You should export the Photoshop doc to PDF and don't rasterize the text. And then print the PDF.

Then there is no concern about the text at all.

because PDF will make it strong? I usually create a CMYK page, then set to 360 for resolution and start designing with high res photos an BLANK font. The only missing bit for me is if font is strong, sharp or what

Just save the PSD as PDF. Use like PDF/X-1a and the text should export as vector information, i.e. not rasterized. Then those "anti-aliasing" methods no longer apply.

Of course. You want the raster images to be 300+ dpi and they should print cleanly.

But you don't want to convert large portions of text to raster data. Keep those as vector/font information. Unless they have effects and things applied to them.

If it has a glow or a drop shadow on them, anti-aliasing probably won't matter at that point.

I don't know. If you're designing in CMYK and intending for professional printing, that is probably the best strategy.

First, try turning the Smoothing down to 0%. Also, turn off the Rulers (Ctrl R). See if that helps. If that doesn't help, there may be something else you can try.

I think you should be able to select it with magic wand (w) and just colorize it using the hue and saturation menu

You might alternatively want to go into the neural filter settings and tick the 'output colour as separate layer' button...

then you can easily 'clone stamp' that extra bit of colour in where you need it...

The way I did this isn;t perfect but I went to filters then mosaic and put the size I wanted in and then I went to filters neural filters and applied the cut out filter and just adjusted the settings

Probably the easiest way to confine the picture to one of those rectangles is to use a Clipping Mask.

But if you're doing this in a web page or something, you probably wouldn't do this here. You'd probably do it in HTML/CSS/JS.

I would just be wary. Some of the Huion tablets work fine, some of them were a bit... not very good.

I had a KAMVAS 16 and it was an absolutely amazing device... minus the Windows drivers which were so terrible that it would crash and break every 10 minutes

So its just for design purposes. You'd choose a template you like and edit it to the desired look and feel. If you're trying to derive the pie chart from a spreadsheet or whatever, you'd need a tool that does that. MS Excel, D3, or similar app that creates data-driven graphics.

Maybe there is a plugin or extension for Photoshop or Illustrator that does that. I don't know. I'd have to look.

You can do this in Photoshop several ways but this is the most flexible: Think about a section of a ring or disk, its a wedge or triangle. So if you add some center guides for the ring, you can center one point of a triangle shape, that can define a section of the ring. Set the tringle's color to and then clip that new layer to the master ring layer below using "clipping groups". Repeat with as many sections as you need. I've attached a sample PSD. Hope this helps.

It should work, but to use clipping groups the ring or what you want to clip too needs to be on a layer with transparency, as whatever is transparent will "Clip" the layer above. It's also a question of resolution the more pixels the better the quality.

If I were to NCIS this, I'd say: someone found that skeleton as vector clip art, brought it into a Adobe Illustrator and put your nickname over it. They want to charge you some nominal fee to do that and you don't want to pay them.

Oh I think I misunderstood: If you want the image in the colored sections. Make the triangle "Shape layer" as normal. Then place the desired texture/image above it. Now select your triangle shape layer and convert it to a shape mask by: CTRL & Alt or Command & Option and drag the shape to the mask position on your image layer. Next delete the original triangle, and proceed clipping the new image/triangle to the ring layer.

It's not off-topic. You can upscale an image and try various interpolation methods, A.I. algos, Super-zoom, etc. You will likely experience some quality loss. How noticeable the visual artifacts are and/or how much you can live with is also something to consider. And that will depend on the image being up-sized. Some images fare better than others.

When Adobe rolls out Photoshop and Illustrator on the Web, that means I can be working on a Linux box, do something in Photoshop for the Web in Chromium, save it to the cloud and continue it when I'm back on Windows.

That is super-important to me.

With these other apps, I can probably do that too but then I have to hope that they save out to PSD file, then I have to save it to Google Drive or Dropbox or whatever. Yeah, I can do it but its not a seamless user-experience.

its not growing, making an operationg system user friendly and universal is not an easy task and linux os distros are experiencing that actually, but there is also something changing, linux today runs android which has %70 marketshare and chrome books

The high-end computer graphics were done on Silicon Graphics machines. SGI. They were doing crazy stuff. Then Intel chips on Windows and consumer level graphics cards destroyed them.

The original version didn't even run in Windows. It was launched from a DOS Prompt.

I made an animation in there. Rendered out the frames. It took a week for like 15 seconds of finished animation. Then dumped the rendered frames to a PAR system so that it could be put on VHS, video tape.
