I've seen these rendering lines appear sometimes on PDFs that later won't show up on the printed document.

However, they're usually always and straight lines/angles.

This suggests to me that there's genuinely an issue with the rocket image.

What is it? A vector icon? What did you use to make the PDF?

You can also posterize it. Then take it to Adobe Illustrator and use Trace Bitmap. There is more control over the vector lines in that app. Your choice.

If you want a simple "line drawing" you can either trace it out by hand or use an AI algorithm to try and give you something. However, tracing it is going to require a lot of time and care. Using AI is going to require tools, knowledge and experimentation.

That is going to require you to trace out the contours by hand. There is no "automatic" method other than trying to use some AI to analyze the image and attempt to give you "something." Although, it might not be what you want.

Well, as I said it is basic, but it's perfect for mock-ups. In fact it's made for mock ups. The learning curve with blender is about 1000% more difficult than using Dimension (you can learn Dimension in half a day, that's what I did)

OK. I just mean that you'll actually have to move things into place in the actual layout. I would start there. Do it just like you've done here. Except in Photoshop, set up a 1080x1080 canvas. Then use the Rectangle Tool to draw the areas for these objects and position them where you need them to be.

Then you drop in other images and (using Clipping Masks) to clip the new images (that you want to insert) to those rectangles.

I wonder about the Book Title and Author actually fitting into those spaces though. Because the titles size/character length will likely vary.

I like it like that! The only thing that bugs me a little is the amount of space around (Maybe it's either at the same time not enough space or too much, and crucially either too much or not enough centered. It feels off balanced in a subtle weird way)

What do you plan for the title and name of the artist? (not that you have to put it in the front cover)

if the cover is meant to be a mock up for a physical release (not a spotify thumbnail) then the way I would approach it would be to "emboss" the name of the album in the crown. A bit like if it was "made in china" kind of embossing. I know it sounds bonkers, but hear me out. Lamar's always a bit cheeky in his lyrics (or so I find) so I think it would be a sort of easter egg. Of course it wouldn't work for very small thumbnails

I work sometimes with a big label designing covers for their lesser known artists (under an artistic director). Sometimes these covers will never make it to a physical vinyl or CD, so that's something we have to take into account.

If the primary purpose is for 3D and video editing, yes. You're going to need all of the GPU acceleration you can afford.

That's my opinion. So many processes are being offloaded to the GPU now. Also, realtime display of 3D models during modeling, texturing and animation tasks will require good GPU support.

Additionally, if you want to get into running any local AI Systems, those will require a decent GPU to perform well.

There has to be more than just a one-color object on a transparent layer for the Spatter Filter effect to be noticeable.

You could do something like this... where you combine black text on a white background and then either use a Blend Mode or Advanced Blending to drop the white background afterwards.

After that, you could use a Hue/Sat Adjustment with Colorize to change the color...

I had a question. So, I had these two separate images and I was wondering how I could make them seamlessly blend into each other like at the connecting point only

You can do that put creating a mask for the top layer (whichever you choose) and apply a gradient to the mask so that the transition between white (showing) and black (hiding) is gradual
Alternatively you can paint the edge of the transition with a very soft brush instead of using a gradient

Gradients will be straight lines and brush strokes will be more "organic", random.

I would call that a shadow map, It could also be a displacement map (look for displacement filter in Photoshop)
Basically it depends if you're using it just for apllying the shadows and highlights on a garment (typically with an Overlay, or Hard Light blending mode) or if you are also using it to distort the fabric accordingly (it would be a distort map then)

There might be other methods but usually, what I do is:
Extract the area you want to work one (the fabric in your case)
Convert to black and white after having it converted into a smart object
Apply a curves or levels to exagerate the contrast
and place on top of your pattern and change the blending mode accordingly

Generally they come as straight layers with destructive methods of making them black and white but I like the flexibility of a smart object. The depth of shadows depend on the colour (some colours react differently) so I like that I can tweak that

Possibly the later, and also that your edges are really sharp. When you scrutinise a photo, even one that is sharp all over, with a wide Depth of field, stuff like high contrast edegs aren't taht sharp

I don't know the exact answer to this question. I am using this method to create wall rendreings (placing paint or wallpaper onto interrior design images) where the shadows are generally quite crisp, but even then I tend to blur my map quite a lot

Also, you're taking your map from a white shirt, and it would have sharper tones. If you could take your sample from a neutral grey you'll see that the shadows react a bit differently, they will probably be softer

