4.go back and click on the "download button at the top
5.then click on device memory then android and then data Then find the world box folder

How to download maps on android 11

  1. Download "Explorer" file explorer from google play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer)
  2. Open the app and allow it to manage files
  3. Find Android folder and open it, also open data file
  4. You'll see some popup, touch yes and also touch "use this folder" at bottom without opening any files that are showing
  5. If you have succeeded, the app will have access to android file
  6. Follow the guide to download maps (https://the-official-worldbox-wiki.fandom.com/wiki/Maps)

@wanton heart first check if your android device is rooted if not

@wanton heart download zachiver from playstore. then open it go to android and allow it to root. Then goto worldbox save a map in which u want the world file. after that go to worldbox map download channel. and download the map u want. after download is complete find that file copy it then. goto android then data then search worldbox press the folder. then file . then save then. find the save file u saved before and open it. then paste . delete the old file thats name map.box. if your downloaded while that u got has the same name then overwrite it.. and it should be done. if your downloded map has the name map.(1)wbox then. delete the old map named map.wbox . then rename the downloded map to map.wbox (remove that (1)). then save it. after that leave goto world box (thegame) and open your world it should be error free and should be there.. (sorry if u dint understand my english isnt that good)... i will send u video if u cant do it

When I convert a map after doing all that stuff in gimp, my coastlines, at least parts of my coastline, are coast. Is there some way to fix this issue?

So I make my maps in gimp, as in I take an image in which I want to convert and I change it to worldbox colors

That happens if the size of your image isn't in multiples of 64

The converter resizes the image to be in multiples of 64, and that results in hills being created whenever there are forest tiles next to water tiles

This means you have to make sure that the size of the image you're using for conversion in the first place has to be in multiples of 64

#

like 640x640 for example
