Thats how it used to work back in the earlier versions; that a soldier will stay as a soldier until he dies. But they changed that I think quite recently so its probably an intended change.

Somebody knows how to spread a language? A kingdom had an official language but some of the citizens had another language, so I erased the language of all of them but one (to keep the desired language existing) and now I can't get the citizens to learn the official language, I already gave it Melodyc and Stylish Writing traits, I also gave it Magic words in case they read books but the kingdom doesn't have any yet and I haven't unlocked the plot.

And something similar is happening with the culture in case some of you have any ideas
