What's the size of the document? Main menu: Image > Image Size... A common error is people make the document too large by choosing the incorrect unit type, i.e. centimeters when they actually wanted pixels.

If you're trying to create 3D shapes like that, it would probably be easier using an app suitable for doing that. Substance 3D tools, Blender, etc. In Photoshop, you'd have to try and "fake" the effect.

You're not going to be able to fix this by typing in a prompt. The photo doesn't seem very good quality to begin with. Some of it, it's completely oversaturated by light streaks. That would probably need to be painted or cloned to fix.

If you don't know how to do that, you would have to learn how to use the tools in Photoshop to fix, repair, i.e. cover up, paint over, those areas.

Normally sizes like 1920 x 1080 work out a lot

But what I do is

I make a massive size (not big to the point my laptop crashes)

And zoom in enough so I can draw/paint with a good quality (with very high resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080, it takes way more zoom ins so see a lower quality image/pixels)

And when I'm done, I just resize/crop my art and voila!

I do this for all my pixel artworks in Photoshop

Also regarding psd file sizes uh, you could back then up to a spare USB or hardrive or cloud service like google drive/MediaFire

Usbs with good storage are kinda cheap so that's your best bet f you wanna save huge PSD files

The issue with things on wall is that it's hard to get an uneven lighting. You could with a lightbox or a powerful good quality ring light, but trying to match the right side from the left side when the product is lit from a side window, in post production, can be tedious

Also you can try GenAI, I think it will help, possibly as a start for further retouching. You might also consider redrawing bits with brushes in Photoshop.

I had creative cloud downloaded along with ps, premier and illustrator. For various reasons I had to reset my PC and reinstall Windows. After doing that I logged back into my Adobe acc but wasn't able to download those apps because "my device didn't meet the requirements" even tho I literally had them 5 hours earlier and hadn't made any changes to my PC. You have an enhance function in ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) which is available with Photoshop.
The easiest way is to access it through Bridge (It's a file viewer/productivity tool that ships for free with any creative app from Adobe)
Or you can have the super zoom neural filter within Photoshop (Filter>neural filters)
Unless you need crazy amounts of upscaling, then they perform better than Upscayl (I made the tests), I would say up to 4X, Adobe wins.
Further than that, you will need third party apps.

i have this pattern, how can i make the gradient overlay show only on the squares, the squares themselves are on a pattern overlay on a layer. ive tried different blending options but i cant seem to get this to work. im completely new to photoshop so any help is appreciated

Right click while having the gradient layer immediately on top of the squares layer and clip them together

If they are in the same layer try to tick one of the knock out option in the layer styles

"blend interior effects as a group" I think it is (You'll need to test the knowout depth in the dropdown menu)
Also try to tweak the "fill" while having the opacity at 0

The issue is that you have both things as effects instead of having the checkered BG as a pattern layer

so you are mixing things that aren't "real" pixels so it's difficult to give you an advice

Try to get a new checkered layer as a new pattern layer and see if it's easier

You need to create a mask in the shape of a rectangle that constrains the layer to that mask
