@bleak fossil Thank you
Gave +1 Creative Carma to SamPetersonArt
Day 2 caught up. Found this one quite difficult but am pleased with the overall effect. Not too happy with th perescope shadows though!
Challenge 3
Trying to catch up w/ all these awesome challenges 🙂
@young karma lovely colours on your day 3!
Missed the deadline on this challenge. Trying to catch up. Thanks.
*(^__^)
Finally done challenge 3, think it needs tweaking more though. Any suggestions on how to make it look better?
I will also add it to my DCC project on behance 🙂 www.behance.net/kladi
@coral stone @coral stoneIam really Thank you very much for your feedback I can't work without it
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
hi @jovial moss love the pink background, I will probably cut more of the forehead to see more flower on the top 🙂
@agile ruin Awesome work! Does mean the worlds flat? haha jk cool edit!😎
No problem @grave meteor you did a great job!
@coral stone Thank you very much
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
with the sea it was simpler, but now I want to try to fix it, modifying the sky ... and adding detail, if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
Awesome work @young karma Lucy! Create another layer on top use the clone stamp or patch tool make sure you have selected Sample All layers and edit the cloud on the corner so the transition it’s smoother 🙂
Aldo if you add a source light on the top right corner it will diffuse the top edge of the ⛰ mirroring
thank's so much @agile ruin !
this is my version of the postcard but oil painted
@agile ruin ok my problem was that the filter of camera raw go on all the picture not inside the circle ahahaha, I solved this problem ahahah 😉 but now photoshop crashed 😦
@agile ruin Thanks again for the positive feedback love!!!

Day 4 JPG - By Vandam Dezigner - 10 Years old
Challenge #3 - struggled a bit with this one... But learned a lot 🙂
@candid chasm I love your picture! really! But I think that you can add some cloud that come from "the end of the waterfall"..... But just like this is amazing! I love the sky...!
I forgot about it... Good point! Thanks @young karma
Gave +1 Creative Carma to lucyinthesky
Better, but for the next I will change the "vertical" sky! Thanks @agile ruin !

