You can always change it one way is to: hold CTRL and Left click on the thumbnail of the Tshirt and you will automatically select the outline

You can do this with as many layers as you want. Makes it easier the more features you add. Its not advisable to just draw all in one layer incase you needed to alter a feature

Many ways to do this, you can always create a new document 4k x 4k and go to File > Place Linked and arrange them in the correct order. The Place linked allows you to edit the files seperatly and when you save it will update accordingly on the main 4x4 sheet

You could try using the Camera Raw filter to add exposure masks (both increased exposure, and decreased exposure) along the wall to create some uniformity. Convert the image to a smart object, and go to Filter > Camera Raw Filter, hit 'M' (for mask), click Brush, and brush over the lighter areas, then move the exposure slider. Repeat for darker areas and boost exposure.

Idk if distort is the right word but you usually use this feature when you are aligning an object into the scene and you gotta move the corners irnto the right axis and such...

Learn how to do something, basically a team member at work used to use AI to generate backgrounds which I know how to do no big deal, but then he would go through and impliment in product images and the products would somehow look like they were also created by the ai

Try: Neural Filters > Harmonization... as a quick test. It might work for some. Others might require real/manual color gradiing.

There are probably many on YouTube. Get familiar with Adobe Camera Raw (as a Smart Filter attached to a Layer). That one filter can do a ton of work. Also, what I suggested above. Neural Filters > Harmonization.

Select the thing on the desktop. Rename. Clear the current name. Then hold the ALT key and type 2 5 5 and then ENTER

That should work.

Has anyone got any tips for extremely large resolution project files? The images in the project are black and white, no grey, it’s literally just an extremely large photoshop document of stitched together images of various 4K screenshots.

The goal is web, it’s a game preservation type situation where the more detail the better

It’s a 2D map squashed into a single image, specifically the 2D hitbox, which is why it’s only black and white

It’s similar to a panoramic image, where I have taken multiple 4K screenshots and I’m trying to stitch them together. I’ve gotten very far, and the scratch disks never fill up, but my ram is slowly running out (26gb out of 32gb)

it's perfectly normal for big dimension files to take a lot of ram. psd files are compressed files and Ps uses ram to load everything to be available at all times

if you don't do any serious image manipulation in Ps, you could try using Illustrator. it handles big pixel sizes quite different and if you only position and crop then it might speed up your work quite a bit

I kind of got the problem, (this is only a concept and ive just added box props that i drew too)

So it is indeed the metal floor image, the lines should go smaller and more patterned into the details, whereas i dont want to go the long way, now i realise i gotta draw the entire floor again. even the rectangle pit needs a lot of detail as well as everything else

does photoshop have anything that i can use instead of drawing each and every box? ive just multiplied it and adjusted the brightness levels

but the boxes are metal boxes, some bolted and screwed with metal scraps, some plain metal boxes with screws on the corners

they are generally like the ones you'd find in ikea

That's a very easy 3D app, that "stages" models. You don't have much options to build models, but you can use standard primitives and also a few extra models, you can also import models you found elsewhere.
The important bit is that you can set cameras (with depth of field etc) and also you can match your scene to an existing image (I love that one)
So you don't have to place your models, the software does it for you

Hey everyone! I am a 15 y/o Swedish Orienteer. I recently represented my country at an international competition between some of the Nordic countries. I came in third place and I am very proud of this achievement and wanted to post it to my instagram. But there are some imperfections that I kinda want to fix. I’ve tried by myself on different photoshop platforms to

1. Erase the grey umbrella to the right. I was successful in this but making the gap-lines from the wooden boards in the background was a bit too hard for me. I tried making it look more like there was a rain spot on the camera by blurring it a bit further.

2. Behind each representative on the podium their flag hangs. But the wind blew the norweigan flag on the second place runner to the side. This I’ve tried to fix by first removing the flag completely and adding a new flag over it. But I can’t really make it realistic enough.

If any kind soul is willing to help me with this I would me delighted. If you are not able to help then all sorts of tips are welcome.

Adobe removing literally every single effect in the most recent premiere pro update

To prioritize performance and reduce bottlenecks we have limited premiere pro to simply splicing and nothing else. 😬

Same thing with photoshop they literally removed the 3d text tool just because they felt like it

I've done a few 3D projects with Photoshop in my time and it was always a less than stellar experience. I am now using either Dimension (soon will learn Substance) or Blender (Learning experience not stellar as well, but at least it works)
Sometimes you need to let go of things nobody uses.
The 3D experience is WAAAAAAYYYY better in Illustrator than it was in Photoshop by the way

My two cents: People are sometimes so fixed in their way that it blocks any innovation for the rest of the users (I'm looking at you Illustrator nerds 🙂 )
The reason why some Adobe software never evolve? Change the size of an icon, and half the internet is ready to grab their pitchfork.

If you want to fix it in PS, the easiest route would probably to select the area and ask GenAI to fill it (don't write anything in the prompt field and click "generate"

Alternatively, you need to buy a thinner lens hood if you still need one. Generally the maker indicates the angle it covers. If you buy a lens hood for a tele zoom and put it on a fish-eye, then it won't fit because the field of view is bigger than on the telezoom.

If you don't have a lens hood or anything else that covers your lens then you got an issue with the inside of the lens.

I just remember you have to be very careful. I remember selecting the cheaper "/mo" for Photoshop not realizing I only got it cheaper because it was a year subscription. That was the fine print.. and if you cancel early you get charged a considerable fee.

You have multiple options:
First Photoshop plan: It comes in two flavours: Either Just Photoshop, or the Photography plan
If you take just Photoshop, you're losing out.
But if you take one of the two photography plans, you're winning 🙂

Secondly, there are 3 ways to pay:
Month by month: it's the most expensive, but the upside is that you can cancel anytime.

Then you can pay for the whole year: Either one full sum at the beginning, or each month (like a payment plan): The price shouldn't differ by much (I can't tell you exactly because it depends on the country you're in)

I've always chose to pay each month for the whole year, it's the most manageable

Then you may want to invest in having more than just Photoshop & Lightroom. In that case you can either add a specific software, and there is no specific "plan" (or promotion) for them, only for Photoshop. So if you plan to use more than 2 besides PS, then a full CC is the best value for money.

If you don't want the Home screen on start-up go to the préférences menu and Uncheck "Auto show the Home scree " button

You can't. You will have to either move them to a new location or delete them from your computer. If you've already moved or deleted them, click on it once. Photoshop won't find the file and it will remove it from the list.

Select the subject you want to make silhouette with then create a new layer and fill the selection in white.
You can use the paint bucket tool or brush to fill it, just be sure to set foreground color to white.

Ok take the original picture then use "object selection" you 'll get a selection of your object/subject (doted line around) then click on mask icon.

@true apex :Make the mask active by clicking on its thumbnail (the solid B&W thumbnail on the right) if active: when you paint on it with black you'll mask your image if you paint on it with white you'll reveal your image. Doing so you should be able to clean parts you don't want.

Yep... Be sure the mask is active in layer panel (should have a white outline around the mask thumbnail) before.
