He disappeared for a year because of a 2FA lockout on his account and he didn't feel like messing with discord's support service. During that time, he was most active on a different account, which was named orb (orb arc ong) till he came back on Jan25th of 2022.

They turned him down for mod 5 times till last year on which we would become a "there's no war in Ba singe se" type of mod and one of my favorite people in WB. On Christmas Eve, of 2022. Eye would reach Level 100, the 2nd person to reach super pumpkin, first holder was Airod. Later on, he would surpass Airod's level and hold Rank 1 once again.

@frank crypt, also originally known as "Ping for Bible Verse," joins the server on 06/30/21 and says why he didn't join the discord sooner. Many do not remember him because his time on the server was shortened by a ban. But, during his time, he would receive pings and give back Bible verses in return. Doing that for so long has had a good effect on the server. However, he later decided to retire (😔) and delegate his papal duties to his apprentice: Blue, Gregist & Child Laborist (me), who would later on take over his papal role as "Ping for Bible Verse II" continuing his legacy. A month later, Pack would unfortunately be banned. Thankfully, after over nine months, I and some others suggested that he file an appeal. On 02/02/23 he would be officially unbanned and rejoin the server as "Pope Alexander (Resurrected)."

They claim to have had previous accounts on the server from even earlier, but have lost them and are unable to find them. They are very active in this server and a nice person, and at the time of this message they are a trial moderator at Crabzilla rank with over 43500 messages sent. Despite their incredible activity and position as moderator (or trial moderator for the time being) they claim to "have a life," and share with others many of the interesting things they do in real life.

The Ultimate Worldbox MapWars finally concluded ⚔️
It was the biggest and the longest event in the Worldbox server till now
We had four teams battling to be the Warriors
🟥 Team A (Kingdom of Naezar) they had one of the most complicated political systems and kept rotating between being a monarchy and Republic with executions being the order of the day 🗡️ Though this caused them to be the first team out
🟨 Team B (The Great Empire of Chesterian) They were the most stable Team in the entire event under Hallf Chest, being the only only team not to face any Rebellions of coups, thought even after all that they came second in the event 🥈
🟩 Team C (Tigerei) The Biggest team and the most only team to be organised before the event, though they still were the first team to face a coup which led to King Jarz's execution 🗡️, later under the leadership of DetectiveGhost they made great progress but still came third 🥉
🟦 Team D (New Republic of Doctrinia) And finally Doctrinia, they had a slow and steady start but under the leadership of Kaiser Cosmic Potato, they gave tough competition to all the teams ⚔️ Even after facing any Rebellions and coup by Deacfa, they still managed to triumph and take over Chesteria in the Last battle and became the Event Winner 🏆

This would be the first message in a very active chatting and moderating career. After chatting for several months and reaching the rank of necromancer, Vienen would be part of the summer of 2023 trial, being given trial mod on 7/13/23, and being fully promoted on 8/27/23. By the time of this message, Vienen has sent 136,258 messages, and has reached God Finger rank. Cheers to Vienen 🍻.

Duekreiser would attempt to use gifs to type the word "bruh," but would fail and unintentionally type "rebr." This would lead to user justinianlcortes saying the word "rebr," thus starting one of the oldest inside jokes in Worldbox server history. Initially, "rebr" simply meant "bruh," as Duekreiser had intended, but it would slowly evolve into a word to describe/insult new users. This would be popularized by birb_brib, who would frequently use the word as a joke for people who newly joined. As time progressed, the word became more popular, and eventually took on the modern meaning of a member who joined post-2020. The word would become so popular it would even get a place in the Urban Dictionary. As of today, the word has been said 17,316 times, and just about every member of the server has been called it at one point.