Nice job @young karma 💖👏
🙂 A little add... 🙂
Challenge#04 🐘
here is my day 4 - have a great weekend everyone!😀
catching up on challenge #3
Day 4
This is my final on #psdailychallenge day4. Even though the picture (without the ship) is from my holiday in Tenerife last May.. it looks like a holiday with a halloween'ish ending...🤔
The top left one is the original! I really recommend travelling to Tenerife iceland
Surreal Challenge #2
Day 4, the tutorial, and my own attempt. Not a lot of colour to work with, but I really wanted to play with this photo. I ran a little short on time, or I'd have kept tweaking at the side to get the effect even smoother.
My own snap - a snow maze in Winnipeg, MB.
Challenge-4
DCC #4 I'm going to have A LOT of fun with these brushes now! 😊
PS Daily Challenge #2 - Surreal Collage
Removing an object... few days late, going to get caught up this weekend (hopefully)
Day 4: Apparently, I like making postcards. I can't decide between th se two, so Ill post both, even though I dislike seeing women without many clothes -- the water is the subject.
@forest aspen I loved it 😍 awesome job!
#PSdailychallenge 2
@devout onyx Wow!
Challenge #4
Challenge #3
@mentors I had trouble with the hair, tried a tutorial using the refining tool. Its the best result i got but i think that can be better somehow
super challanging
DCC 2 Collage Challenge
@nova swan wow! Great job, It looks like the picture was taken one second before he falls 😲
Struggled with this one, super challenging. Not totally happy with the end result but may revisit over the weekend. Have fun folks. ✌
😀
Artistic Selfie 3rd Challenge
Day 2 Surreal Collage Challenge. I'm a couple of days behind, hopefully I'll catch up this weekend. It was really challenging thinking of and finding all the images to use in a collage. And since I don't have Adobe Stock I had to find them all from other places.
Playing a bit of catch up this weekend. What a great challenge, I have done more this week with PS than I have ever done! Thank you, thank you , thank you!
day#4
Artistic Selfie Challenge #3
Challenge number 3. Didn't have any good (or even crappy) picture of myself so used my sort-of-nephew's picture instead. Yes - he wrestles in the local pro-wrestling promotion.
@candid chasm Nice work Meer! I really like the clouds down below on the right side, makes the whole thing seem really high up. Perhaps the diver could be a bit bigger? Currently most of the visual weight seems to be on the rocks to the left, a bigger diver might help strengthen him as a focal point. Looks good!
@honest gorge Ooh, cool approach with this challenge! I think since there’s so much less lighting information in the wheat field when compared to the reflections of water it might help to use a multiply layer to add a bit of shadow to the “Cliff” side of the wheat. Might give it a bit more dimension. Really nice work!
@hearty wharf Looking good Tan, I like the illustrated elements worked into the image! I wonder if the lighting might fit a bit more if you’re able to switch the two sides of the water so that the brighter one is on top, though it looks pretty cool as is. Nice work on that misty fog on the right side!
Struggled with this one initially, but once I worked out the masking shortcut, I loved it. Kept fiddling so decided it was time to stop, or I will still be going next year. LOL.
@spare sorrel This turned out really nicely! I like the clean background, really gives it a nice contrast to the details of the flowers. Nice working on the masking as well!
@young karma Love the sense of scale on this image with the mountains. Really makes the cliff side look steep, hah. Great image!
@young karma Ooh, very cool. Looks like a ghost ship, just in time for October, hah. I like the sense of the birds coming closer to the screen, adds some nice depth. Very cool to see you using your own picture too!
@compact flicker The surreal challenge is looking great! Really love the fiery eye ball. Nice work on the flames, they look very convincingly edited in. Some nice visual balance to the image as well!
PsDCC4 Holiday Postcard
@unreal crescent Very cool! I think the more muted colors do well to really pop out the guy in a kayak as a nice focal point. It’s looking good! I think a little blending on the diagonal seam in the clouds on the right side and you’re good to go.
Some really cool geometric designs to the snow image, very nice!
@glad steppe Really nice, I like the muted colors in this one for challenge #4! I think if you feathered the edges of the fog to the left but softening the edge with a soft round brush it might help it look a little more natural. I like the atmosphere it adds though. Nice addition with the splash too!
@young karma Ah, sad to see all that trash. Nice work on this though! I think you could really increase the size of the mechanical snake in this quite a bit for a stronger visual impact and focal point. So that the snake head overlaps the trash above it, or even breaks out above the horizon line. Would really give the image a strong focus. Nice work!
@torpid terrace Hah, brushes can be a lot of fun for that kind of stuff. This is looking good! Great work making the birds get smaller as they get further away, it adds some nice depth. It could be cool to slightly lighten the contrast of the birds just a bit as they get further as well, to add a little of that sense of atmospheric perspective. Well done!
@tacit condor Looking good! Nice work on the surreal collage, the compositing looks solid and the pineapple guy has some nice color contrast!
@jagged tinsel Nice job, the object removal is looking really good! It might help to upload a slightly larger file size next time to help see the detail and not get as much pixelation. It’s looking good though, nicely done!
@forest aspen Loving the worn vintage look in these! Really great atmosphere to the first one with the foggy look. Really nice work, they have great contrast with one another as well!
@devout onyx Nice work on this, the compositing is looking nice and clean! Nice work adding a shadow on the eye, definitely helps set it in the image more. It could even be pushed further if you added a soft cast shadow to the neck and shoulder area of the man. Make it look like the giant eye is casting a bit of a shadow on his shoulders.
Day 2 challenge, good practice.
@bleak fossil aaah - thank you for feedback, sam - i'll definitively try that! had to rush it in the end, as i was late going out for dinner - got lost in surreal space again ... 😂

