There isn't. You have to manually edit the image yourself using an art program in order to ensure that every single colour is changed to match the colour palette used by the game. That's the only way it will get converted properly by the image to map converter.

That contains the converter program and the colour palette file (.ico) which is used by an art program

It will give you all the exact colours used by the game for its terrain types

Far from being the best at advice but I think I found a technique that works for making decent mountains somewhat efficiently so thought I'd share what I've learned .

I basically take the top row, 1st or 2nd column brush to draw a line for the peaks, then I spot brush it with one of the smaller, bottom row brushes using the raise elevation tool. Don't hold it, just kinda quickly tap along the line of the mountain range.

It helps for getting a natural looking mountain range while getting the elevation right around the peaks.

Might help to do some light cleanup around the edges and touchups for personal preference.

You can max out a town. Simply go to the settings, find the burger, hit it a buncha times, till a green bug appears in the top right. Then click it, scroll down a little, and find civ cheats. You can then turn on all the options, go back to the top of the cheat menu, and turn on sonic speed.

It'll then go VROOM VROOM and in a minute or 2 you'll have a maxed out town.

Back then, one chunk = 10x10 tiles

And so if you try to load a map that old into the current version the game, the game will forcibly add extra space at the top and the right filled with ocean tiles to match its new size