This single message would just be the start of Ercan’s long tenure on the server. As time passed, he would quickly rank up, becoming one of the most active members of the server in a matter of months. He would become best known for his profile picture (a picture of the Azeri flag), playing in map wars, and frivolously denying his status as a furry. By 29/10/2023, Ercan would become the third member in the server’s history to reach level 100 and become a super pumpkin, marking his greatest accomplishment on the server to date. By the time of this message going out, Ercan has sent 274,070 messages, only 33 messages behind Airod, who has the second most message on the server. He would say, “Yeah, I’ve been in this discord for like two years and never interacted lol,” #🌎general message, which would become extremely ironic as Toast would go on to be one of the most influential and active chatters on the server. He would attain trial mod prior to his first message, being one of the few successful cases of a random user getting moderator. He would quickly become active and a well respected moderator, being promoted on 10/23/22. As of this message, Toast has sent 114,218 messages, and reached God Finger rank. 📜 On 2/28/21 @wind bough joins the server, with a deep inspiring first message: #🌎general message "Ughghjgdstu". From there, Crayfish over time became an active member. On 12/28/22, Crayfish became part of the Winter Of 2022 trial mod batch. Crayfish eventually recieved full moderator on 3/1/23. Unfortunately, on 6/12/23, Crayfish was banned for Breaking ToS, but luckily, Crayfish was unbanned on 8/14/23 because he was witch hunted. On 9/1/23, more sad news struck. Crayfish's beloved alt, Gilbert, was permanently banned by discord, leaving Crayfish to once again use his main account only. Nowadays, Crayfish is an active member known for posting pig gifs and most of all, his love for Gilbert. As of this day, Crayfish has reached the rank of <@&1009870376618168410> and is very close to <@&1009870372734259271>. Welcome to the 2023 review of Worldbox’s discord server. This was the idea of @serene snow, and written by @serene granite and @serene snow
January
We started this year off with a bang, just a day after celebrating the new year,
On 1/2/23, the Romanian invasion stormed Worldbox, with many active users changing their profile picture and names to be Romanian themed.
On 1/19/23, Darkangel, Amigo, Comnome, Vlasta, and Charlie were all promoted to full moderator, after falling short the first two promotion rounds.
February
February did not have much going for it in 2023, the only somewhat notable piece of history was the first Worldbox slander video made by Vienen, which was completed on 2/17/23.
March
On 3/1/23, The Trial Moderator batch from December 28th had its first promotion wave which granted the following T-mods Full Mod; BlueVegasCourier, Background Character, Chicken Of Wisdom, Crayfish, Lunatic Blue, CaptainUjjwal, Fukua, Bradysgaming, Pug Bread, Monke, Eyeachu, Sea Wolf, gandolf.
On 3/6/23, 3 users known as Tachanka (who was already banned), an Ex-Mod SuperCoder, and Singapura/ChadTunisia doxxed a child after some accusations were made about the user. SuperCoder and Singapura were both banned as Tachanka had already been banned.
On 3/11/23, One of, if not the most notable event in all of Worldbox History took place. The Megabox update, Worldbox’s largest update, released. Throughout the afternoon and evening of 3/11, overnight, and well into the morning of 3/12, general chat and voice chats were being spammed completely with eggs mainly, as well as other random messages. At first, moderators tried to stop the riots but it became too much, and there was nothing they could do. Many people claim to have started the riots, but the fuel was Maxim’s one message in announcements: “🥚”, that truly fueled and started the riots. The egg emoji was blacklisted for a few weeks after the riots, but was eventually unblacklisted.

April
On 4/1/23, the “Modern Update” would come to Worldbox, manifesting itself in a new map that loads itself upon opening the game, showing the words “1D Modern Update” with a building, Cyber Truck, and gun, all made from pixels in-game. This would provoke many news memes and jokes to arise around the troll update, continuing the legacy of the long-lived Modern Update meme.
On 4/9/23, the server finally hit 500,000 members, breaking a massive milestone, and cementing Worldbox as one of the largest discord servers on the platform.
On 4/25/23, https://discord.com/channels/522561390330904585/522561390330904587 would briefly be renamed to #random. This would be the first time in a long chain of times the most popular channel in the server would be renamed, usually to the community's dismay.
On 4/25/23, Mayers would retire as a moderator, and on 4/30/23 he would eventually leave the server, eventually returning later that year.
May
On 5/12/23, Zulo’s Minecraft server would officially open as a successor to the former Worldbox Minecraft Server. It still runs to this day, and is fairly active (go check it out).
On 5/22/23, Immortal rank would get a new color, changing from a hot-pink to a deeper blue color.