Thanks @nova swan

Hi
I enjoyed this challenge 😋
Still a bit shakey with the layer/object selection strategies taught - but I know they will be greatly useful once I practice and make it habit.
Me
Challenge #3
My Photoshop is being buggy. I've dropped an image in from the stock library but certain tools aren't functioning sometimes. For example, i went into Free Transform, and got the blue box around the image, but then when i hovered over a corner to scale the image, my cursor would not change to the scale arrows and I couldn't move or scale the image. My quick selection cursor isn't functioning either. But it worked a minute ago. Just not on this new image. Ideas?
Catching up! DCC #2 - Surreal Collage::
Day 4 postcard, 2nd version.
@forest ivy Nice collage! It all flows together well in one surreal story!
Day 4 postcard
I may have gotten carried away. lol Probably way too many flowers but those pngs were soooo cool .
Day 4
Fun challenge, quite hard to blend in the transition of this picture of the 99 dome mosque i took in Indonesia earlier this year.
Day 3 Selfie
Challenge #2 Surreal Collage
Challenge No 1. Catching up!
Day 3
Day 3
day of 3 #✂challenges-feedback 😬
Challenge 2: Artistic Selfie My beautiful daughter. This was a huge challenge for me, very advanced for my PS skills! 🙂
@rain monolith I like how you cut up the face and the lighting effect you have going on inside the head. Really cool
Feedback?
day 4 Holiday postcard
Any feedback please 😊?
Postcard Challenge - Finally caught up and ready for next week!
@grave meteor Nice work! The foreground plant and reflection of subject are well done and create depth. The lily-pads create a realistic effect on the surrealistic glass-like water. The subject seems to fade into the background because of the lack of contrast - perhaps additional background objects or another shade to make your subject pop. Also the squareness of the water in the background is a bit distracting, for me, from such an amazingly detailed foreground.
Loved the sunset mood @tender valve
@coral stone thank you!
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
Day 2 - A bit behind...
Day 3 Artistic Selfie. I was trying to get it to look like the reference image but I can't figure out how to create that plasticky look of the skin. Any ideas?
Reference image:
This was super fun. The original image I used was not great for the horizon so i added a lot. lol Used 2 pics of wolves, replaced the sky, added a moon and added a ton of clouds / smokiness.

Glassy Text
@lunar mango great work ! I love the gradient! are you using Blend if or a Layer blending mode ? great stuff 👏
@young karma love the text lock, the font ad the colours! very well done!!!💙
@blazing quail well done I would do a little more drips but that's just me lol I usually go overboard with it 😂 Glad you liked the challenge!
@jovial moss great job! spot on! thanks for sharing the before and after looks great! 💙
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Claire-Louise
@agile ruin much appreciated - all the time you put into teaching us and the reviewing! wonderful challenges and great atmosphere in your streams! I learned already a ton on new things

@edgy idol super coool!!! loove the penguin💙 and the DCC font is so appropriate for a wall. well done! i would out some drips on the penguin wing on the (right) and back of the head ( left)
@thank you for sharing your work @young karma ! try to make the wall darker so there is more contrast otherwise it looks very well executed!!👏
@royal pondzing stuff @candid chasm I really like the background images you used! I love plants! very well done 👍
@agile ruin thank u 💞 😊
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Kladi Printmysoul
@agile ruin thanks for the feedback. My original was Blend If only (left) but the gradient was a too hot so I submitted the one on the right using Blend If & set my blend mode to multiply.
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Kladi Printmysoul
DCC#5 Loved working with text. This is going to be so useful for creating posters in the future! 😄
@kindred kernel i actually really like the color combo and the "cloud" background.. even though this was not bricks or wall.. but it looks like some kind of an album cover... id listen to this album
Now I had some time for adjust the "20 min work" ahahahah
I loved this challenge. Had to try a few other options.
phew, here is my challenge ... not quite the graffiti artist yet!
Great job @hearty wharf 😍
thank you @coral stone - such fun!!
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
challenge 3, selfie vase. I have big curly hair that is hard to cut out clean. So i used one with a hat. Any suggestions for using photos with hair that's all over the place? @glacial path
Challenge day#4
I am done with mine 😝 it was fun.. this is actually a logo of my one-person company.. The freelancing thing 😄 of course it is not so colourful and not "liquified". I use nickname AU ROOM cause many people cant pronounce my name, so for sake of memorability and ease for potential clients i created AU ROOM.
When it comes to the image development i added the drop shadow to the text part as it made it looked "more graffiti" like to me. Added more time to work with lights, and opacity in layers added on the top of the text.. added another piece on the wall which is also mine, and is called Count Rosalijus The Cat. It somehow became a part of my identity..
BTW: If you red all of this - sincerely, Thanks! 🌷 🌷
@young karma I loved your work and also the context. Thanks for sharing 😍
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Aurelija Norkunaite
ha ha @unreal crescent - i like your last one!

