How come when I add a drop shadow to a text layer then go to add a drop shadow to a new layer of an image the drop shadow on the text will change to what I put the drop shadow to on the image layer

If you are adding drop shadows via layer styles, check that you don't have "use global light" checked in both. One change of the angle will affect all the drop shadows (you have that same tick box also in other effects)

OK, I took some time to test it between jobs
It works but with a few caveats
1- when you save either as a preset or setting, you need to tick "masking" so it's taken into account. This is not the default

at the bottom

AND
2- You cannot use a method of masking that is "automatic" (such as object or subject selection, sky etc.)
Because, when you will apply the settings to the new photo, it will try to adapt the automatic selection according to the new subject
Of course, if the subject is the same, at the exact same place, then it's all good, but if they're different in shape, position, then you'll get a new selection, not the old one

That said, if you have plenty of images with the same mask, then what you can do is open them all in Bridge via right click "open in Adobe Camera Raw", you'll get a film strip on the sides with all the images. Click on one, select them all (CTRL+A), the first one will be displayed in full, do what you want to do, not using the automatic selection tools (same restriction as before) and you'll see the changes syncing across all images.

I am not sure you will get this exact effect (that of the movie) but there are workflows to create a cartoon effect. There is no one button filter though, it's just a sequence of actions, that you may want to automate (through something called actions: Some people distribute free or paid for, such actions)

You can turn each layer into a smart object, mask it (either with a vector mask or standard mask: I'd recommend vector here)and then choose "replace content" (right click on the layer and choose in the list)

smart layers with a vector mask (and there will be images in your case), and a right click will allow to replace those images. If the original image have been transformed, than the replaced one will keep that transformation (You can still tweak that after the fact, just unlink the vector mask from the layer so the vector mask isn't transformed as well)

If all the images to be replaced are the same size then it will save you some time in transforming, the first transform will be the right one

First, you have to be running a recent version of Photoshop that includes that feature. Then you need to be creating rectangles in "Shape" mode rather than pixels. Select the Rectangle Tool and look at the options bar at the top of interface.

Some of us even provide quick "how-to" videos if its something that doesn't take extended amounts of time.

Photoshop (.PSD) doesn't do "version control." If you save to the Creative Cloud and use the Photoshop Cloud (.PSDC) format, it can do some versioning of the file.

This doesn't help right now though.

Yeah. If you've saved and closed the file then its saved in that state. The state it was in when it was saved. If the file was still open, you might be able to use "undo" and the History Panel to roll back. This doesn't help after the file has been closed. The History is cleared after the file is closed.

If the file won't open then there "might" be file corruption. The file itself might be damaged or the area of the hard disk it was saved to might be bad. It can be difficult to discern which.

Sometimes Windows can repair areas of the disk that are bad and recover files. However, the outcome isn't often positive. Also, that type of support is beyond the scope of this server.

Just a reminder to people conducting freelance work or hiring here that it's up to them to take upfront payments or only deliver work after payment is made in the case of the one doing the work (by suplying watermarked low res proofs for example), or conducting due diligence on the part of the one who hires (does the freelancer have a website/behance profile, do they seem legit?) and pay with means that authorise a chargeback in case of breach of contract.

Every time I try to rescale a logo much smaller it just gets all pixelated and I need it to be high quality but a small size can someone help me

You need to understand how raster images work. Raster images are created by putting colored squares into a grid. When you reduce the size of a raster image (i.e. the grid), there aren't as many pixels to approximate the shapes. Visual fidelity and quality loss are likely going to be the result. Especially when you reduce a large, detailed image to a very small size. Hope this helps.

Proper professional logos should be created with vector graphics. They should be well-defined shapes that are not too complicated. Then they may be reduced down to the size of a small icon and are still legible.

If you are talking about the black soft border around the image, that is called a vignette. It was initially a problem from old lenses that weren't good enough to distribute light evenly across the frame (You can see that in silent movies for example) but have since been used to draw attention of the viewer to the center (the lighter area)

I think it looks really good. The only thing I am less sure of, is the white text with an outline. Not that it looks bad in isolation, but the overall feel is that of a fat typeface, and that tiny outline feels a bit weak in comparison. I would add a thicker outline but even more to the point, a thick shadow instead of a stroke, or even the two combined

More importantly, you need to test things out and make sure that there is no element that feels out of place because it's too thick, or too thin

But I am really nit-picking there!

Consider that Photoshop can by default display the colour box in HSB
Meaning you can easily keep the same saturation and Brightness as your reference by changing the H (hue) value, and leaving S (saturation) and B (Brightness) intact.
In short only move the side bar and stop at the colour of your choice.
If you want colours that "fit" well in a scientific manner, try https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel
And check the methods on the left. Split complementary can be a good start

The layer is probably a Smart Object. Which means you can't draw on it directly. You'd probably want to make a new layer and put it above that one. Or you could Rasterize the Smart Object.

I can't fix the margins, the bottom border is not perfect and somehow I got some blue borders around the big dark blue ones.

As I said - I would probably work with Illustrator. But since you want to work in PS and you have vectors in Illustrator anyway: yes. Import everything into Photoshop as vector shapes.

We can't take JPEGs in Ps and get all the separate layers that were originally on there. The simple way to make a JPG or PNG and Ps Doc is just by opening it in Photoshop and saving a copy, but that won't change a thing.

Tbh, I’d keep the beige color and change the white color to a dark beige/brownish color. You might need to mess with the color picker until you find one you like. As for the text, the red looks good, but I’d choose a different font, something like the BackCountry font.