It's less complicated than for fabric though. Folds can draw sharp shadows or soft shadows depending on the direction of light and depth. You also need to make sure that the original image (the guy) have the same lighting (intensity and direction) than the shirt that's being photographed

If you are converting the overlays as Smart objects you can still go back to any adjustments you have made, including the blurring, and tweak as you go along. That way you can easily fine tune instead of having to do it all over again each time you change your mind

There method you can find online, but it won't be accurate. The only real way would be to use a device (starting prices are usually around £100, but you can find promos or refurbished ones)
Because the way the visual method works, the only reference you have is your own monitor, and no external source. So it's really more "approaching" a typical state, than having real numbers... (Even calibrating with a cheap device isn't entirely accurate, but close enough for standard work)

You can start by trying to create a new image in Photoshop, that you know will be pure white, then you need a reference: A sheet of real good quality paper (something from a high end quality paper brand, the kind of paper to print very good photos on)
Most white papers (printer paper) contain an whitening agent, which is in fact a blue dye, so they make the paper blue in order for them to appear more white (same with laundry liquid!)

So you need something that is real white. And compare both side by side in a well lit room, with 4000K lightbulbs/LEDs, with no other interaction from the outside world (the sun). If you can't you will have better results if the sun is overcast (althought sometimes it's more blue than white)

Just a word of caution. What you may think it's white is actually very blue. You see it with a colorimeter, sometimes the result of a successful calibration seem very dull and yellow/magenta-ish. I blame the phone screen which are really really bright oversaturated, and geared by the manaufacturers to be very blue. So it tends to alter our perception of what pure white is.
The ye is a good comparitor (? not sure this one is correct 🙂 ) but a very bad calculator.
You can't decide what is white or neutral without looking at a REAL reference.

they are used in photography, but you can use them on screen. I use them when I scan images. I scan the chart alongside the image. I know then what is grey, white, or black (very useful to use with the colour samplers in Photoshop)

Make a selection bigger than your text, can be done with lasso tool,
using Magic Wand, hold ALT and click on background.
Then use eye dropper to sample the color, and fil the selection with ALT DELETE.

not sure what else there is to say really. When you add a new frame in the timeline, it adds a new layer to the layer stack, but all previous frames are visible by default. In order for frames to actually be cleanly separate images you have to hide all of the layers under that frame

you can prevent new frames from being visible to previous frames, but that doesn't stop the opposite, where the new frame has all of the frames under it visible

It's not possible to troubleshoot from a description of the problem. If you posted some screenshots of the Photoshop GUI showing the Layers Panel and the affected layers clearly displaying the issue, perhaps someone might be able to identify possible solutions or ideas to try.

Photoshop just did this weird thing. On a fresh computer boot, I opened photoshop, and it loaded this random image that I opened a while back, and then my screen started flickering and was disconnecting from my graphics card tv showing "no signal". When I switch to another window, everything would go back to normal, but if I switched back to photoshop, it would start doing the weird stuff again. NEVER had this happen before. Really weird behavior.

If Photoshop crashed the last time it was open, it probably tried to load a "Recovered" file. The glitchy behavior may have to do with issues with your GPU or the drivers, compatibility, etc. In the main menu of Photoshop, check: Help > GPU Compatibility... any issues or errors reported there?

had to remove sensitive info but this is basically my issue here on the mockup file I add my design in there the file is a PNG direct from illustrator and you see in the image there's blurring and the line segment expands a bit and blurs as well

these 3 layer panels are the only thing affecting the design as far as I'm aware as I've used the eyedropper on every other element on the mockup file and it does not affect the label design

There is some noise which I think is generated by the JPEG compression. So it will be a bit hard to reproduce exactly the same way. Just try to add more contrast to it, or take that bit of text and try to save it multiple times as a JPEG with a "lower" quality and see what it does. Then paste it next to your original.

Hope you aren't trying to falsify a document though...

If you are then run JPG noise removal on the whole thing first, then composite in the lettering, then resave it 😉

JPG noise is incredibly predictable thanks to the algorithm that generates it, so machine-trained JPG artifact removal is spooky good.

So give Neural Filters -> JPEG Artifact Removal a look.

well, when a CC application starts to misbehave, we typically want to reset preferences. You can do that in preferences > general. Then you'll have to revisit the two we just talked about.

Alternatively, you could enable animated zoom (in your screenshot) That would allow you to hold control+space bar and press the mouse button down to zoom in. Or control + alt + spacebar and press the mouse button to zoom out. In either situation and hold the mouse as long as you want.