On 7/11/23, Xiphos retires from Guardian, officially becoming the Worldbox server grandfather
On 7/13/23, A brand new batch of Trial Moderators arrived. In this initial batch was: Vienen, Oihan, jnano, mochatan, Demonyxa, fmis, Alkaz, Swedish, Instructed, Saul Goodman, Agent Q, Muda, Denzel, Hivemind, timeguy, Spoonerism, Nordic Games, Dr. Floof, RupprechtKronstedt, Žasinas Valdemaras, Tommy De’ Santi, SaraGM, Investigator, Potato, Vixa, Sinclair, Explanatory Potato, jodee_09, Kappaclysm, IEatBabies, QW, Izon, Maddox. This was Worldbox’s largest ever T-Mod batch.
On 7/26/23, The r/place Reddit event officially ended, and thanks to some people on the server (jnano, HgVaz, Monke, Ujjwal, Jupe, and others), the Worldbox logo was immortalized on the large canvas.
On 7/30/23 To end July off, QuickLast, Nruv, Juicy, Sea Wolf, and Captain Ujjwal hosted the riddle event. In this event there were Worldbox related riddles, and whoever guessed them all right would win a role known as “The Savior”. In the end, the event was won by TimDee2.
August
On 8/13/23, QuickLast became the Head Administrator of the Worldbox server.
On 8/24/23, The winner of the Worldbox summer art event, hosted by Sea Wolf, QuickLast, and Juicy, was won by Ggddx, who created an art piece of a beachfront at sunset featuring many Worldbox creatures such as the Crabzilla and Snowman.
On 8/27/23, The first wave of Trial Moderators from the July batch received promotions. These members were: Vienen, Oihan, jnano, mochatan, Demonyxa, fmis, Alkaz, and Swedish. This was also the same day as Worldbox’s first Mod purge, which said goodbye to Meryl (the first member of the server besides Maxim), Vlasta, Georg, and Unununium.
September
From 9/08/23-9/20/23, The Worldbox Mapwars event took place. This was the largest official event in Worldbox history. The Map Wars were split between 4 different teams. A, B, C, and D. There were 9 days of map wars, and lots of chaos. Propaganda was spread everywhere, rankism happened more often than ever, and leaders such as Jarz and Cosmic rose to power on their respective teams. In the end, Team A placed 4th, Team C placed 3rd, Team B placed 2nd, and Team D won the event, led by Cosmic Potato.
On 9/21/23, just after the Worldbox Mapwar event ended, the counting channel was added, along with custom emoji for numbers 0-9. And On 9/30/23, the counting channel officially made it to 6000.
October
On 10/2/23, Four Portuguese Trial Mods were hired; Dederz, imperius, Agriche, and Lenne.
On 10/7/23, Trazyn’s post in #🤡memes message of Rey reaches 1,000 downvotes!
On 10/14/23, The final wave of the July T-Mod batch rolls in. Instructed was the only promoted moderator, and unfortunately SaraGM, Tommy De’ Santi, timeguy, Potato, and Izon were demoted.
On 10/25/23, Worldbox’s most dedicated moderator, Eye, earned a well deserved promotion to Administrator, earning him a spot as the 7th administrator.
On 10/29/23, Ercan reached Super Pumpkin, the level 100 rank role, being the 3rd ever after Airod and Eye.

November
On 11/2/23, the most recent batch of Trial Moderators dropped. This would include a new array of 22 new moderators, a majority of which were active members of the community. This batch contained Pope, iFailedlife, decafa, acnaq, Kachi, Piat, Alien Man, Onion Emperor, Izon, Orange Julius, Key, britain pog, Mr. Walrus, Seal, Cake, Fakher, waltuh, harrier, birb, Nono, travis scott, Matty, Loxus. This would also see the implementation of a new mentor system, in which experienced mods would help new trial-mods, which greatly boosted the success of the batch.
December
On 12/9/23, Vienen finally finishes and releases Worldbox slander Part 2.
On 12/11/23, the server began to freeze over, as the winter event set in. Many emojis for the main channels were changed, and a new winter theme was introduced to the server.
On 12/23/23, the WorldBox Winter Riddle Event would happen, hosted by Quicklast and our event team. This would include several challenging riddles that pushed members of the server to their riddle-solving limits, ultimately ending with Zeivt, Cheeseman, Third_Tree, Acnaq, Deathrobloxian, Jarz, Subduedrun, IFailedLife, Sea Wolf, and Fail3d winning, receiving various prizes and the special Santa’s Helper role.
On 12/25/23, the Trial Mods from the November batch were promoted to full moderators. This would include IFailedLife, Zeivt, Acnaq, Onion Emperor, Izon, Britain Pog, Pope, Mr. Walrus, Cake, Fakher, Waltuh, Harrier, Birb, Travis Scott, and Matty.
On 12/31/23, the Boxing Match in CloudRider’s living room would occur, drawing in hundreds of members of the server to brawl over who would ultimately be victorious.
On 12/31/23, as the year came to a close, our Portuguese T-Mods Dederz and Imperius would be promoted, the final thing to happen on the WorldBox Discord Server before 2024.

