well for one i think if codm stayed military themed (if it even was military themed ever) it would have died off a long time ago. the game is quite unique on its own and were waaaay beyond a military theme so at this point why bother going back. this game is a mobile arcade shooter nonetheless, mobile games tend to always have some sort of pay to play type of aspect and yeah as koifish stated this game was initially based off the chinese cod which also had these types of weapons so it isn't like they just decided that they wanted their own game their own way it was just a simple way to cope after they shut down all those servers for the other game