@deep mango I activated them had them on the screen went to export export as pick my settings and hit export.
Challenge#05
Day 3. On the road all last week so way behind.
Day 5- Learned a lot, and again, it was hard to stop editing... 🙃
@fallow bough Hahaha! I love it!
@worldly adder A hairdresser? 😉
Good to see you're back @fallow bough 🙂
@coral stone Thanks. So many great submissions. Really need to step up my game while I catch up.
Missed cleaning up the mask for one of the TVs.
Day 4 Challenge
I tried a simple text effect and decided to do more🙂
@forest ivy Where do I get a copy of your postcard? I really loved it! ❤
@agile ruin - Kladi, I'm following your video for the Holiday Postcard challenge. I'm towards the end when you used the 'camera raw filter...' and made the circle for the sun with the radial filter. When I make the circle, all the adjustments apply to the whole image, not just the circle like yours. Any idea how to troubleshoot that? I've done everything exactly the same as you. Help?!
Day 4. Still catching up. Bit of a cheat. Did the "waterfall" portion a few weeks ago.
@worldly adder Hi Michael, when you are using the radial filter you have the option to apply outside or inside at the very bottom of the sliders. Here's a screenshot:
@coral stone That fixed it! Thank you so much
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
You're welcome 🙂
Yes @worldly adder exactly what @coral stone said! You guys are ace !!
@honest gorge I absolutely love it! I would only adjust the drops to go down and not right (unless it was very windy when you were spraying your graffiti 😅)
Not sure what you mean @deep mango can you explain your question further so I can help you achieve the output you want ? Thank you 😊
Gave +1 Creative Carma to animafan
Great stuff @lunar mango thank you so much for sharing your process. Well done for experimenting further! Looks great. 💖

Challenge #5
Hi there ! Here is my post ! I could't find how to inside effect of text.
Day 5
Kladi challange text effects
@agile ruin Thanks for your feedback. It was a quick try because it was time to make supper for the hungry family (19h over here). I Will try to make it better this morning.
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Kladi Printmysoul
@agile ruin after I exported my first image, I hid it and activated the second effect that I made but when I saved it and went back to the smart object, it was still displaying the first one that I had already exported. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I'm not sure 🙂
Challenge Day 5
After listening to the helpful comments from Katia Oloy in her stream I decided to have another attempt
Day 2 with correction suggested by @bleak fossil and making the hair a bit softer.
Day 5.
Just catching up, here's my day 3, I think the hinge on my head is a bit small, would love to know what everyone thinks.
and my day 4
Text not really my favourite thing, mainly because I spend hours and still can't find a font I like. Great skill to have though, especially finding another way to render on to a background.
@agile ruin Thanks for your feedback. As I worked with a blend mode on the text (to have the darker space between the bricks showing thru) , making the wall darker (4) did'nt worked. But making the wall less yellow (2) seams to work better I think. The best results are on a white wall (3) but I miss the "hot" look
Day 5
Day 5

Finally I figured it out so here are my 3 different text effects for Challenge 5 🙂

@coral stone here l am what about my work?
@sturdy vault Thank you I was a little proud of myself with that one.
Gave +1 Creative Carma to pfordie
@pulsar sparrow I really like the color palette, my only suggestion is that you can play with some subtle "melting paint effect" to the letters 🙂
@coral stone Yes ok I'll do it now
😉
@coral stone Thank you
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
No problem 🙂
I had to go back and delete my last post. Can't believe I spelled "challenge wrong"
It happens @unreal crescent 😄
help! i just can't stop playing with this ... thought it needs to be a bit more messy ... 😂
@plain sable wow amazing - so many iterations!
@unreal crescent oh nooo - surely graffiti is not just about spelling ...?
@young karma i really liked your autumn graffiti submission - it really represents the case! i think it is very beautiful 💯
my day-5 challenge 😋
thanku Kladi for teaching me to do this
Challenge 5 🙂
Challenge #5 It was fun to learn about the liquify tool and the Blend if, never used them before!
@young karma thank you ☺️🍂
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Aurelija Norkunaite
I tied this challenge twice: The white one uses Kladi's Holiday and one of the Adobe Stock brick images provided in the starter kit. The dark brick one uses two images from AdobeStock; a brick dance studio and the colorful pink & purple grid that was suggested by Kladi in an earlier challenge.
I'm familiar with smart objects and layer comps, but I hadn't realized that doing the layers comps and then making those layers into a smart object would make it so easy to change things up. I've also used the blend if sliders before, but only light or dark. Using both gives a gritty, weathered, paint-peeling effect. Thanks, Kladi, for both new ideas!
After Editing day 5
@coral stone Here is it Thanks for directing me

