I think it magic should be in the game to some degree but also easily disabled. The current magic system has magic so rare, that it doesn't influence it that much unless something big happens.

I let my dwarves run on x5 speed for 3hrs and they still havnt made mythril sets of armour even after i spammed it everywhere on map
