That means nothing. Both of my freestyle quads have... "Suboptimal motor configurations", to put it mildly, and they both fly fine.

If they spin, it should get airborne, even if it doesn't stay there.

The easiest test is to pin the quad down, the right way up, and put it in turtle mode. Pulse each motor to ensure they spin up to full speed and are blowing upwards.

If so, the problem is probably IMU related.

If not, it's a motor or ESC problem.