Challenge #6: Portfolio Cover
Both of them are great! I like the mood of the first one @wet thistle 😀
Loved the color @edgy idol!
Better a simple text... ! This Is for the cover!
Hi , here is my post. Day 6. Actually it looks like cheese :D.
Thank you @coral stone 😃
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
@severe flame did you 3D your doodles? They look really cool
@edgy idol thank you for comment! sure!! Result was doodle. 😂
Gave +1 Creative Carma to imitating
@lucid sigil I love it, I just wish the text was fully on the horizontal plane... so Devin started a little further over to the left (closer to where the e in Devin is currently)
@severe flame Just meant "doodle" as in blob (what we named it in the lesson) or floating cheese curd 🤪...whatever you want to call them, strings, lines. Yours just look so wonderfully 3D. My doodle lines look flat in comparison despite the gradient
Challenge #06
Hi all. I also used the smudge tool
@honest gorge The font of your name is lovely 😍 Great job!
@coral stone Thanks 😊
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
I am starting on the current challenge today. I finished the previous one this afternoon. Had to go on holiday 🙂 so I am a bit behind. I would appreciate it if someone has time to take a look at my entries and give some feedback. Somehow it is easier to work along with the challenges when they are live, it always helps reading comments on other peoples creations for tips and inspiration. I missed that while catching up. Hopefully I will be on track before the end of the week. The link to my previous entries is in the #💎past-challenge channel. Thanks!

Went back and took out the drop shadow on the "springs". It didn't need it. (But I did keep the clipping mask on the text!)
Day 6
I am so happy that I am participating in this challenge... You know the 5secong rule.. well I didnt wait this time and Just signed up. I feel i have deepened my knowledge so much. SO one more time @agile ruin - big big thanks! Great assignments.
This challenge was difficult for me. For about 1h I was really just hating it ALL... i wanted to leave my computer and go sleep. But in the end, I squeezed out of myself a result that i am actually Happy with. I think i am in the group of people where I can openly say: Boy, do I Love Photoshop.... 😳

Day 6
Day 6. More an album cover but whatevz right?
DCC6 Thanks Kladi and everyone for taking the time to teach us how to do this and give feedback. I'm really enjoying these creative projects! 😄 😁
Day 6 - A cover!
@young karma i know, so cool!! i hope it's going to come to other platforms soon ... i'm drawing on a surface book.
PsDCC5 - Text Effect - Well, I've spent too much time on this and need to get to today's challenge, so ...
@young karma So glad you pushed through. Really like this. Sometimes design is like that. We work and work and just don't get what we want and then the universe smiles and we get to do our happy dance. I haven't gotten to my happy dance on yesterday's challenge yet so I'm letting it rest for now so I can get to today's challenge, later.
@deep mango That background is awesome and I like that font, too.
Used a beer can as my background canvas.
Day 6
Challenge #6
Tweaked type
Oh my... im super late on these challenges 😕
Cool use of tools - not a fan of the cover art. I would like to get more info on art boards though.
DCC 3 & 4 ?

@magic hedge Loving the folded paper feel in there! 😍
@edgy idol Thanks!☺️
#4 postcard... How's the waterfall side of the water? Should the color of the water be more uniform and less highlights and shadows?
Portfolio Cover Day 6 with Kladi. Orange or black?
Another take on my view
Challenge 1: Replace an Object
@cold cedar best of luck with the creative vibes today! you totally caught my mind, it's like the creative A-HA! moment, when you finally catch the direction where you want to go with it! Looking forward to see yours though!
@cold cedar thank you for your feedback, and I'm also loving this urban streets style ot the text, it sits so natural and organic on the background 🙂
Gave +1 Creative Carma to ValentinePierce
Day 6
Challenge Number 5, I need to work on blending the text into the brickwork more realistically, practice makes perfect.
Day-6 challenge. Do you like it?😬
Finally located the challenge on You Tube! Here is my effort.
@nova swan I prefer the black, but they both great I just find the text easier to read on the black. 🙂
@young karma That blob challenge is outstanding👌
Fun challenge for noobs like myself all created from a crop of a sunset i took a few weeks ago.
Couldn't decide between 2 Banners, this is the first. Also struggled with name as undecided between Design by Trish or my revamped Ceramics Logo (name extended to include Graphic Design). Decided on the first as it matches my Behance name, and also current Portfolio site (which needs a major overhaul).
2nd Design, went a bit funky.
Did another attempt to try get softer gradients like in Kladi's video. Really learning some great things - Artboards in photoshop! 😀
I like the glitch effect on the text @young karma