And that concludes our year in review! Thank you everyone for a wonderful year on the WorldBox server! Many of us made great memories here, and let’s hope 2024 goes just as well as 2023

The Egg Spam officially turned one year old. Many Worldboxians were lost to the spam that day, as Egg emojis took over the server following Maxim sending a message in #📣announcements , simply saying “🥚”. The spam would last several hours, but would eventually be brought under control by the moderation team with the use of slowmode and mass mutes. The spam is remembered to this day as a pivotal event in Worldbox’s history, and the memory of those we lost will never be forgotten 🫡

#🌎general message @buoyant gyro would join the server, opening with a statement making fun of WorldBox fans (as one does). He would quickly become active following this message, racking up several thousands of messages in the coming weeks. A few months after his first message, on 9/05/22, he would begin his mod arc, becoming a trial mod and eventually being promoted to full moderator. He would retire from the life of a moderator in the following months, and would become less active, settling in as a semi-frequent chatter and a respected member of the server. As of this message being created, Bread has sent 54,903 messages and reached Mage rank. A public reveal of a 3D version of Worldbox , made by @fair jay, would be officially shown in #📷worldbox-screenshots. After 2 days of coding and hard work, the addon would be completed, creating a way to turn Worldbox worlds into 3D models! As of the creation of this post, work has begun on converting all the buildings into 3D models, and after that animals and actors will be added. The second edition of the largest and most competitive event in the server came to an end, with Drakara Dominion (Team ) won the UMW 2
There were Five teams competing for the title of "The Warriors"

🔴 Team 1 (Drakara Dominion) As mentioned above, the winners 🏆 of the event . Led by Veteran Map Wars player Atomic Spud and Uxair, the team is also better known for its sophisticated and detailed military plan. They defeated Team 5 and then defeated Team 2 on the final day to become the champions of the Ultimate Map Wars.

🟢 Team 2 (Super Earth) Led by Xiphos 🦀, the team was off to a great start. The Team went on a defensive war against Team 3 and came out victorious. The team was one of the most advanced and had the maxed out tech tree. However their troop count fell short of Team One's and on the final day lost to Team One, becoming the runners up of the event. 🥈

⚫ Team 3 (Zevita) Led by Decafa, hardliner Authoritarian team. The team is known for its high number of executions. The team went on war against Team 2, the campaign went horribly and Decafa ended up being executed.Team 3 came up in 4th place.

🔵 Team 4 (Hanrath) The largest team of the event, having nearly 200 members. The team initially led by dual leaders Jarz and Cosmic Potato before the leadership was passed on to Acnaq. The team suffered heavy losses due to Santa Bombings and after an invasion by Team 5 was swept out, coming in at the 5th place.

⚪ Team 5 (Eggrath Republic) It was only one of the teams with no ogs or veteran players. The team was led by Jibanjan initially, because of his inactivity Simoxz took over. They successfully defeated Team 4. However soon after Team 1's successful invasion caused their collapse. The people rebelled against the Aristocracy and instated DarKCI as their leader. However it was already too late. They came in 3rd 🥉

The first member of the server was Meryl, who sent the first message in #🌎general chat #🌎general message, since that day over 25.6 million+ messages have been sent in general and over 50 million+ messages have been sent throughout the server!

Over the past 6 years, the server has gone from a few members to over 540,000+ members. The server has seen a fair share of ups and downs, events, raids, update drops and the occasional dramas and controversies.

