unfortunately some of the biomes are more destructive which makes for more precision map making to avoid that

togglable tiles and some other stuff could be added, but i'm not really interested in that myself. python source with credits to modifications over the years is available for anyone that wants to do that though

i used an existing one online and changed the colors to make AMP's

doesnt look like it works anymore

its not as detailed or as cool as the other, but it has the worldbox look since its also perlin

adding rivers and such would be ahead of worldbox, but maxim is upgrading the generator next update with various things so we will see

@hallow drift I'm not a expert, but make sure that your rivers as they flow downstream from the mountains or hill tiles that they conjoin to make a main river. Another great tip is to look at some irl reference photos.

a good base size is 1024 × 1024

divide 1024 by 2 or multiply 1024 by 2 to get other sizes and so on

That happens when you make a map image that is of the "wrong" size (that is, not in multiples of 64) and use it in the converter. The converter forcibly resizes the map to make the dimensions in multiples of 64, but this results in undesired changes in the map terrain itself due to how the algorithm works.

In any case, terrain coming out as the wrong type is a result of colour changes that happen when a map image is not of the right dimensions and gets forcibly resized by the converter
