Make sure you're cutting/copying on the correct Layer. Open the Layers Panel and see which Layer is active. Window > Layers (or F7 on the kb).

you can make it green by doing a color range selection and adding a layer mask of green or just doing a layer style > color overlay with the selection

Perhaps ask the plugin maker to fix it. Digital Utopia (or whomever it is). Either way, someone would need the source code. Downloading and unpacking some random RAR file that was provided over Discord could hardly be considered a "trustworthy" source.

you mean sagethumbs? it's quite heavy on the system and not really convenient. I have switched to dualcommander, it only loads the preview when you need them and allows you to preview the file without opening it in a bigger window

You make a selection of that area using any of the selection tools. Probably the Magic Wand. Then switch to the other layer and add a layer mask, thus hiding the areas of the image that you don't want to see.

Hi, i'im doing a study and im encountering 2 problems : Im tryng to color pick the color from pureref and it does perfeclty work but when pureref overlaps with the current file u cant color pick thats why i reduce the size of the panel so i can pick. But when im moving my eyedroper tool it does go "over" the limit of the panel and so stops me from picking the color. So i managed to go in full screen but now i cant resize the pannel as i want. Is there a way for me to either resize in fullscreen or too go over the limit of the panel in normal mode ? Thanks for your help

Hi! You can open up the reference image in a separate Photoshop file and drag it over to the side, color picking that. Pureref is great for looking at multiple references at once, but for this you can just do it inside Photoshop.

@tepid silo - I'm not sure what the confusion is here but to clarify... Photoshop is not "free." It doesn't matter how much money you earn (or don't earn). Or if you're freelancer or a full-time employee. Its a subscription-based service agreement.

There are free alternatives if you want to try those, (e.g. Gimp, Photopea, Krita).

In Photoshop is there may ways to accomplish the same thing. Often it a matter of learning what Doesn't work by making mistakes.

When I first learned Photoshop, there were no book, or videos. So I design my own class at local tech collage, who had connection with Adobe's MPLS office. I worked thought every tool and setting. Try each one by one. Until I know what they all did. I then designed tests to complete. If it didn't work I tried other ways until I determined if it was possible or not and then moved on. Several years later I went to one of Scott Kelby's classes, but I already new most of it by then.

I'm not sure if they still exists or not, but I really liked the Photoshop WOW and Illustrator WOW books. I think PeachPit Press still publishes them.

If you can find used one for Photoshop CS6, most of the basic still would apply.

working by yourself and figuring out what each tool does is a very good way of understanding what each tool does. It doesn't look an easy task but you deepen a lot.

It uses quite a few different 'Techniques' like using 'effects' for outlines, uses the shape tool, fonts and warping....

tbh you don't need to pay someone for this. From what I see it basically 2 things:

• Make a black or dark grey background
• Add Northern lights (you can follow any youtube tutorial like this one to learn how to blending existing northern lights to your backgrounds example:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8lmtNJq5Js&t=5s)
• Add a Halftone pattern (you can find free one in any texture package or one google)
• For the text I believe it's some wind effect
• Then to create a retro effect the black where pulled up a little bit on the curve graph
