if I could increase the population limit of villages to 300, that'd be good for me

anything past 300 is a bit too much imo on my modded map sizes

with all the extra bells and whistles, there's no way I can go back to my 30x30 world, that's just impractical (though it'd be cool)

1. the clash. When the war starts. All kingdoms and villages send their troops to the front lines immediately. This is not where the battle lines are set, but the battle line. Depending on how well the clash goes, it either goes into phase 2, or skips to phase 3

2. the struggle, I like to call it. It's a mean back and forth. villages are stocking up at different rates, and sending warriors at different times to different areas. This is where multiple fronts are fought, and victory in one moment, does not gauranteed victory in another

Make them gain XP by killing weak enemies, give them good gear, use trait rain to give them good traits. You can also upgrade warfare stats of the King to increase the army size. Another way is to modify subspecies traits to make them stronger.

I'd recommend discovering OP gear first such as staffs from evil mage etc.. Then using loot rain to give them that specific gear.

The species editor changes the entire species and applies to everyone at once; traits editor are given to a specific NPC you've chosen and give the traits you gave them; the birth editor gives the traits you chose, and applies them to the entire species, and these basic traits will be with the new generation.
