If it's in Photoshop. To add a text, you need to create a new taxt layer. It automatically applies to all frames. It's up to you to trim it if you want to. You'll get a new "layer" in the timeline as well for this spacific text

To remove a specific part - in photoshop - you need to remove it separately for every frame. There is no roto-brush or anything similar in Photoshop

It feels like the middle of the day. So shadow edges should be very harsh under the direct sun. While I think your shadows are pretty good, I think they might be a little soft.

I am speaking from experience as I did participate in the illustrator challenges a few years ago after a big gap in my illustrator use, and it got me on track in no time. There is nothing like assignments to get you on the right track

in this case, the workflow would be color range selecting the grey to retreive the alpha anyhow and then trying to fix the spill. Are you familiar with how masks work in Photoshop?

Select the uppermost layer. Then create a "merged copy" of all the layers using the following keyboard command: Shift Ctrl Alt E. Then you could convert the layer to a Smart Object... (right-click on the layer, choose "Convert to Smart Object"). Then apply your Camera Raw Filter.

why do the images i get from google are in so bad quality?

Because they maybe only made to look "good" on the screen?! Not sure what you want and what you expect for those images. Pictures for screen should be loaded fast on every device so they are small, have little detail, etc. For print you need better / bigger resolution and size. Thats totally normal.

It entirely depends on the video. I assume they mean 2 dollars per minute of video, not on their editing time. I mean... if you assume the Avatar movie is 3 hours long, and cost about 237 million to produce, that movie cost more than 1 million USD a minute.

That design asks for two coins/logos, and just one logo is very prizey.
Both of those should probably be made in Illustrator first, after that effects added in Photoshop for such a thumbnail, with a box in center.
One logo design starts with $300, so good luck with that.

Most of my actual paid work is already being used in commercial projects or it's for private internal projects and/or it often looks very boring, like a military shipyard drone shot, a floor with 65 different carpets superimposed in, a digger with different headlights, a bath with different taps, or a handful of pull-up banners with a colour overlay on them.

In fact, the reason I'm often on here posting more interesting examples, designs, etc - is because my own work is so boring to the casual observer 🙂 If you do a search for my name here in discord, you'll probably find a bunch of designs and examples I've posted. - Where I've suggested alternative layouts or colours for their own designs.

Generally, no. It will not save all of the editable options. Save the Photoshop Document (.psd). PDF is a different format for different purposes.

You don't need to be afraid of it. 😄 I believe its literally one of the best things that happened. If you use GIMP then you will realise how good photoshop is. In Gimp, you are the worker and will do everything. Ps is like co worker who will do half of the job. After a while you will feel, your creativity/ability is restricted by Time and things are not impossible but just tedious. That is when you should use Ai. If you think it as a game, the moment you use Ai + Photoshop. You can feel the power which is unimaginable and unstoppable.