Challenge #6 Not sure if I love it, but it was fun to play with the mixer brush and learn about the art boards! Didn't know those existed!
@young karma I'm a little behind but I'll tag you when I get the portfolio cover done. Feel free to give your true thoughts so I can continue to improve.
Challenge #7: Mock Up

First attempt at one of these Adobe Challenges! Darn edges are difficult to fix if you don't catch those little imperfections the first time...
Good thinking adding an additional shadow to the background @hazy cosmos!
thank you
@waxen vine Loved it ❤
Thanks!!
Here it goes. The upper two are of the illustrations i drew by hand with colourful pencils back in 2014. And bottom two are with pattern from 2012 when i made some folk prints for my fashion studies.
I chose to make a couple of options for a few reasons.
- because of a very turbulent start of work where I initially started with an illustration, which maybe didn't make "full" sense for this challenge because i basically didn't need to use warp tool.
- with a full solid colour and pattern it was more challenging to make it more realistic. So i think i practised the challenge fully.
- It somehow looks stronger when they are 4 instead of just one.
@young karma Amazing job, very talented.
Day 7 Cushion Mockup, had fun with this and combined some of the previous skills i.e. using the layers comps inside the smart object and sorry @young karma I hope you don't mind but I borrowed your idea of using timeline to showcase the 4 options I did. 😀
Going to try one more with a non-stock background, but this is my "follow along with Kladi" version. 😃
A static one too
@young karma Easier to look at when it doesn't move 🙂 Well done!
@young karma well done! And great job! ;) We are here to share ideas!!
This is what I made for challenge 2! I drew the pink Piplup and the arms. The bubbles were also made by me, they were something I made for a school project. Finally, the cat in the heart is a picture of my actual cat! ^.^
Very creative @wide solar!
Thanks!
😉
@young karma I need this print in my life .. it’s awesome!
Challenge 7
PsDCC7 - Mock Up
Thanks! @lunar mango 🤖
Gave +1 Creative Carma to AustinB
@wide solar I would love to see the cat a little brighter.
Ooh, that sounds like a good idea! I did think it looked a bit dark as well. Thanks!
@ashen compass I would put that on my couch for my friends to see — if I had a couch, LOL.
@cold cedar I brightened the cat some more, how's this?
@fallow bough Marvelous pillow.
@ashen compass I would put that on my couch for my friends to see - if I had any friends. 😢
@wide solar I find her/him a little difficult to see but with so much happening, perhaps that is ok. And, perhaps it is just me.😊
Yeah, I think it's a bit too transparent because I have the layer on linear burn with the opacity down a bit. Thanks again! ^.^
@wide solar Welcome!
You can put on your couch, take a photo and post here for us to see @keen pendant! We are your Photoshop friends 💙
Day 6 took a while. I'm still not entirely happy with this, but haven't the patience at the moment to start over. I used the colors from my current logo and it came out way too dark and broody.
Day 7 was way too much fun. It was difficult to decide: the gem from Voodoo Val" fantasy RPG challenge or the fairy garden from Pixel Fight Club Continues challenge. So, I'll post them both 😉
@agile ruin can you explain why you need to unlink the new layer (square) from the layer mask (FOR MOCKUP CHALLENGE). You explained that you don't want to affect the mask but I didn't see you do anything to the layer that would necessarily affect the mask.
Challenge #7
Day 7 product mock up
@lunar mango I'm not sure who those peoples are on the pillow but I like it
Challenge 7 using one of my Illustrator designs I had done for T-shirts etc. First of a series that hasn't yet eventuated LOL.
Day 6. This was challenging but fun. It took a long time figuring out how to get things how I wanted it to look. I used Layer comps a bunch of times going back and forth between different versions. I'm pretty happy with the end result. Catloaf Creative is the name of my "design studio".
@tender valve You unlink the mask as you don't want any changes you make to the shape to adjust the mask i.e. if you pushing and pulling the shape with liquify and they're linked it would affect the mask and potentially your image wouldn't match the product. Essentially the mask is just to keep the effect focused on the product so once the mask is done you don't really want to change it. Hope that helps / makes sense!
Gotcha so when you use liquify and such that would change the mask as well. Makes sense! Thanks @young karma

