So for example

If a unit has a lifespan of 100 years

They need to live 80

This can be worked around by removing all lifespan increasing traits and genes, making their effective lifespan 1 and giving them immortal after

When done this way the unit will basically almost always respawn so long as they’re an adult which because of their shorter lifespan will happen faster
