe Express.

You mightwant to use a simple perspective transform. Select the path, CTRL+T to enter transform mode, right click on the layer to select perspective transform and now click and drag the anchor pints to distort it. If the perspective is a bit odd, you can try free transform instead, when you right click. That way you can move each anchor point individually.
I would recommend placing your reference in another layer to it can serve as guides

Ultimately you have a filter called "vanishing point which is a little more complex, but here is a tutorial:

Again, having the reference on the same file helps a lot.

these are purely 2D solution, so dependent on the resolution. Distorting shapes usually affect the way the shape looks so make sure you don't work with images that are too small

you need to separate your frame from the rest (That will be tricky) and then you can create another layer from the selection, you can go Layer>new layer from cut... That way you'll have a layer for he middle and one layer for the frame. Then you can duplicate (CTRL+J) each layers as you wish

Yup, that's opaque! Depending on how you made it transparent, you might not be able to undo it. I would recommend just making a new shape with shapes or pen tool, to replace the mainGUI layer. Should be the easiest way to do it.

I think that's a decent fix if you're working with really complex shapes, to the point where recreating them would be very difficult. But for something like this it would be more simple to delete and redo it from scratch I think. With duplicating you're running into the issue of having more artifacted edges

Everything is hard to learn in a sense. It's easier to do that kind of stuff in Illustrator IMHO, because thts'a what illustrator have been built for.
Photoshop - the clue's in the name - have been built to retouch photos and drawing, not for vector work. It does a bit of it, but it's rather limited

It's a bit of a curve but I recommend learning it. I had been using Photoshop only for many years and hated Illustrator until I was forced to learn it, and while I absolutely hate working with Illustrator brushes, I think it's really good for anything that you can make with shapes. And it's a lot!

The way I would explain it is this: Photoshop is for layering effects. A lot of transparent bits added onto an image to transform the picture. Illustrator is for creating that image from scratch, building up the shapes.

So for the UI you've got there, I would create all the UI boxes in Illustrator, including the patterns in the back. Even possibly the transparency, depending on the project. Then export them in a few layers and in Photoshop add the images like the character with the armor on top and the image in the background. Here I wouldn't even touch Photoshop for anything other than the images. and maybe a few glow effects on the text elements

So if that's so, you need to simplify it. I won't blame you, but I have a bit of advice that I wish someone gave me when I was starting (in another discipline, I'm a photo retoucher)
Only take on jobs if you're already know what you're doing.
If you don't know what you're doing, only accept the job once you've learned, and basically when it's already done
Ie: I'm learning 3D now. If someone comes to me with a 3D project, I will ask about the brief and only say yes if the project is already complete. The time I spent learning won't be part of the project, it's a learning opportunity.

I wanted to try out the blue pattern so I recreated this (Illustrator). Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the full black background in the original ui. I like the way it was in World with the whole character showing in the room

In Illustrator: Create shape by tracing around the border design with pen tool, select the stroke width with no fill, then expand. To expanded shape add gold fill and black stroke. Create the inner shape either with pen tool or with multiple rectangle shapes then combine those. Set this to 30% opacity. For the pattern you can make it pretty simple but I chose to create it into a pattern which was an extra step. But for the design, use pen tool and hold shift for 90 degree angle and duplicate the little arrow multiple times, it's just a pen tool path with a stroke. I chose to expand it for the pattern. And the diamonds are just squares rotated.