Day 7.
Here is my try at Day 7 with a rose I painted in Adobe Fresco
My Day 7 entry
Day 6 - Experimenting the Kyle brushes 😀
My own photo for a school project, I also edited it for Challenge 7 below.
AFTER ↓
I also added smoke brushes at the bottom for a bit of a different atmosphere.
Not sure if the smoke overdid it, your opinons would be appreciated.
I used vivid light blend mode as well as it seemed to pull off the best effect with the lighting.
Without smoke
@real estuary I like how you used shadows and light on your pillow challenge
Day 7, I used my portfolio cover from day 6.
hello all - i just had to do a pattern one as well!! used adobe capture for it. such fun ...
and yesterday on adobe live someone mentioned dimensions, so i used an object from there to add the same pattern!
@young karma love your cushion!!
as it's so quiet, here is one more ... with capture and kladi's clever file there a just so many possibilities!
My take on Challenge #3. Bit slow with this, and I haven't used a selfie. I used a pic of my grumpy-looking grandson instead!
One more try at PS Daily Challenge #7!
Challenge #7 The Image I used is from a former challenge 'paper cut effect'
@wet thistle love it
Thank you @nova swan
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Patti McCoven
@cold cedar awesome! a lot of work done with mock up, it looks like a real pillow! Remember you said it is okay to comment 🌷
The perspective (as you spotted yourself )of the picture with the sofa is different then the one thats in the background picture, and this gives away that it is put together. You can try to adjust the direction with warp tool too. The wall is "perforated" and drops pattern of shadows that directly indicate the perspective - its almost a grid. So it is easy for you to see it actually. Also you can see shadows falling under the carpet, but they don't show up on the sofa or the carpet itself. Continuous shadows would really make it look real. Last think there is a corner of the different floor under the sofa that is like from another room, that you could fix by using smart content fill from Day 1 challenge.
A script typeface with 1 style, available from Adobe Fonts for sync and web use. Adobe Fonts is the easiest way to bring great type into your workflow, wherever you are.
Thank you @young karma Definitely ok to comment! I save the comments and try to go back and re-work my challenges. As the cliché says, "Sometimes we can't see for looking," which means it takes objective views from others to see what we are missing. So, I will take another look and try to do some corrections.

Had a chance today to revist blob brush lesson . I found I was better standing up and drawing on wacom palette as is real paper
#psdailychallenge Day 6 // Brand Assets
Instagram story option for 3 categories of my work.
Option 1. with a bit more colour
As mentioned in the chat this was a really useful challenge. @agile ruin Thank you! You know so much and I learn so much with your challenges! This challenge is right on the spot since I just started an instagram page for my work. 😇

Opt. 2 - less colour
Surreal Collage Daily challenge 2, not as colour full as some of your examples which lots are amazing, used my own images and could not get the colour fill to work, you done on the moon not sure why

@rain palm oooh, i've got a ridgeback, too - beautiful dogs!
Challenge 4: Holiday Postcard
Challenge#08
Day 8- Fitting the images of the challenge into the artboards gave me an axcellent reason to start warping -and well, I just love warping!!
Challenge 7 - Mock up
@agile ruin @coral stone - for mockups, what happens if the product photo you have is not white? Is there a way to still do a mock up and overlay it? Say the pillow photo was navy blue.
@worldly adder You can still do a mockup on it. What will control how much the Navy Blue will affect is how much of opacity you will apply or/and if you're gonna use the blend mode multiply 🙂
Day 4: No my fears cant go where I'm headed.
PsDCC8 Mock Up Revised. @young karma Is this better? I was surprised at how well Warp worked on the sofa.
@safe linden loved your pillow mockup
Amazing work @young karma ! Love the gif and the Insta story well done!!!
@lilac minnow love the picture looks absolutely gorgeous! I will add a light source on the top right corner to smooth out the diagonal transition.😍
@it worked great @cold cedar ! keep up the great work and well done on all the hard work!

