If you own a PC, you can install maps on iOS as described in this guide: #1213490166023331850 message .
Otherwise, if you only have your iOS device, it's impossible to install maps on iOS because the operating system refuses to give you access to the game files that you'd need to insert the map into.

Subspecies have a gene segment, in which they have 1-3 chromosomes of varying sizes. Each chromosome has a certain number of slots, which you can put stats in. The stats are stuff like "+10 health," or "+1 attack speed." The subspecies base stats are determined by what stats are in those slots

The kingdom system did get a traits section, but atm it's entirely used for determining tax and tribute