On the 6th year anniversary of the server, let's celebrate all the accomplishments of the server and the success of our beloved game Let's also acknowledge the efforts of the countless individuals who have helped shape the server & maintain it over the years and kudos to all the members who have contributed in some way or the other to the server and the game. #🌎general was inexplicably and suddenly transformed into "unicorn-undercroft." Shortly after, people talking in the channel began to be granted the unique "Unicorn" role, which held a pink, glittery color and sported a unicorn icon. Roughly 100 people were affected by this event, and have all since had the unicorn role taken away.
I've asked long-term WorldBox member @west grove, who was present at the time of the event, to do a brief interview.

• How did the event begin?
  "The whole thing originated from crew chambers. Both me and Amazting had the role, but I saw he had the unicorn emoji next to his name, so I asked Key to temporarily take away my mod role so I could have it too. Then Xell came in and asked about the role, so Key gave it to them too. Key then removed her own admin role so she could have the role color, and then it kind of spiraled from there, with every person who came to see it getting the role. Key then decided to do a crusade in general chat that’s where the bulk of it happened."
• How did people get the unicorn role?
  "Anyone who was chatting during that time period got the unicorn role from Key, some people even got it when they didn’t want it."
• What was it like from your perspective?
  "I thought the whole thing was pretty chaotic but also really fun. It was fun seeing everyone with the role and all the unicorn emojis. I hope that something like this happens again because it was a pretty fun way to engage chat."

📜 Back in 2019 & 2020 WorldBox, the rules and moderation were a lot, a lot different than the ones in the modern times.

OLD MODERATION BOT
MEE6 was used for the moderation at the time up until sometime in February of 2020, when it got replaced by YagPDB. Although, mee6 was used for various automodding stuff up until the 19th of March. Every single warn done by MEE6 was nullified in early feb of 2020. Mod logs used to be soley done by hand aswell

MODERATION SYSTEM & WARNS

Helpers used to have moderation commands, and was essentially a trial mod until their role got repurposed later

"Rebr" used to be a warnable offense back in 2021, unsure when it was unbanned though

There used to be a time in 2020 where a role named "Peacekeeper" existed that was basically a language staff role that was very, very limited in powers. It had its own separate channel aswell but was removed during 3/6/2021

The fourth of april 2022 changed a lot of how the moderation formed.
-Major warns and bans were changed from perma to a year expiration, it used to never expire.
-Bans were also changed from perma to having some form of expiration.
-ToS became the new perma ban, it used to be major
-Light, Minor, Major, ToS, Special came fourth.

Cursing used to be outlawed up up until 2020 ( i also need the exact date and time for this), it used to be a major warn. 3 Swear warns used to be an instant ban, but this got lifted in 3/19/2020, officially unbanned on 29th of March 2020

There was also a no tolerance rule for any invites, it used to be a straight ban but it got changed to a kick later (need more accurate info on this one aswell), alongside with the n word but it got changed to a major warn later on in the years

in late 2021 WorldBox, DN (Deez Nuts) jokes were banned for being nsfw from Sep16 2021 up until Feb 3rd 2022, when the automod stopped working and it eventually got unbanned #📜worldbox-history message (more can be read here)

On 12th March, 2023 (or 11th depending on your timezone :p), so exactly 3 years ago today, update starved crowds were waiting in the streets of #🌎general desperate for even the slightest hint of the update's release, which then was the longest wait we had for an update till then ⏱️

As the crowd grew restless and more impatient, Maxim dropped the faithful message a single harmless "🥚". All hell broke loose in #🌎general The crowds, which now turned into hordes, took it as a divine command from Lord Maxim himself to spam the 🥚 to be granted the update, and did exactly that.

What followed were 3 days of chaos and a nightmare for moderators, no channel was spared from the onslaught, multiple channels were closed, riot mode was enabled for the 2nd time in its existence, the slow mode kept increasing but nothing stopped the 🥚. 1000s were muted, 100s were banned. Even after the update was released, some egg spam still continued for days and weeks after the faithful day.

This event is remembered as The Egg Spams Riots of 2023. 🥚

@stoic heron caused the creation of a new channel called "knights-of-ivalice" through an at that point in-beta new AMP feature known as "clans". This feature had been slowly getting developed since April of the same year, with @buoyant moss having acted as the designer of the idea and @delicate gorge having acted as a lead technical developer, the total development time before this initial beta started was 222 days.

The beta clans, Knights of Ivalice by @stoic heron and WorldBox Deep State by @honest stone were used for testing through all of the initial commands to see if they work and otherwise just having fun.