Challenge#09
Final challenge. What do people think of the colours?
Loved the warm tones @honest gorge 😀
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Valdair Leonardo
Thanks @coral stone 😍
@jovial moss great job with the vignette effect, it really enhances the focal point of the image!
This is my version of Day 9 challenge. I took a smaller task, because it is already 19:35 here in Denmark, and I wanna rest.
This is a book i worked on for 2 years with my mom. I wanted to make some pictures of it, so! On the left you can see a picture i took with my camera, opened it in camera raw, adjusted, added some final adjustments in photoshop, like lighter corners, a bit of a change in the viewing angle (perspective) and added more of the background using Smart Content Fill (seriously my new favourite tool). It worked like magic, i used to spend much more time fixing backgrounds than I do now.
Feel free to share your thoughts on it !
Photoshop daily challenge #2
Here you ca see the final one better
hello - here is my last challenge! thanks so much @agile ruin it's been a blast!
Gave +1 Creative Carma to Kladi Printmysoul
this was the original - i got rid of all the algae!!
@agile ruin have fun in las vegas - it's brilliant!! i got married there ... 😃
Weird - I don't have "texture" as an option in my Camera Raw Filter. Any advice?
DCC9 Before and After. This was my favorite challenge because I LOVE editing photos. 😄
PS Daily Challenge #8 - Brand Assets
😀
Day 8 project was a constant balance between too busy and not enough information. I need to work on getting ideas across with fewer words, perhaps.
For me, this was a lengthy project. I'm not really sure what an Instagram story is, nor its purpose. I ended up doing some branding somewhat like a brochure for the internet. I don't know however how to save the file so all the art boards are accessible to the viewer when posted. A movie? A GIF? I ended up taking a screen shot of the 3 art boards in my file.
@jovial moss I like the increase in purples and oranges and the vignette. Adds a lot more focus and drama
Day 9 challenge: I love the flexibility of Camera Raw - engine or filter. Nearly all of my images (mine for sure and most stock images) go through ACR. This photos taken by Kladi Vergine, this challenge's leader. As you can see I took the liberty of cropping to make the town more important.
Any suggestions for toning down the sun coming through the window? I tried reducing the exposure on just that area, but it made it look out of place then - a weird grey. Taking down whites or highlights didn't seem to do it. There isn't really any photographic information behind that glare :/
Day 9 - Greek harbour lights at Friday night 🙂
@ michael.galen When there is no detail in the whites, even camera raw can't help. Cameras can't process as many differences in light as our eyes can. The windows and light floor fooled the camera into under exposing the people. You might try masking out those white windows and put a light outdoor scene behind them,
@edgy idol Enhanced to say the least! Well done!
Thank you @willow nebula 😊

Challenge #9 Original - Thank you @agile ruin for hosting this challenge, I have learned a lot of new things 😀

Day 9 - Enhance a photo
It's tricky to not just jack the saturation up and call it a day - (and I hope I didn't end up with that effect) but great explanation of tools that I'll only get better with!
I used PS for the retouching, but threw the comparisons together with Irfanview.
Wow, some of you folks do some incredible work. 👌
This has been so much fun, doing these daily challenges. Thanks so much to @agile ruin for the lessons, and to @bleak fossil , @lyric dome , and @glacial path for the feedback in chat here. I've learned a TON.

@spiral bone I like the texture you used there!
@brazen patio thank you
Gave +1 Creative Carma to tcal
I'm excited as this is my first time doing the PSDCC while it's actually live! 🙂
@deep lintel Wow! That background is wild 😄 And the font is pretty cool too. I think you could maybe add a subtle texture to the font since you have those large shapes anyway 🙂 You could use a similar glitch effect to also mess with the font a bit. Keep in mind, the detail in the background might become very blurry if scaled down to the size of a behance thumbnail
@spiral bone yes! Lovely font and great texture 😄 - Not sure about the watermark though, I hope you didn't just use a finished template and changed the text 😉 This would be fine for a placeholder, but if you have some time on your hand, try to come up with a custom texture 🙂
@spiral bone there also are millions of free to use textures out there - without watermarks 🙂
@brazen patio great texture and cool pattern overlay 🙂 Having the light come from the bottom is a bit odd but I think it works just fine. The text below the PS DCC might be a bit small - keep the size of the thumbnail in mind
@thorn geyser wow! What a difference 😄 I like the juicy greens and the reduced haze. But I wouldn't remove it entirely. Some haze can add a lot of atmosphere to a shot 🙂
@short mica Love the font effects and the background texture 🙂 Just make sure the text remains inside the image 👍
@hearty wharf two DCCs at the same time? Wow! I love the before/after GIF you've used for the first project 🙂 The project thumbnail is also lovely, especially the blur effect combined with the dark text. Can't wait to see more of your work 🙌
aahw, thanks so much @glacial path you did very well hosting your challenge, great explanations! was a bit early uk time. yes, i'm photoshopping in my dreams at the moment! 😂
